Jay is exactly the type of guy you want to do business with, he's really a car guy, who happens to own a dealership. I bought a 2003 Lexus SC 430 in early April 2017. I've been seeking this particular vehicle for six to nine months, and juggling between other vehicles types. My criteria was pretty narrow, so I definitely knew what vehicles would & would not satisfy my pallet. Bottom line is that I paid $13,800 (out the door) when I was budgeted for $10,000. Seeing the amount of work Jay put into the cars and how he made his deals made me happy to spend the additional $3,800 above my original budget. Since I was buying a 14 year old car, the choices are limited. At a certain point, you really cannot nitpick took much. The alternative is buying a new car with new car prices. Some additional details of how Jay interacted with me during my original visit, test drive (x2), and finally the purchase.As mentioned, I was looking for a Lexus SC 430, in white. Back in November 2016, I found one for $11,400 in Hollywood, CA. Good guys, but I really wasn't ready to purchase, just yet. I then found another one (white, of course) in Murrieta, CA. I had some business in Riverside, CA so when I finished, I called the Murrieta dealer and gave them a call.... The guy was very kind and notified me that he had another customer coming in to see the car and didn't want me to drive the hour, if the car was already sold. Yeah, they sold the car.... So, driving back from Riverside back to the Los Angeles area, I checked autotrader.com and saw Inland Valley Auto. I decided to drop in and take a look just because it was on my way home. The price was bit higher than expected.. but hey, why not. I'm not really going out of my way to check out the car. Upon arrival to Inland Valley Auto, I was greeted by a very kind lady, I believe her name was Irene. She allowed me to peruse around the dealership and check out what's on the lot. Jay literally has my favorites on his lot. A 90s MR2, a Supra from the late 80s/early 90s, a 240 and 300Z, an older IS, all of these cars with some paint and modifications are Fast and the Furious type cars. NOTE: If I have to tell you that the first two cars are Toyotas, the second two are Nissan, and the last is a Lexus, you're not a car guy/gal... sorry. Jay also had a lot of old license plates and baseball cards in his office. I immediately knew I like whomever I was going to deal with. While I was looking around the dealership, Irene had called Jay to come over. Apparently Jay also has a mechanic's shop about 3 blocks away and was taking care of other business. Jay drives in, we shake hands, a quick intro and he lets me drive the MR2 first. I've always wanted to drive the 90s MR2, so that was a special treat. I personally own a 2003 MR2, but never got a chance to drive the earlier model. I then drive the SC 430 which I came to see. The drive was great. Keep in mind, I've test drove this model (SC 430) four or five times now at other dealerships already, so I knew what I was looking for. I came back from the test drive, told him my situation, he was priced a little high, but let's keep talking. Jay was very respectful and did not pressure me at all. I think this is where the "car guy" aspect really helps. I recognize that he did put some TLC in the car. I recognized that some of the leather was re-done, he changed the timing belt, and generally this was a well take care of vehicle. I asked Jay if he can swap out the rims with another vehicle. He said Yes. I asked Jay if I can switch out the antenna. He said Yes. I asked him if I can have a Lexus dealership inspect the car before I purchase. He said Yes. I mean, talk about letting the customer do whatever s/he wants. I forgot to mention that Jay also had three other SC 430s on his lot, all silver, so I wasn't really interested in those. I wanted the white one. The rims and antenna would be sources from the other silver SCs. I told Jay I'd like to think about it and left his lot, no pressure, jus

This is the best place to bring your car, period. Everyone here is super friendly and very honest. I have a durango and every where I took it to get fixed, it just kept getting worse. Jay is the best and he has helped my car run much better. I am so thankful for them!

I purchased a 1994 Corvette from Inland Valley Auto and Jay (the owner) gave me the full rundown on the vehicle and addressed the maintenance performed at his shop prior to selling to make sure the car he was selling was ready to go! I'm glad I went this route rather than buying a random car off of craigslist or offer up.

This is our 2nd car buying off Jay! Each experience was great. Jay went above and beyond to take care of us and the Two Lexus we have purchased. I purchased a car from Jay this weekend and I have been at ease every since the very first phone call with him regarding one of his vehicles for sale. Jay was honest and genuine from the get go and his love for cars and helping people really shined through from the start. Jay took his time to explain everything to me about the car and it felt good to know that he personally drives every car to ensure everything is working properly. There was never a second where I felt pressured, lied to or treated poorly. This was the smoothest most comfortable car buying experience I've been through. I'll definitely be sending over anyone I know who is looking for some new wheels and when I'm ready for the next one, I'll be back.

Jay is an honest guy. I was going to purchase another car at other dealer(s) until i saw the bad reviews. Jay maintains all his cars with his own trusted mechanics. His prices are fair and financing is also very good. This is a local mom and pop small business that has been around for awhile that takes care of their customers. No high pressure sales here.

I just bought a 2002 Lexus SC 430. Jay did a great job on it and looks and feels like a brand new car. He cares about his work and is willing to work with you. If you want "bang for your buck", this place does it well with taking a variety of pre-owned cars and transforming them into a very good vehicle.
