I used to live in Hawaii. Sometimes people ask me how expensive groceries were. If you ever want to experience it - go to this Albertsons where you can pay $8 for a gallon of milk only to realize when you get home it expires the next day. This is not Whole Foods although your bank account will hardly know the difference. Aside from that it's a clean store and employees are friendly.

I have been a loyal customer buying our birthday cakes. I have noticed a few months back I bought one and it was not good. I gave it another try yesterday for my husband's birthday and it was terrible!! It was dry and it had a strong freezer burn taste. Very disappointing and embarrassing!! I will be trying Stater Bros or Ralphs. Vons here in Alta Loma on Carnelian and 19st also has very bad customer service in the bakery.

Bad experience today at this Albertsons. I went to checkout at one if the 10 items or less checkouts and I placed my plastic bag on the bag holder expecting the cashier would bag my groceries. I had 5 items . After swiping my card I noticed that the cashier moved my plastic bag back and placed it on top of the items. She gave me my receipt and just stood there. I looked at her and NOTHING. After a few seconds I realized that she didn't want to bag them. I bagged them. REALLY? Talk about the lack of customer service. There was nobody behind me waiting in line.

This review is strictly for the cashier, Lillian.Super nice great customer service. I had more than 15 items and she let me in the express lane thank you. I really appreciated that as I explained I just got back from Arizona and I had two dogs in the car. .

Becareful with the Digital coupons. I've had two experiences whereby the item is marked on sale in the store but doesn't come up in your phone. When you tell the cashier they'll say, IT'S NOT COMING UP!" I had to go to the store manager to have my money refunded. Attitudes by employees not very pleasant!

3/25/23 support continues to keep rotting food in the shelves. Saw one of the workers pick through the worst of the food and continue on while leaving large amounts of food that should be tossed still on the shelves!Clearly this is an issue the owners do not care to correct because it would affect their profit margins! Gone are the days the people take pride in their work over profits. Dawn you should be ashamed of selling rotting food!

I was in the store today with my dog I put a blanket down and he was in the cart. I didn't see a problem as I have been in with him SEVERAL times before and not one employee said I couldn't have him in there. Also he is a mini dachshund and is only 9 months old, he is just a harmless puppy. I was shopping and as I turned the corner down an aisle I was confronted by the manager James. He very rudely told me that I couldn't have my dog in the store and I had to leave immediately, I was a little shocked as I had been in there several times over almost the course of a year and no one has said anything to me including other managers. I have been in there so often with him that several of the employees know my dog by name. I begin to push the cart towards the front of the store and he demanded that I take the dog out of the cart immediately. Then I said can I just walk to the front of the store, and then he yelled for another employee to remove my dog from the cart. So I go to get all of my stuff and my dog out and he begins to take the cart away with my groceries in it. My mom was with me and tried to get my items out of the cart to put in hers and he proceeded to drag the cart away and when my mom said she wanted those items he was extremely rude to her. So I leave the store and I'm standing outside and he comes out to confront me for a second time. He stated that another employee had already told me to leave the store with my dog I commented that I had not talked to anyone and he YELLED back "Are you saying I'm lying!!!" I simply said back yes because no one had spoke to me previously. I had no problem taking the dog out however his demeanor and the way he spoke to my mom was extremely rude and extremely unprofessional. I will not be returning to the store. He made no attempt apologize or even acknowledge my mom after that. My family and I have spent much of our hard earned money there and to be treated the way we were today is outrageous. Kindness and professionalism is everything and if he had changed his tone and treated me with respect I would probably return to the store but now I won't

Shout-out to the butchers! I ordered 18 half pound filet mignon steaks for a dinner party I was hosting. The steaks were brought up to room temp and then grilled on a gas BBQ with Montreal Steak Seasoning. The guests RAVED about the quality of the meat and wanted to know which butcher shop I had used. Everyone was amazed when I shared the beef was from Albertsons. Great job Meat Department! I'll be back, so keep up the good work!

This is by far the worst supermarket in Upland. If you can, go somewhere else. They consistently sell old, rotten produce and only mark it on sale if it is starting to go bad or rot. I spoke to their produce manager about this and instead of addressing my comment he proceeded to tell me that his department sells the most produce compared to all other Albertsons in the area. Same with their meats - they only mark a sale if you have to use or freeze it within one day. I was just there yesterday and bought several peaches and I cut all of them open this morning and they were all rotten - total waste of money. And they are the most expensive market out here. I only shopped here for convenience because it is so close, but no more. I will no longer be shopping here.

Management please address your overly aggressive clerk. I believe his name is Mike. He's never helpful and never nice. It must feel awful for the other employees. You can see it! This last time was the last straw. I had never used the app before but noticed the sirloins were on sale so the nice deli clerk told me it should be easy. So as I was shopping I went and located other possible coupon items on the app. As I get to the register, I already don't want to go in his lane but had kids with me so they chose the course. I asked if he could show me where the barcode was for him to scan and he was like nope its a whole thing and in your emails. Super rude and unwilling! So I almost paid regular price at $30 or something! Luckily the next clerk over assisted me with no problem at all while he scanned my items. She was so patient and we were done in a matter of a minute. So here's this clerk who you can barely ask anything or he flips! I'm just done! Why is he the face of Albertsons this guy belongs in the back! I've also heard he's rude to my elderly in laws. Not ok! Please check on this!

The Upland Albertsons has a great location that I find easy access to though it is further than other markets in my neighborhood. I like that it is across the street from Target, and one signal away from the 210. Seems like a strange way to start a review, but it is one of the reasons for switching my prescriptions to this store. (Though... I wish that the corporate folks would change their text messages to read "Albertsons" rather than "Vons" when sending me alerts that my meds are ready for pick up. Yes, I know that Vons and Albertsons are now related...)Another thing I like about this store, which also relates to accessibility, is how wide the aisles are, how easy it is to reach things, and the availability of products I need, like and just plain can't wait to eat, like their donuts. The store is rarely busy during the day, and weekends are pretty easy to navigate too with plenty of cashiers at the ready. There are a couple of chatty young guys that sometimes get in the way, but they're cute and try to be helpful. Staff is friendly and doesn't spend a lot of time talking with their coworkers and ignoring the customers, so happy about that!

One of the better Albertsons in the Upland/Rancho area! Not only because on nice and sunny days you have a lovely view of mountains, not only because you truly feel safe with you and your family while walking through the parking lot, but also because the staff here is amazing and truly do have you leaving with a smile on your face. Thank you Albertsons of Upland for being a great local neighborhood store.

Does anyone know why this Albertsons had completely emptied meat and seafood cases, both those on ice and the packaged fresh meats? Looked serious. Employees said they hoped to be selling fresh meat and seafood again late today.
