I had an awful experience at the Best Buy in Union City, CA. When I went to pick up my online order, I showed the barcode on my phone's app, but I was still asked for an ID. Strangely, the previous customer wasn't asked for an ID to pick up his items. I've been to other Best Buy stores to pick up online orders and was never asked for an ID because I have the bar code on my app. This inconsistent treatment was frustrating and unnecessary.
After finally receiving my air purifier, which came in a big box impossible to miss, I picked up another item and went to the register to pay for it. The line was long, so I opted for self-checkout using the mobile app. After paying, I walked from the register to the exit, holding my phone to show the receipt to the staff member. Suddenly, a lady came running out of nowhere, asking me if I had gotten the air purifier from the pickup counter. I confirmed, and she backtracked by saying something about me visiting the website to get information on how to use my new product.
Her approach was offensive because the tags on the big box I was holding showing it was a prepaid, online order were very visible. I felt singled out and scrutinized because I look different and this lady assumed I was probably stealing the air purifier. Up until last Saturday, I was a loyal customer, but now I'm not sure if I feel safe visiting your stores. I will probably take my business somewhere else.

Service in this Union store is so so. The associate just wanted to check with customers and went off. He needs to work on his personality as well.

I would give the store at Union City, CA a higher rating, since most people there are great to me and they usually have stock in Magic The Gathering, but I can't because of Gary. Whenever I go to the checkout to buy cards, he is very unhelpful. He once told me he couldn't sell a pack of cards because it was on high demand. Like dude, I know, that's why I'm buying it, who are you saving it for? Then today I asked to see the packs available, and even though I could see the bin with the cards right there he told me they didn't had any. I buy 60-80 bucks of cards every 3 days and now I'll just drive somewhere else to spend my money.

I recently had a frustrating experience with Best Buy's website. I found a product I wanted to purchase, and the website clearly indicated that it was in stock. I placed my order and received a confirmation email. However, later that day, I received another email informing me that my order was canceled because the product was actually out of stock. This was extremely disappointing and inconvenient. The website should provide accurate stock information to avoid situations like this.

Employees are super helpful. However the store inventory data base is not great. I checked before I drove there that the product is available at the store. But when I go there it isn't on the shelf.so I think I just ordered to pick it up at the store. But after waiting over 40min, I was emailed back that the product is not available. So one of nice employees helped me to change my order and deliver it to my home.

Rude people can't find what you are looking for and no one to help you. I thought it was an electronic store but they don't have car stereo stuff. I won't go back.
