The people at the shelter are really nice and helpful. I surrendered a lost dog that I found in my area. I couldn’t find the owner. The dog was a friendly loving potty trained maltese mix. He went in on a Wednesday and was adopted by Tuesday. I find that most shelters is full and killing dogs daily. I’m just glad the dog found a good home.

As a black woman I feel uneasy because I constantly tried to make a meet and greet with a specific dog. They treated me terribly, and disrespectful I called multiple times throughout two days and still no meet and greet. When I called to set up my meet and greet the first people
to go before me didn't show and so it was finally my turn to have the meet and great. Soon after time passed,I called they told me the dog was unavailable because he had been adopted and "I was beat to the punch." Which is what the receptionist told me and I was highly upset, and I feel as if they have a hate towards black people

My son adopted 2 kittens last week and since then I've called twice and always get voice-mail. I've left messages and nobody returns a call? I noticed yesterday that one of the kittens was scooting on the carpet and wanted to know if she was dewormed? I would think that would of been done before adoption. Then last night we noticed the male kitten has ptsd amd wanted to know if they knew about it? They want you to adopt but can't get support after. Ugh.. It hasn't even been a week since adoption.

We adopted a Schnoodle puppy from Friends of Upland Animal Shelter about ten days ago. We had visited several shelters and this one was nicer than the others. They have other animals besides just cats and dogs separated in different sections. Staff was very nice but they seemed short staffed, so getting the paperwork done took a while. They are providing vaccinations as part of the adoption so we will be going back two more times. Recommend you check them out.

If I can give this place -10 I will!!! We try to be civilized and human with animals that we rescued because there’s people who is so irresponsible and abandoned animals!! So for those who we think we are doing the right thing and rescue this animals they do want get lots of money from us (we already fixed the animals) to no be as irresponsible as those who abandoned them!!! But this call rescue places are literally profiting from a good people!!! So after all is not a thing from their heart but a thing for $$$$$$$&
