Please read LAJ's response to her negative review."Annette,LAJ Wood Products has a return policy of a 15% restocking fee applied to any items returned within 30 days from the date of purchase. All refunds will be issued by check and mailed within 7 to 10 business days. Items cannot be returned for a refund past the 30 days purchase date.The date of your purchase was on 09/30/22, and you came to our shop to make a return on 01/6/23. Since your purchase date was well over 30 days, we could have denied your return. We are predominately a wholesaler, but we understand that some of our retail customers may need more than 30 days to complete their staircase project which is why we allow in certain cases for customers to return items for a partial refund past 30 days. However the restocking fee increases each month from the time it takes you to return your items.We would like to apologize to you if we were not clear about this, or if there was any misunderstanding regarding our return policy. I reviewed our email correspondence, and we did inform you of a possible increase of restocking fee that will be applied if returns are past 30 days of the purchase date. But since we did not have any additional info regarding your exact purchase date at the time of your email inquiry, we failed to inform you that the restocking fee was going to be 60%. You had the choice to take back your returned items but you declined to do so.It is nice to hear that your staircase has been completed, and that you are satisfied with our products. We appreciate your business and for writing this review as it will help allow our customers to be more aware of our company’s return policy when deciding to purchase stair parts from us. Take care."”
“Jared was very helpful with my order. I ordered on-line & picked up my order. I discovered that a key produce was unavailable. Jared informed me that the produce was being delivered that night. I returned the next day & Jared helped me find the produce & quickly checked me out! Great customer service!”

“Costco is my favorite store. I enjoy shopping there because they house everything in bulk. I shop for my house and my moms and I don't go but every other month. It's like I buy an item and get the 2nd item free. This is very helpful for large families or multiple households.”
“So busy and should have better hours. Every Costco should open at 0630 and close at 2230. They would make so much more money and way less of a crowd all the time and better parking for disabled”

“I'm working on a kitchen remodel and needed a few sheets of walnut plywood and 4/4 lumber for a cabinet. After exchanging a few emails with Jack, I visited their showroom and he offered to give me a tour of their warehouse. They have huge selection of hardwood plywood (best I've found in the east bay) and both rough and surfaced lumber.I picked out the sheets I wanted and they showed up the following afternoon. For someone without a lumber rack, free next-day delivery is an absolute life saver.It would be nice if they could display prices on the labels in the warehouse but that might not be feasible due to the fluctuation in pricing.”

“Specialty stores like this are so important and helpful when you need great products and advice, and so many products are in stock so you can just get to work on your project. I'm not a pro, just a homeowner who bought my flooring through them in 2007 (or '06) and who returned this year to see if I could tackle damage in my rental. Stores that cater to pros can potentially feel intimidating to the DIY / weekend warrior. I go in humble, looking for help and come out delighted. Thank you!”

The warehouse was clean, well stocked and organized, the staff were friendly, but note that there are no self checkouts - this is also why I gave this Costco location a 4 star review. Otherwise, everything went just as good as any other Costco location out there. Overall, this is a good place to visit.”

“Just a quick update on Costco Hayward. Costcos are generally the same around. This one is not too bad and has a plenty of parking. I rarely go to this one as it's a further one. It is a pretty busy location, so try to aim for shopping during non-peak times. This time around it was just a normal Costco run, finding Coke Zero, finding a deal for sweatpants. And easily paid and checked out.”

“Had an issue at home, water supply had be be shut down! Went to lowes and home depot and didn't even carry thr supplies I needed?! Time crunch for a customer that wasn't gonna be happy!! WHCI Plumbing supply company in Union City is the Solution! They had all I needed without wasting time at the local supply stores and finishing the job! Definitely my primary supply outlet!!
