We would like to make a formal complaint to the manager at US Bank, Union City, Safeway, her name is Nini Hoang and one of the banker, Sharngeet AulakhIt is sad to make this formal complaint as we’ve had great experience each time we visit Safeway, Union City branch with the previous manager, Waseem, he’s great till we heard he was transferred to another branch, then we met the current manager Nini Hoang and her banker Sharngeet Aulakh.There have been interactions with the current manager, Nini that is not a good experience, but we ignore it, until the last visit in November, Nini Hoang, served my husband, he asked for a cashier’s check which we usually do once a month. Nini said that there will be a $10 fee since my husband’s account has only $300 balance on his checking, typically they only waive the fee if the balance has a lot of money in their account. (Now, that doesn’t make any sense) the worse part was Nini loudly told my husband (mind you, this branch is inside Safeway with a lot of people/traffic) that he needs to pay a fee of $10 for cashier’s check, it’s the way she delivered exposing my husband’s financial status to public is not acceptable at all, she was rude and not friendly at all.Another bad experience happened again yesterday, this time it’s with a banker, Sharngeet Aulakh, she was rude and condescending when she speaks to us, we knew Nini spoke to her while we were in queue and looked at us as if “here’s trouble”.We are truly disappointed with our last visit at the local brach, Safeway Union City. I hope our experience will not happen to others.We will continue banking with US bank, we’ve had great experience with Kariza and Waseem. We will not let one or two staff discouraged us from banking with you.Thank you so muchNorman & Percia Hernandez

If there's a 0 star, I would rate that to Union City, Safeway branch, but it only gave me 1 star selection. So the lady who did this act is still here she's trying to run around with no glasses on thinking that no one Recognizes her from the photo Supposedly she's the manager at least that's the interpretation I got from the filipino guy who was leaving out after her who thought he could talk to me in a blackish accent Don't get mad when somebody's start's talking to you in a fake chinese accent because remember what you did to me Karmas a b**** lmao

I don't like how they open at 11 am , I need the bank open at 8 am . I start work at 10 am to 7pm , and there is open two people working which makes very very long lines . I deposit two checks yesterday 1200 dollars , and I need to pay bills with , and the bank is hold on to my checks for two days , only 225 bucks is all I can use , so I'm getting charged 35 Dollars every time , my check account has no money , this was never an issue in the past, why is there less people to help , why can't any one answer the phone , I'm looking for an bank, I'm also being charged 4 dollars every month on my saving account a maintenance fee , for nothing , I have over the 300 dollars , in the account, I'm very unhappy with the bank .

Since opening an account with US Bank, I haven't had an issue until 2 weeks ago when I went in to deposit my check from work. The lady (wish I knew her name) who took my deposit was friendly, but she had ripped out the bottom part of my check which has the state of California's routing and checking number so my deposit was denied. How confusing is it for an employee/teller to knows that the bottom part was attached to a check for a reason? Maybe focus on doing what's right instead of trying to rush through things and maybe I won't have to deal with this unnecessary inconvenience.

Every single person I have interacted it was a pleasure to deal with at this location. I mostly work with Chris (Krishna) and Jared. The manager is also very knowledgeable and provides good service. They are patient with questions and will take the time out to provide a good explanation. I am usually in and out with what I need. The lines are good except for around closing time when a lot of people show up. The only tip I would have is to call in before needing any change as they do tend to run out if you are looking for quarters or something some days of the week. Their hours are super convenient for me!

I've never had to wait so long at a US bank before. I've had loan applications that took less time. Homeboy behind the counter sauntered to the back room not a single drop of urgency for the 4 people waiting. Finally just left, I could have drove to another location in the time I spent waiting for these uninterested goobers.

Amazing staff! Signed up with them bc they are always so helpful and attentive. Waseem was the gentlemen that always helped me out so when i found out he was leaving i became concerned about the new employees. However, even the new staff is very helpful-Maddie and Kris, are who i see often whenever i come by. Im always happy with my transactions going smoothly. They are friendly and amazing as well

I love the customer service this US Bank branch offers. staff members are very curtious, friendly, polite, professional, knowledgeable and everyone is always helping us with a smile on their face. I am thankful for that.

This is not my bank but my few employees have this bank so I have to come deposit every week and staff is very cool but service they need to be proved lots. Because I have other 6 banks to go if everyone take that much time I'm not finish my work in 2 days

My business has worked with US Bank for decades. I have experience with several of the Fremont branches as well as this particular branch in Union City. I scratch my head a little at the reviews complaining about being made to wait. I've gone to this bank every week for the past several years and I don't think I've ever waited more than 5 minutes, perhaps 10 at worst. Usually, I walk right up to the counter. Granted, I typically go after work; it is busier at lunch, but that's expected since everyone tries to get their business done at lunch. If you look around, the entire grocery store is busier at lunch, so to complain about lines is a bit unfair. What's more important that wait times is the quality of the service you receive. Everyone here is absolutely fantastic. The manager Nini, assistant manager Waseem, and the tellers Vanessa, Jim, and Maddie are all friendly and highly competent. I have had issues that other bank branches were unable to result after hours on the phone or on person that they were able to clear up for me. In particular, Waseem has gone above and beyond on more than one occasion to follow-up and to deal w/ US Bank bureaucracy on my behalf. In all my years of working with banks, he has stood out as exemplary. It can be an impersonal business with rigid checks and rules, yet I feel that he is genuinely personally invested in my business and family's well-being.
