I can't recommend Bates enough! From start to finish, my experience was exceptional. Henry and his crew are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the issues with my car in detail without making me feel pressured. They provided a transparent and fair estimate, and their turnaround time was quicker than expected.
I will never trust my cars to another mechanic and I will refer EVERYONE to him!

Henry has never let me or my family down. If you are looking for a good HONEST mechanic, this isThe place. I had a leak that needed to be checked and he was nice enough to wait for me and make sure it was safe to drive.

This is my first time using Bates Auto. I went in for air conditioning issues. He not only fixed my air, he also found the reason my engine light was on. Which I've taken to the dealer several times and they would fix it only to have the light come back on a couple of days later. Henry was very professional in explaining everything that needed to be done. He was fast and extremely inexpensive for everything that I needed repaired. It's hard to find a place you can trust. I will definitely be bringing all my vehicles here from now on.

My check engine light came out during the night so I called my cousin for help and he quickly spoke highly of a shop called (Bates shop) and Henry, saying Henry is very reliable, quick and reasonable price. He set me up with an appointment with Henry right away for next day in the morning, my car was dropped off at 9a.m. I got free around 10ish 11a.m. I called Henry to ask if my car was staying overnight so I could make arrangements and come to my surprise Henry said "no need for that, your car is ready" I was so happy to hear those words, but that day I got out late from work and Henry was kind enough to wait even though the shop was closed. What really was a bonus for me was that I was expecting a high invoice I was even afraid to ask what was the total and come to my surprise it wasn't even half of what I was expecting. I'll highly recommend this shop along with Henry very quick, kind, respectful and reasonable prices.

I had a plastic bag burned to my pipe and the owner took care of it fast. Coming back here to get my brakes done. Shop is honest and kind.

I was having problems with my starter when my brother referred me to Henry at Bates. He told me that they do great work and charge a reasonable rate. That's exactly what I received. My car was fixed same day and for much less than what the dealership was asking. Henry and I had a great talk about car maintenance and he was not only very knowledgeable, but also very honest about what to prioritize in car care. I will definitely be bringing my car back to Bates to have it serviced.
