Pretty solid farmer's market, a bit small, but it's got the essentials. Valencia oranges, organic jumbo eggs, etc.
There is a seafood vendor here, but they leave around 11. The oysters are some good sized Olympias, fresh and alive. The scallops are wet though, so keep that in mind.
Veggie-wise, the selection here leans towards Filipino cooking, but it'll suffice for most Asian cooking ingredients, though it will be 3x more expensive depending on what you get (ex. spring onions, cilantro, etc)

The Union City Farmers' Market is more than just a place to shop; it's a community hub that brings people together. It's a place where neighbors and friends gather to support local farmers and enjoy the freshest ingredients. The market fosters a sense of connection and appreciation for the bounties of nature. From the moment you step into this vibrant market, you're greeted by an array of colorful fruits and vegetables that are as affordable as they are delicious. The prices at this market are truly remarkable, allowing you to stock up on a wide variety of fruits without breaking the bank. One of the highlights of the Union City Farmers' Market is the quality of the produce. The fruits are ripe, juicy, and bursting with flavor, making each bite a delightful experience. Whether you're looking for seasonal favorites or exotic finds, this market offers a diverse selection to cater to all taste preferences. Beyond the incredible prices and high-quality produce, the market provides a unique and lively atmosphere. Strolling through the stalls, you'll encounter friendly farmers and vendors who are passionate about their offerings. They are always ready to answer questions, share tips on selecting the best produce, and even provide recipe ideas.

Been going to this Farmers market almost every Saturday! Great selections of fresh veggies, fruits and fish! I always get some eggs and balut from the Filipino couple but it's been 2-3 weeks now that I have not seen their stall? Does anybody knows if they're just on vacation??? Appreciate it.

Nice little local farmers market. A raised gazebo for musicians who used to play but haven't for a long time. Produce from as far away as Fresno\Clovis!

This was much smaller than expected with a smaller number of vendors than many other farmers market.

This review is for the fish monger only. I asked if he sold fish collarbone which is tasty when broiled, instead he said buy the tail piece which was just as tasty. Huge mistake as the piece was tough and old. Dishonesty gets you nowhere

I haven't seen much of vegetable and fruit selections. I usually go to the filipino food stand in this market. Food is delicious however, it's kind of pricey.

Very decent Farmer's market. Location: Old Alvarado Park, only on Saturdays. Fresh produces and fruits available. Food and fish stalls are also there. Small compared to the other Farmer's markets around. Reasonably priced I would say. Fruits were really good, especially the berries I bought that day. People are friendly as well. What I liked the best about this is the location. It's in the Old Alvarado Park; shades all around. Comfortable walking around and picking up fruits/veggies without the troubles of sun in the Summer weather. There's play area near by where kids can have fun as well. Disadvantages: Small farmer's market, options are less. Parking is a big headache. Public parking spots near by, but always full. Street parking in the best option, but hard to find.

A decent farmer's market that sell a variety of produce, organic strawberries, most common Asian leafy greens, fresh seafood and fish,, and a catering that serves great chicharon, bagnet. They also serve other Ilokano dishes. The reason for stars is that a few of the vegetable vendors portion their bunches a little smaller compared to other farmer's markets from other cities. Prices went up like $3 - $4/ pound. During the pandemic & following the precautionary measures, The vendors will attend to every customer because they are only ones weighing and handing out the vegetables for you. They mostly accept cash, and they can accept credit cards.

Union City’s Farmers Market is one of the best and open every Saturday Rain or Shine!! They’ve got fresh seafood, a huge variety of fruits and veggies, including popular Asian veggies. Filipino BBQ and other popular dishes. Hummus and chips, Kennel Corn.....This is also in such a great location right in the Alvarado Historic District close to other local restaurants etc.
