Nightmare Experience with Good Earth Staging Company - Unprofessional and Dishonest!
I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Good Earth Staging Company and its owner, Deepak Shah, has been nothing short of a nightmare. I hired them to stage a home in Fremont, CA, and paid them in advance as required. However, I ended up selling the home off-market and informed them well in advance that the staging would not be needed.
According to our written contract, I was supposed to be reimbursed 100% of the money I paid since I gave them ample notice that staging would no longer be necessary. It’s now been over three months since that conversation, and I still haven’t seen a dime of my money back!
Despite multiple attempts to contact Deepak Shah and Good Earth Staging Company, I’ve received nothing but empty promises, excuses, and a complete lack of professionalism. The level of customer service is abysmal—no communication, no accountability, and no respect for their clients.
I am now left with no option but to take this matter to small claims court to get what is rightfully mine. This experience has been beyond frustrating, and I would strongly urge anyone considering Good Earth Staging to RUN the other way! There are many reputable companies out there, and this is definitely NOT one of them.
Save yourself the headache and avoid Good Earth Staging Company and Deepak Shah at all costs. I will never, ever work with them again, and I certainly won’t be referring them to any of my clients or colleagues. This entire ordeal has been a huge waste of time and energy. Buyer beware!

worst company ! We ever heard and worked with , they take money in advance and give a very low quality work
Do not trust his team and the owner Deepak shah! He will not even pay to his employees on time .forget about paying on time.he doesn't pay at all!.out of lots of hardwork they believe him and work ! He is just running a local staging company out of his old clients may be one or two may give him work but he takes all the money and behaves as if he knows designing !he doesn't even answer the calls if they don't meet the customers expectation.

My experience with this staging company was disappointing. The lack of professionalism and poor communication made the process a hassle. There were constant delays, and I had to consistently follow up for information, only to receive excuses in return.Despite their assurance to complete the staging before the open house, it wasn't done, and the charges were surprisingly high. The communication was so subpar that it often felt like a potential scam. They require full payment upfront, even though their service quality doesn't match the request for such upfront commitment. Considering the headaches I faced, I find it hard to genuinely endorse this company. Dealing with them was frustrating, and I wouldn't want others to go through the same ordeal.

Additionally, the staging was unsatisfactory with low-quality furniture placed in my backyard, and bulky furniture crammed into my small living room. Regrettably, the company failed to complete the staging before the first open house, even though their pricing was high. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

I wouldn't trust Deepak with my money. He is a massive fraud and lacks any integrity or professionalism. Took our money and did substandard job. I would never work with him again. How I wish I could rate Good Earth negative here.

Good Earth team is remarkable in staging of homes, moving and interior decoration: 3 in 1 service. Deepak completely transformed my home (which I was selling) and turned my storage/in law unit into a beautiful bedroom. Due to his deep insight and great sense of staging we got quite a few offers. Second is his help in moving. He helps his clients with moving seamlessly. He kept my original furniture in one of his storage till the time I sold my home, went into my new home and completed my set up. Immense flexibility, patience and easy to work with - kudos to the expert team of movers. They did an amazing job!!!! I wish I could give them 100 stars!!! Interior decoration: I was so happy with my home staging that I requested Deepak to do my new home interior as well. He did a great job, very good eye for details and again very flexible. He completely transformed my new house too. Thank you Deepak for the amazing job. One feedback I would say is that there is no furniture guarantee papers and with any defects or problems Deepak would be the person to go for. Overall, I would close my eyes and recommend Good Earth for staging, moving and interior decoration purposes for your home. They are just brilliant!!!

Deepak did an amazing job with staging. His passion for the work shows up in each and every setup that was done on each corner of the house. We were so impressed that we also got our new house interiors done by him! He gave us a great price and was flexible with the timings. We confirmed him just a day before and he made necessary arrangements to make sure we got our pictures of the staged house in time. Without that, we would have lost a week. He also helped us with the move to a new house and was very accommodative. He is very knowledgable and professional. I would highly recommend him for both staging and moving services.

I have used Good earth staging numerous times in the last year or two for all my new builds and listings. As always, Deepak is extremely helpful and will make sure to accommodate me one way or the other. There had been a couple cases where he sent in a crew to stage my listing with last minute notice at late hours after the crew had already did a days work. The quality of staging had always been top notch and the flexibility/customer service is unparalleled. On top of all this, the pricing had been really the best I could find after shopping around for a bit. Great work ethic, great customer service and good intent makes me recommend Deepak and his team 200% to every one.

I have been working with Deepak on many projects. He is one of the best for the following reasons. 1. AVAILABILITY to address the client's issues/concerns right away There is no such thing as a "PERFECT" system/company. If Apple product iPhone-1 is the perfect product, Apple would be not have produced the iPhone-12. Even TRILLION dollar company cant be made a perfect product. As long as addressing the timely issues manner and making progress for betterment is matters. Deepak's availability makes a significant differentiation factor. 2. UNDERSTANDING the client's needs/requirements Many times Stager thinks they know everything. They ignore the client's needs/requirements and are many times arrogant. Deepak's listen to the Clients requirements and make adjustments accordingly. Example adding more quality furniture with a lot of colors. 3. QUALITY in handling the project. Based on experience with other Stagers, they ignore and do the Staging if they see some unnecessary stuff at home. In contrast, Deepak moves those stuff in storage/Garage and does the Staging to make the presentation look fantastic. * Most importantly Deepak is a very good human being to be around.

Good Earth Staging did an awesome job styling our home. They provided quality furniture along with rugs, wall arts , lamps and much more. Deepak and his team made the entire process very easy for us, we met couple of times to discuss our requirements and after that they took over and completed the project really quick. We were kept in the loop at every step of the way. The entire experience was very smooth & seamless and I highly recommend them for styling your home.

I've worked with Deepak for the past few years for over 30 listings. He accommodates on short notice and has really good taste and stages the house according to its style, really bringing out the beauty of every home. He's also helped many of my clients with moving and storage.

Deepak staged our 3B/2b home, he was introduced by our Realtor. We were in a hurry and wanted to go live in market within a week, Deepak accommodated us in such a short notice, he even helped us moving all our furnitures to storage. His team is very punctual and professional in their work. The staging of the house was excellent, with a great sense of staging. They staged the entire house within hours, and he even helped us keeping couple of furniture until we moved out of that house. I strongly recommend Good Earth staging. Very reasonable pricing compared to others in the current market, and very professional. I will be hiring them again to design our new home soon.
