Bread got moldy way before the expiry date. I still had almost a week to expiry as shown on the sticker. And they reduced to refund.

Exorbitantly priced. I used to purchase blindly since yearss..once I tried to compare prices lately, it was mind boggling. To pricey, but you have lesser choices.

Update 1 - I bought 3 packets of snacks yesterday and two had absolutely no date on them. I didn't notice earlier. It might as well been a year or two old. How would the customer know? They shut off the lights 15 minutes before closing time and you can't read any of the labels because it's so dark. All the pickles and chutneys and biryani mixes all mixed up. At 9:15, they shout "5 minutes." It's crazy. Just like getting off the plane in India. You have worked for 8 hrs why not show some common sense in the last 15 minutes? Now, I have to make another trip because I couldn't find 2 items.

They've improved a lot since COVID hit. The vegetables are now fresh and the items are not expired anymore. Would definitely help of they improve their variety though.Edit: the quality has remained good long after the pandemic got over. They're my go to Indian grocery store now.

Fungus on the snack bought that same day. When I called to ask about it, she said that I should come back (30 min drive) and return the fungus infested food to them the same day else they won’t do anything about it.

These guys close lights on your face from 9:15 though they are supposed to close at 9:30. Besides I have seen these guys shouting on other customer.

Bad customer service at checkout. We asked for three bags. I had to fill up 3 bags of bought items. No help from the staff to fill up soo many items. This is the only grocery store where customers have to fill their bags. Worst customer service. I have never seen this anywhere in California.

As usual and standard store for Indian groceries and Indiaan brands. Not a huge store outlet but almost ALL stuff available here, we Indians desire. This small write up may be useful to a family new to this place.

I go to this market about twice or three times a week. Literally every time I go in there, there is the same cashier that rings me up. The Cashiers name according to the receipt is Gurjeet. Every time she rings me up I greet her I say hello and she doesn't say anything back. She ignores me. She is very standoffish and has a rude demeanor. She doesn't even tell me the total she just looks at me. I ask her for a bag, and every time she throws all of my produce, very roughly in the bag, literally slamming them in there every time. And I'm the kind of person that doesn't say anything in that moment but it does make me very upset. I feel like I am being racially profiled every time I go into the store. They have poor customer service skills. The way that they treat me makes me feel like I am not welcome in their store and I am not welcome to purchase anything in there. I am from another ethnic background, and they are making me feel very unwelcome in their store. All I wanna do is support local markets, and buy fresh produce for my family. Being a minority myself I didn't expect this treatment from a culture I have a deep respect for. I'll just go to the one in Fremont...
