I've been going to Mika for a few years now for my hair cuts and absolutely love her!!! She always gets my hair right and just love our convos! She makes my appts so fun, 10/10 recommend her. The salon's vibe is amazing all around.

I don't think I could say enough AMAZING things about Chantel! Curly haired ladies this is your PSA if you need a haircut come see Chantel and if there is a wait I promise you she's worth waiting for!!! I went into today super nervous because I've never had a good experience when cutting my hair. She saw that and explained everything she was doing, the pros and cons of certain cuts, and her vibe was fabulous! She also took time to learn about what I did with my hair at home and what I used to style my hair. She then drew out a small sketch so I could see what she was going to do. I love my cut and I would definitely go see her again!!!

I've been going to Mitos on and off for several years. It's a great hair salon at reasonable prices. I've seen Paula who is the owner's daughter. Paula also has her own salon in Pleasanton so she's not at the Union City location as often. I recommend trying to book with her in advance. She's not a super chatty person which I definitely don't mind as an introvert :) I think she delivers when it comes to achieving the hair cut that I want. I also saw Kayla recently. She's super friendly, warm, and very chatty. She was so patient with me as we "tested" different hair lengths for the cut that I was going for. She's detailed oriented and her cuts are even. I would recommend either for your next visit!

I have always gone to April for my hair. Mitos is easily accessible with a lot of parking in their plaza. I got a balayage baby light root melt and was always happy with the service I received. Mitos is a very clean, well-kept salon and everyone is very nice. I have recommended April and the salon in general to other friends and they have also loved the experience

Chantal is a superstar! I wanted a long lob for a new year look and she delivered flawlessly. I loved how she did mini sketches to visually show me her vision of what she has in mind. This put me at ease as we did discuss on my daily routine and how each sketch could really vary just depending on the different lifestyle. After we agree on a look, she went ahead to get my hair washed and started cutting. I also loved how personable she was! It was like catching up with an old friend and we talked about the most random things. I would definitely return 100% and highly recommend Chantal for your hair needs!

I have naturally jet black hair which is hard to lighten, and Paula did an excellent job coloring it to give me perfect ashy blonde highlights and baby-lights. The layers of colors are precise and blended in so well. I get so many compliments on my hair! I also went from a long haircut to a short bob cut which I love. It's clear that Paula is very talented and can achieve any hairstyle you desire.

Had a 12:30pm appointment today with Mika and went in about 10 minutes early. I went to check on my appointment and I saw that it was raised by $20? Nobody had told me that the price changed from $55 to $75 for a haircut. Left the store before getting my cut cos wtf lol

If you have curly hair please do not go to Janette, I went in maybe a month ago to get a trim and came out with almost all my hair cut off. I specially told her what I wanted, she insisted to cut more off as I told her no because it's not her hair it's mine. My hair was down to my waist when going into her seat I came out with my hair barley under my breast. I don't know how she didn't follow my directions. Not to mention she cut my hair in like 3 minutes. If you have curly hair please DO NOT go to Janette because she ruined my curls along with my hair. She is not specialized is curly cuts at all !

I wish Google could have a no star option.They don’t deserve a single star.They turned my hair black. I clearly mentioned I don’t want black hair. I have asked them to keep the current colour and blend it with the same colour from rooots.

Sadly, the salon lady couldn't understand my English and instead of trying harder to understand, she assumed that I wanted my hair cut much shorter. Haircut did not look nice, luckily it's growing out now.

Went in their a couple of days ago to do my hair black. I got Ms.josie as my hair stylist , really gentle with my hair i almost fell asleep on how gentle she was. I love how my hair came out black/blue like i wanted. I recommend ms.josie

Can't really comment on services as they cancelled my appt last minute saying the hair stylist is sick with a cold... the day right after valentines... hm.. I took it for what it's worth, maybe she really did get sick. She did however text to reach out and apologized. Since her next online booking is couple months out, I asked if she would make exceptions for the people she cancelled last minute that's been waiting months for an appt. She said she would reach out once she gets over her cold and fit us in. Here I am thinking couple days. Nope... it's been a month and not a peep from her. Hope she's ok! I really was looking forward in trying her out but I was super desperate to get my hair done. I waited a a week and a half and when I still didn't hear from her, I knew she wasn't about to come through. It all worked out as I found another stylist that was able to take me in within the week and did an amazing job on my hair. But it would've been nice if she would've kept her word instead of leaving her clients high and dry. I'm sure she's got lots of clients where she didn't care if she lost a few along the way. Wish her the best... just maybe in the future, keep your word and communicate with your clients.

This place is terrible. They damaged my hair by product they used. My hair stays frizzy after their hair color. I have also experienced horrible management once, but let that slide in. I confirmed my appointment yet hair stylist didn't show up and didn't bother to inform. I do not recommend this salon.

I can only say good things about this salon. The place is super clean, very classy looking and all the stylists are exceptional. I have been coming to this salon for more than a decade and have been following Mitos for my hair and grooming wherever she goes for I have never found anyone who could match her talent and professionalism .
