Monique went above and beyond for getting my wife situated with a proper, clean, and ready truck. There was a weird issue with the website but she went above and beyond to make sure that we got the right needs met. She’s an employee at Home Depot but definitely made my Penske experience one that was a non stress inducing one and made an already wild aspect of moving, feel more manageable. Monique, if you’re seeing this, thank you truly!

Do yourself a favor and find an actual Penske location. I choose Penske because I want the peace of mind that comes with knowing that the equipment I rent has been inspected for safety and reliability. This was at a Home Depot, and the staff there simply don't have the time to inspect equipment before renting it out. The car carrier I needed had been turned in that morning, but no one had the time to look it over. I was told that it "should be ok". If I wanted milquetoast platitudes, I'd go to their national competitor and pay less. This failure of an operation should fall upon the management of both Penske and Home Depot, not the workers at Home Depot, who are clearly overworked, understaffed, and underpaid for this responsibility. I've been using Penske for all my moves since 2008, but this experience has caused me to reconsider whether they're actually worth it since their disregard for the safety of their customers is this evident.

Wow terrible. Reserved a 26 foot truck online and it stated it has a 1000lb lift gate. I get here and the only truck left has no lift gate. Now they are sending me to Chino to get a truck. Or I can wait 4 hours for them to bring one. Totally screws up my move day. Customer service is awful. The lady said you did not state you needed a lift gate. And I told her that it reads online that it gas a 1000lb gate, and she just shook her head. So dismissive. Bad bad service

Absolutely terrible experience, had a truck reserved for a week, they call me everyday to verify my order and pickup days then literally the day before my move they call me to tell me the truck was needed elsewhere!!! . Absolutely unacceptable and there resolution was equally bad, there answer was to send me to another facility in Ontario!? And still have me pay 99¢ per mile? No thank you. Took my business to uhaul and even got a cheaper price. Don't waste your time with these clowns, someone should teach these idiots how to run a business.
