Great hotel if you’re going to universal studios
The buffet is also very awesome for breakfast
Massage seats near the front desk are very cool
Nearby activities: Universal studios and the mall near it
If you take a 5 minutes uber there are lots of restaurants from across the highway

Clean, comfortable, and convenient! This location is very nice, the employees are all very kind, and it's so close to the Universal Hollywood park!

We stayed here recently as part of a trip to Universal. The location was ideal, very very close and an easy walk to the park. The detractors were the room/hotel experience.
1) The hotel room was okay, but felt a bit old/used.
2) The room thermostat was not easy to use nor did it seem to adjust correctly until overnight
3) The TV offerings were sad. And the TV guide was inaccurate.
4) Mobility shower aside, the water pressure was less than expected.
5) Parking is 45 dollars a day PLUS City taxes which were just over 10 dollars (per day). So 55 dollars for parking.
6) NO breakfast included. This was lame. There is a Starbucks which sells food. There is a "continental breakfast for 25.99 per person, and a 34.99 option which we accidentally ended up with because it was unclear from the server-yourself buffet. With tip, we spent nearly 100 dollars on breakfast for 2. It was ridiculous.
7) Starbucks was okay, by far the least expensive option, but for two people, it was still right about 50 dollars. Again ridiculous.
8) The lowest suggested tip in California is 18%....18%....
9) I went into the in-hotel store and was going to buy a bag of Nerds candy, one that costs 4.99 at Walmart, their price $11.
Be ready to have some sticker shock. It just made for a generally average experience. The location was great, and we might stay here again just for that reason, but otherwise, not so much.

Terrible soundproofing in the rooms, you could hear people blowing their noses and clear details of conversations. Good thing it wasn't other noises.
Rooms: Terrible sound proofing....

For Universal Hollywood is a great deal, but cheap food options are not that close, so be ready for a good walk

Do not recommend The rooms themselves are nice looking, but they smell and the beds are just awful. You can tell you are sleeping on some ancient mattresses. The 'free' breakfast is basically toast (with stale bread), some random assorted meats and some green bananas. There is a nicer breakfast with bacon, waffles, omelets but it's an upcharge.

We had a reservation for over 6 months. We got there on time and had to wait 3+ hours for the room to be ready.

I chose this to have a leisurely time at Universal Studios.
The room is spacious and adequate, but the water pressure in the shower is weak. It takes a long time to wash my hair.
I was surprised that there was no safety box in the room. I really wanted to go to Universal Studios lightly, but I had to come up with a lot of ideas. Why is the room so spacious?
I used the restaurant on the first floor for breakfast, but it was really bad. But there are enough tables. I stayed at the Airport Hilton in New York, and the food there was better.
I'll give up on this accommodation fee, thinking it's just a place fee.
Next time, I will choose another hotel even further away and come by metro.
I'm a Hilton member, so I made a reservation through the app, but I got an invalid error and was asked to present another card. The first card was the one I use regularly and during the same trip. I was able to secure a reservation using a replacement card, but it's strange.

I had a fantastic experience at the Universal City Hilton! I rented the pool Cabanas and enjoyed the scenery very much. I had an issue with the outdoor service. However, it was handled immediately.
The hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of quality, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. I truly felt welcomed and valued throughout my stay. The amenities and food were top-notch, making it a perfect place for relaxation and enjoyment. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!

The location is great, walking distance to universal studio. However we stayed for 3 nights and house keeping forgot to come on the second day. Concierge made up for us by giving free full breakfast (executive rooms come with breakfast but if you want hit food you need to pay extra $10 a person for full breakfast). Overall a good experience. Love the view and location. It would be better if they can have the rooms upgraded.

This hotel is in such a great spot. The shuttle service was always prompt and we never had to wait long. We could even walk to or from the park. Although my feet were exhausted from the day. The view from our room was amazing and we could see Universal.
My only complaint is the wallpaper in the bathroom. Unsure if it was intentional or because we were on the 21st floor. But the wallpaper was not done well. Bubbles are still left in it and they did not match up the ends well.

All was wonderful except the gift shop. It was closed at 7 one night for the worker to have dinner. When the time was up she still didn't open. Just changed the sign for the new time she would open. With me standing there watching her.
