“We were in this area to deal with some family issues and decided to stay here for a long stay since it was close to the area we needed to be at. Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The staff were amazing and very helpful. The rooms were nice sized, with a full refrigerator and kitchen, dishes, glassware, silverware, etc. I requested a quieter room and was very happy with our room. We had a couple lights burned out, but they came up and fixed it right away. I would get texts every few days asking how our stay was going and if we needed anything. It was nice getting follow up texts. I can't say enough good things about this place. The beds are so comfortable and I slept so good for the time we were there, which usually doesn't happen when I travel. The breakfast buffet was very good too. I enjoyed the yogurt bar. The hotel lobby was decorated in Christmas decor, which just made the stay that much more special. We will definitely be staying here again when in the area. Thank you staff for making our stay so wonderful.Rooms: Beds are so comfortable”

“Every time I'm in Menlo Park for work, I've always been curious about The Park James Hotel. Having finally stayed there, it absolutely exceeded my expectations! From the moment you step inside, the attention to detail in the rooms, lobby, and dining areas is immediately apparent. The decor exudes the elegance of a boutique Four Seasons hotel, creating a luxurious atmosphere. Situated conveniently off El Camino Real, the hotel's location is ideal. The staff, especially our bartender Eddie, was exceptionally personable. General Manager Lyle also made a memorable impact by ensuring our stay was perfect. I'm already looking forward to my next stay at The Park James Hotel when I return to Menlo Park”

“The main reason I took a star off is because when I walked into the bathroom, there was a huge hairy spider in the bathtub waiting to greet me. Not a daddy long legs...the kind that you don't simply catch in a tissue and throw away. Being arachnaphobic, this was a nightmare for me. I took the trash can, filled it with water and poured it into the bathtub and put it down the drain. In all my years of staying at hotels of all kinds, this is the first time I've ever had a spider in my room. Now that's not to say it's completely the responsibility of housekeeping to do pest control but the last thing I wanted to see in my room was a spider. I spent the rest of the evening paranoid that there would be another one.Despite that, everything else was perfect. The room was amazingly spacious and while I've read reviews from others mentioning the sound of the freeway being a bad thing, I didn't notice it at all and my room was facing the freeway. For it being a weekend, I was pleasantly surprised that there was no noisy neighbors or loud TV/music. It was perfect for me to get a good night's rest. I wish I didn't have to be out the door so early the following morning, I would have loved to try their hot breakfast, which is one of the main reasons why I stay at Holiday Inn Express properties.I've read other negative reviews about the property, including there being some kind of issue with flies at the entrance (?) but I didn't experience any of what previous reviews have mentioned so that likely means they addressed those issues. Either way, I would stay here again (although I might bring a can of Raid next time, haha, we'll see!).”

“It’s a nice clean quiet place to stay at a very reasonable price. Lots of extra amenities like usb chargers, spot lamps, etc. were available in the room too.The beds are comfortable. The warm water works. The room has a Kuerig coffee maker so you use your own favorite pod. Half and half creamers are available in the lobby. Coffee and hot water are available in the lobby. The gym works great too. Simple gym with several treadmills, ellipticals, and dumbbells. The morning breakfast is a good deal included with the room. The menu may change but they had eggs, sausages, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, and more. The only disappointment we had was the pool being closed. We had chose this hotel for having a swimming pool.Rooms: Room was clean and quiet.Walkability: No restaurant nearby of walking distance.Food & drinks: A nice breakfast is included. There is a snack bar shop selling snacks and drinks in the lobby.Coffee and hot water are available in the lobby too.”

“I have stayed in many Fremont hotels in my travels over the years. Once I found The Mission Peak Lodge, it is the only place I stay in Fremont. Amy and her staff have always provided a safe clean room at the best price in town. I have left my laptop charging cord and Amy had it on my return. Take a walk across the street at Ohlone College or keep going up Mission Peak.Hope you enjoy your stay as I always do.”

“Our experience with the hotel is positive. The lady that checked us in was very helpful and friendly. We forgot her name, but to describe her, this sweet lady had a pink hair at the time. ?. Our room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and tasty. The servers were very accommodating and service was great. The only drawback is during our check out. The young lady at the front desk was not helpful at all. She made it seem that we were disturbing her. She needs more training in customer service. Overall, our experience was great.

Rooms: Comfortable and clean.

Food & drinks: Complimentary breakfast was good and tasty.

Noteworthy details: I suggest the Complimentary breakfast. You can't go wrong with it.”

“This place was awesome! I travel for work and I stay in a lot of hotels. This place was just amazing. The staff is super friendly, the breakfast is decent, and the room was immaculate. The area is very convenient and safe. The amenities are plentiful, and every Tuesday, they hook up a free appetizer and free beer or wine! Of all my travels, in all of the places I have stayed, this place was delightful. I would strongly recommend this place over the neighboring hotels.”

“Had a pleasant week staying at the Hyatt. Rooms was clean and had a good range of amenities inside the kitchenette including an oven and a fridge-freeze. Bed was comfortable and the shower was ok. The only (minor) criticism would be the lack of a central ceiling light in the main bedroom but that wasn't a major issue. The room was generally quiet too.

Breakfast was certainly nicer than most other hotels in the area but the variety was a bit limited”

The general manager Marsha was lovely, impressive, and a genuine spirit.Special thanks to Charlene at the front desk. She was very helpful and polite.Rooms: If you love contemporary with pops of color and the lighting is perfect. There wasn't a thing missing!! Beds are also comfortable for a good nights rest.Nearby activities: This is located in a business park and several car dealerships where nearby.Safety: You will want to valet and may want to walk alone from the self parking garage it's not attached.Walkability: Not recommended car is neededFood & drinks: Loved the coffee and breakfast. The dinner and lunch, the presentations are great but lacking in taste for the cost. Area for dining and drinks have more than one area for seating. It can accommodate more than one mood in different areas”

“Five times a year there is this Awesome healing school which offers seminars there in the conference rooms, called the Barbara Brennan School of Healing after some famous author. I was staying there and curious, and got invited in for a student for a day and attended because I am interested in Yoga and meditation, and it was awesome. From what little I could gleam they teach a form of holistic mind body healing that is based on mindfulness and being more aware of all our own emotions and thoughts, and being able to make better decisions and take care of ourselves with all that extra information of what's truly going on inside us. Was really cool ??❤️”

Much easier to put on my scrambled eggs. They're serious about the no smoking, a room near me had the "deodorizing in progress" sign up, yep, someone smoked/vaped, and they're getting charged.I'd stay again, no doubt”
