This USED to be a good comic book store but they have really gone downhill - they claim to accept returns but then look for reasons to not honor that claim; there stock is pretty abysmal; what they do have in stock is usually damaged; & the staff is pretty unhelpful.
Hopefully the store can return to what it once was. In the meantime, there are better comic stores in the area, so don’t waste your time.

Didn't give me the Univsersal employee discount. And was talking nervous the whole time. Buying something over 50$...
Won't come again!!!

For first time action figures buyers
I’m dissapointed in this store about how they mark up their action figures by a lot turns out I’ve never found out you cannot return figures to this store. They never Gave me a warning or nothing about that since when you purchase it they open the box so that you could see and supposedly that it’s in good condition I’m disappointed that I wasted a lot of money that what the figure is worth I’ve never returning to this store again and if you want to buy figures you could find them in Amazon or big bad toy store for better prices or just google your figure and get it from Japan or whoever is the maker you’ll probably find a good price and save you money. This is just a warning if your new to this store and just warning that you could find better prices elsewhere than here this is just a scam honestly I could’ve saved 320$ but ended up wasting it to the store but I learn my lesson and never again never returning to this store

Used their website to preorder some comics with deliveries scheduled every 4 weeks in the settings. Unfortunately, they do not hold your selected items for 4 weeks. They seem to do in a preset 4 week cycle that they do not disclose. So they currently have 3 comics that released last week ready to ship for $35 rather than a full 4 weeks worth of comics. I tried to connect them, but have only received a response that they are very backed up and someone we reach out when they can. I may take my business elsewhere. $35 to ship 3 new release $4 comics! Ridiculous. And then they try to blame shipping cost on my choice of shipping methods, as you can see from the response. I specifically requested shipments to be 4 weeks worth of preorders, and they are sending 1 week and blaming me because my last order occurred in 2021. Terrible customer service response.

I love this place. They have a wall trying to keep up with the latest comic books that I can appreciate. Not sure how to explain but if I wanted the 10 latests comics of a series, probably couldn't get it but they still have the latest comics. Apologies if I didn't explain that well. There's a ton of collectibles so if you're looking for a gift or anything to decorate your house, solid options here. Shirts are a lil too nerdy for me but they seem to have been made of solid material. Customer service is great. They've always been helpful while I've been here. Not sure about the prices but it's like the toys r us for comic book shops

This store has a lot of pop culture merchandise from different tv shows and movies. If you’re a fan of Ironman, there is a life size figurine you can check out at the store. There are plushies, comic books, bags, trading cards, and even board games with the tv show / movie theme. Everything is neatly organized in their sections within the store.

Sailor Moon is one of my favorite anime's and Things From Another World had a lot of Sailor Moon merchandise!! My husband and I were walking around Universal's City Walk on a Wednesday evening. While exploring, we found Things From Another World, right next to Toothsome's Chocolate Emporium! Do you like Comics, Anime, DCs, Marvel, Funko Pops? If so, you'll enjoy visiting this store! This store was packed with tons of Funko Pops and Comics. There was even a small section for Manga! You'll see some of the popular series like Dragon Ball Z. There was a lot of apparel too! We saw a few Naruto themed shirts on sale. Other themed shirts included Sonic, Chainsaw Man (Pochita!!), FNFA (Fight Nights at Freddys)! I was looking at a lot of their figurines. There were a few collectors editions of Marvel characters on display. In another section, you'll see a row dedicated to anime character figurines. There were a lot of Sailor Moon figurines, specifically of Usagi, Sailor Moon/Princess Serenity. There were also some Q Poskets for sale. I saw some Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba Tanjiro figurines! Things From Another World had a wide variety of backpacks too. One of the favorite ones I saw was the cat Luna from Sailor Moon. There were different sizes offered! You could easily spend an hour going through all of the merchandise offered at Things From Another World! They even had some cool doormats for sale! I saw D&D one that had "Roll for Initiative!" I plan on stopping back in to buy a few video game themed shirts!

Visited for the first time in September, and was hugely impressed by the variety of pop culture merchandise. Fans of comic books, superheroes, sci-fi, horror, and fantasy definitely should make this a priority stop when visiting CityWalk. I could have spent a lot more time in the shop than I was able to, but being able to pick up a few of the week's new comics was a very pleasant surprise after a long day at the theme park!

Called 3 different times and was told different store policies. Initially called Tuesday was told to call the next day to place an over the phone order. Called the next day and was told I was too late for the item I wanted. Called today was told they don't take over the phone orders at all. I am calling from a different state and I explained that to everyone I spoke to and they assured me they would be able to ship. So upsetting that this store is so unorganized that employees all have a different version of their policy
