I needed help with a computer problem - come to find out I was the problem! However, the gentleman (Tim?) who helped me solve my dilemma was extremely professional, savvy, kind, and HELPFUL! I have been down to the "Genius Bar" and, trust me, they have little "genius" when it comes to customer service.Try this service first-I doubt you will be disappointed! Thank you, Cornice!

I don't want to argue for monopolies, but I don't really understand why this shop exists. Cornice charges $60 to diagnose an issue with your computer, but the Apple Store does that for free. In my case Cornice's repair bid was 60% more expensive than what the Apple Store offered.Cornice has great customer service, but in my experience the Apple Store undercuts them on both price and speed.

I have had a problem with my older MacBook using the Wi-Fi. It would not go on the internet. Frustrated I finally called Apple Care, after a lengthy call trying to make my MacBook to work they suggested Cornice. The representative made a reservation and I went the next day. Cornice is located in an industrial park area. There was plenty of parking with shade. Going in I was nervous my MacBook was too old to keep working. They have a great display of vintage Apples!! The gentleman greeted and checked us in. Then I told him what was happening with my MacBook. I turned it on and he proceeded to click his way through the problem. He figured it out quickly and clicked the whole problem away!! He rebooted my MacBook and checked to make sure it was operating properly. Then he shut it off, restarted it and had me make sure it would go on WI-FI and the internet by myself. It was a great relief to have my MacBook working again, there's paperwork for me to tackle! The gentleman reassured me I have plenty of memory and can add the newest update. The gentleman was so friendly and helpful- I am sorry I didn't get his name!! He was so generous not to charge me!! I was pleasantly surprised! I highly recommend coming to get your MacBook checked here!!

The shop was very friendly. I loved that they did not erase my data like Apple does when doing an AppleCare+ repair. They also let me use my computer while they ordered parts. Quick and friendly service.

Kind customer service and good at following social distancing, however I took my MacBook in for diagnostic but refused the repair due to the cost. But looking at my MacBook, I was given it back with a new scratch/crack in the screen. I would’ve been ok with this if they had let me know about it when I went back in and paid $65 for the diagnostic. My mistake was not going to an apple store instead.UPDATE: I was able to fix my computers flash storage for only $60 elsewhere, where they tried charging $500+!!!! Save money and look at other resources ?

Amazing! First off, I was 20 mins late to my appointment and they were going to close very soon. Regardless, they took me in and Tim even ended up staying a little past closing until my problem was resolved. He was very knowledgeable and toward the end, he didn't even charge for his help since we managed to fix it there and then.

I was estimated to get my computer in 2-3 days and it took 2.5 weeks. Look elsewhere for repairs

I usually take my MacBook to Apple for repairs, but I decided to try this place out because it was closer. What a mistake. I've had my MacBook for a number of years and recently the keycaps have gotten loose from use. Each time I've taken it to Apple, it takes 5-10 minutes for them to replace the keycaps. Cornice told me that I'd have to leave my computer with them for at least most of the day, if not overnight. I asked them why it would take that long, and they said that they had other computers to look at first. I was confused because this repair should only take a few minutes, and they said that they would need to run tests on my computer. I told them that my computer didn't need tests because my keycaps just needed to be replaced. They said that it was their policy to test all computers, and that all service providers should do so. This is bizarre because I'm pretty sure that Apple doesn't do this. Why would you need to run tests if it's clearly a solely external issue? Even if Apple does this, it only takes about 5 minutes, as the whole service is done within 10 minutes, if not sooner. The blonde woman I interacted with at the counter didn't seem to care. She didn't even attempt to apologize for the inconvenience. With COVID and remote work, you'd think that someone who works with computers would understand how limiting it can be for many people to be without their computer even for a day. I'm studying for the California Bar Exam and can't take a day off from my study program, which requires my laptop. I wouldn't recommend this place. The mandatory testing policy is ridiculous. The employees are also much friendlier at Apple. In addition, they made me wait 15 minutes after my appointment time to come in. I don't see how they could run so behind (an hour after they opened) if they don't do any small repairs immediately. It would've taken much less time for me to just go to Apple in the first place. Maybe Cornice is great for people with more complex issues, but I won't be back.

Made appointment at the Apple Genius Bar to drop off MacBook Pro for repair. Drove clear over there and waited in line 30 minutes to drop off. They called the next day and said they couldn't repair my model even though it had been stipulated to when they'd set the appointment to repair so I had to drive clear back over there to pick it up. Took it to Cornice who replaced the entire top-case assembly including keyboard, track pad. They also installed a new battery and speakers. Major stuff! Handled courteously, professionally, and exceptionally. Highly recommended

My brand new MacBook would not longer turn on. I check apple repair services online and Cornice had the fastest appointment time available. From the beginning, they were completely honest and professional. Every question or email I had, they responded within 24 hours. Karen is a wonderful resource at the front desk! COVID is affecting all industries with delays and safety protocols for everything. I understand this may make things a little different and difficult but I appreciate the efforts and kindness CORNICE was in fixing my computer. Thank you!

Due to the COVID19 they are the only business available for assistance with my Apple iPhone. The rep I spoke to is not clear when speaking. I found myself questioning what he told me. Very repetitive without explanation. For example, I thought I was eligible for a loaner cell while mine needed to be repaired. He told me approximately 3 to 4 times that I may not be eligible until he put in order to Apple to send it in & have it repaired. I had to finally tell him, to stop telling me because I understood what he told me & to please start the order before my phone died. I was sitting in my car & we were talking on the phone per their request posted at their front door. Finally, he tells me that YES, I was eligible. Another example was when I was trying to make a reservation to return back. We could not agree on a day & time for my return. He tells me about the online reservation. I go to online & it only books for one week at a time. Why? People need to make appointments. I had to call him back & tell him I couldn’t schedule online. I had to set it up with him. Just a lot of wasted time. Now I am sitting in parking lot waiting to turn in loaner & I want to pick up my cell. I’ve been the only person sitting in parking lot waiting to be helped. I got here an hour ago & it’s already passed my appointment time I was given by same rep.i am thankful that on first day I came, I was helped but it took a little over 4 hours from the time I got to this business to the time I walked out with the loaner. I don’t recommend this business.

They tried really hard with my computer, not only did they provide detailed feedback on my options on how to proceed (my MacBook Pro harddrive died) but they gave me alternatives and a solution that fit my needs. It felt like they went above and beyond. I definitely recommend this place

Needed to get some service done on my MacBook Air and was directed here as all Apple stores are currently closed. We called (the number listed here) to see what we needed to do and were told just bring it up and it would be 7-14 days unless we wanted to pay a "rush" fee to get to the front of the line. Great. Drove 45mins up to the store and they have a sign in the window stating to call before entering. So I call and they now tell me they do not accept walk ins and they are not currently doing the "rush fee" because of how busy they are. Then they try and tell me it was Apple who told me about their timelines and policies. Yeah I didn't wait in the black hole of hold with Apple at all. That and well unless they have their lines forwarded to Apple or an Apple rep works in their store that is a straight up lie. Guess the pandemic is an excuse to not honor what you tell people calling and inquiring about your services here.
