Granted by chance if you're lucky enough to have assistance, in the locked up items section. For instance, a pair of jeans. They would place you in an inconveniently long line. I noticed the assistant place the item in the cart. By the time I finally reached the checkout after being in line for over 15 minutes. Turns out that the item in the cart was missing and someone else thought it was a return. Both the cashier and the other assistant just had this 'Oh well' attitude. So in turn I didn't want to cause a scene and just walked out. A big sign to not rely on anyone there. Fifteen minutes wasted without any resolution. Not even a 'sorry for the inconvenience' Just made an already aggravated day a worse one.

The self check out stands have been removed, and Walmart has elected to NOT hire additional cashiers to help with the massive load of customers waiting in line. Customers are waiting in line for 20 to 30 minutes in some cases. There is also no clear instruction on how the Walmart Scan & Go service works, so people that are not Walmart+ customers think they've scanned their $200 worth of groceries, only to find out at the checkstand that it will not work because they need to pay $15 a month to be a Walmart+ member and utilize the Scan & Go service. Those people are waiting in line twice, and so they're potentially standing in line for nearly an hour - and that amount of time does not count for the time spent shopping and entering everything into Scan & Go. It's completely unacceptable. My final visit to this Walmart store was on March 21 and I will not be returning to any Walmart for a very, very long time, if ever.

Yesterday I noticed Walmart started having an employee scan every item in my cart. They still have the self-check scanners closed, but the individual scanners are now manned by employees. The time in line was faster as the employee scanned every item faster than I could. Thank goodness for this.

Just wanted to share my experience with your store in Union City Ca today. Since your corporate office line doesn't have one phone number for a manager I thought I would try you. Today I stood at Walmart in UC CA for about 30 mins with not one person able to help. I called the store with the Google number and no one answered. Once again I pressed a button and asked 3 employees to help but not one had a key. We called people over the intercoms not one person came. Your employee at automotive had to leave customers in line to run and get some help although he used the intercome multiple times. This Walmart has declined in customer service tremendously and no one seems to care. You customer relations team let me know managers get weekends off and they will see my ticket complaint on MONDAY. I'm so happy I get help in a timely fashion at your stores. Sincerely, every customer who has enter UNION CITY CA WALMART.

I dropped my wallet in the Shopping Cart on 02/24/2024 in the parking lot after loading the purchase in my car. Unfortunately I did not know it, in my next shopping step near by, I realized that I don't have my wallet. I was so panicked, ran back to the store to ask and reported to Store Manager. I do have couple CC and few hundred cash in wallet. But today, 02/27/2024 I received the phone call from Walmart's Teams Leader and let me know that they found the wallet. I was so happy to hear that and ran to store right away. It turn out 1employee, CART PUSHER/COLLECTOR found it and reported to the MANAGER. . Luckily, I have my Company Card in the wallet, so they be able to call me . I am so impress with the professional manner of the employee who found my wallet and kudo WALMART's Customer Service Training so awesome with honesty, dignity. I would like to say a million thank to Walmart , Alana Team Leader, and the person who found my wallet. Best luck to all of you and I am very sure, the good service which you give to your customer always with us.

A woman who works i the photo department in the morning deserves nothing but demotion and no commendation. An employee like her can put the company in so many unnecessary lawsuits .. I was looking for a watch phone and innocently looking through the ones on display without realizing that touching such would alarm them. My intentions were clean without malice. I was waiting for my passport photos to be available that's why I was window shopping! I felt so insulted and i felt so insulted and offended when all of a sudden she asked where I got my phone and I stole it?!! I ignored and kept my silence since I know within my heart I had my phone for more than 5 years... she is a Filipino woman. My next plan of action is to report her to her manager if I could not file a lawsuit..

Item locked behind cabinet. No one had the key. Nor did anyone have a radio to call someone. Nor did they offer to call anyone even though they are one Deparment over. -_- and mind you, I asked two people.

Returned two battery backup devices for electronics that were made in 2021 and take 15 hours to charge. I found out that Amazon has pocket size battery backup chargers that fully charge in 90 minutes. Thank you for allowing the return. I would have been very angry for buying the dinosaurs.

Quality/Quantity - New tire and install for my daughter. This is the only time I miss the Hegenberger Walmart closure. I know it is only 17 miles from Alameda/Oakland, but 17 commuter hour miles! Which equates to almost an hour drive for me. Got here with 9 mins to spare. Atmosphere - Good size Walmart, but honestly I just came into the auto department through their own entrance. Easy in and easy out. Looks like they have 4-6 bays. Ordered her tire online and made the install appointment online, all easy/user friendly. Even though I got the first appointment today, there were still 4 customers in line when I got here and 3 more parking behind me. The team member was efficient and got us all processed within minutes (per person). Thank you. Service - 5 stars, see above. Picking up the car was even smoother, I was the only person there. The car was serviced in time as promised, actually they were done 4 minutes early. Price - $80 ish. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1969, the world's largest company by revenue, $548+ billion. 50+ stores in Nevada and 310+ stores in California.
