I used New World Van Lines to arrange my car to be shipped on one of their trucks from Michigan to California. I received word that their driver completely totaled my brand new car while on the truck due to not having clearance under a bridge, but proceeding anyway. Not only did they total my car, they wouldn't come to the correct pickup location, they assured me my hesitations at pickup about the location of my car on the truck would not be an issue, and they told me about the damages 4 days after it happened. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND using this company.

Bad service, damaged furniture and lost/misappropriated some other items, and refused to compensate. Will never use myself, and don't recommend to others

I used New World Van Line (NWVL) for a company relocation. I was hesitating to choose this company due to some negative reviews online, but since they promised to handle everything including packing, moving and unpacking, I chose them to save some time. It turns out to be an expensive lesson. I lost thousand dollars of personal belongings during this moving, and they refused to take any responsibility, simply pushed everything to the police. They are experienced at this knowing that it is hard to obtain the surveillance of the stealing, so pushing to the police is the easiest way to let them escape from the similar cases. They outsource the moving to the third party driver, and the driver outsources the job to the local crews. About six crews came for packing and loading in TX, and another six crews came for unloading and unpacking. It is hard to watch them because multiple crews were unpacking in different rooms. After two days, I counted my stuff and found several items missing, total value thousands of dollars. One wallet was even missing from the box. They asked you to sign the completion document right after unpacking, and they only unpack the stuff laying on the ground. It was impossible to know if anything in the box was missing on the spot, and please note, they are not liable for the items missing in the box either. This is the answer I got after I filed a claim with NWVL. If they are not liable for items in the box, they should not provide the service of packing and unpacking. Just moving the packed boxes by the customer is the safest. If providing this service, they should take the liability. And they will not emphasize or even mention to you before signing the contract with them. This is the risk that you will take when choosing NWVL. You’d better pray that you encounter the fourth party crews with clean hands, otherwise your valuable items can be missing without any compensation. Expensive lesson for me to learn.

Don't trust this company to safely move your property, as they will damage it and take no responsibility.

Run away from this company ASAP. They were extremely unprofessional, unreliable, always late, and very rude. They sold me on a service of "pro packaging" my new TV and it showed up smashed to pieces. On top of that, they either lost or stole my golf clubs (not sure yet but they didn't show up with my stuff)... Seriously can't stress this enough. DO NOT USE WORLD VAN LINES.

Worlds worst moving company. If you want to never see your items out of their warehouse trust this awful company. Horrible customer service. 3 weeks of trying to get my items out of storage, they cannot deliver it as my company contracted them to do, they cannot let me in to get my items, and no one is working here apparently. Next step is to call cops on them. Terrifying. Run away.

THE WORST COMPANY EVER!If I could give minus stars I would. I beg you please save your time and health and NEVER PLEASE NEVER deal with them. We ve been trying to get our boxes for 3 weeks. Communication is awful. I mean it, AWFUL! We finally were able to make an appointment for today. We drove 11h from Portland to SF to get our staff and NO ONE IS HERE! NO ONE picks up. When finally after tons of calls from both number they picked up - customer service guy totally doesn't give a crap. Blamed us. Very unprofessional and just wanted to get rid of us. So here we are, waiting 3h already for a miracle I guess. AWFUL. THE WORST COMPANY EVER. NEVER NEVER NEVER USE IT.

DO NOT use this company if you are someone moving who values their new neighbors' property. Their trucks arrived and, instead of knocking on doors and asking people to move their cars to make their truck entrance to our street easier, they almost hit my vehicle (I moved it...still waiting from my thanks from the driver). Then, they backed the truck down the narrow street and took off two limbs from a tree in my yard
