Simply the best. Better than all the rest. Better than any market I've previously encountered anywhere in the area. It's a revelation, and it has been seamlessly incorporated into the neighborhood. They have savory pies as well as fruit pies. They have local delicacies that inspire you to achieve greatness on a daily basis. Their beer selection was nominated for several awards, including outstanding selection and price-point articulation. I'm quite certain that shopping here will increase your holiday spirit during the season of giving.

Usually have a really good experience here. Food is good and I usually have nice service. But today that was not what I experienced. The lady at the front desk was rude for no reason as long as she is there I will not be.

This place is fantastic! I wish I would have visited this market more frequently when I lived in the area. I stopped in today on my way to Windsor. The owner was very helpful in helping me find beers. Every beer has been a slam dunk. Great recommendations. The sandwiches are delicious too!

Hidden treasure. So many choices in beers and drinks. The hot food is delicious and changes daily. Sandwich are made from scratch. It is fun to just walk around to see something interesting to buy.

Amazing selection of freshly prepared foods, ranging from Greek (moussaka, grape leaves, orzo salad) to Indian (massive samosas!) to Mexican (taquitos, tamale and enchiladas) with ready made sandwiches available, too! The deviled eggs are classic! They also have fabulous local wines at reasonable prices with grocery and gourmet items (halva, honeycomb and Rancho Gordo beans). And.... pies, cookies, pastries to satisfy your sweet tooth. Yes, it's tempting to spend a lot (I dropped $42 for a nice bottle of wine, 2 deviled eggs, 12 oz of Kale slaw, a beef pie (pasty), 1 MASSIVE samosa - actually the only concern it's almost too big with some greasiness although filling is still tasty, and a bottle of berry Squirt for my sister). WORTH IT! Hidden gem. We were despaired that at 6 pm on a Monday night all of the (lighter) options we were considering after a long day of driving to Willits, then the Mendocino Botanical Gardens and then a jaunt through Boonville, were all closed by 6 pm in Ukiah. This was salvation. The owner at the counter was kind and humble with my enthusiasm of his stock. I swear a Top Chef could build an awesome meal outta what they have here.

Shadi is excellent owner. Goes out of his way to help customers. His mother makes the best pastries and he carries an excellent beer and wine case fully stocked this is ukiah s oldest market

the sandwiches are good... when they get it right which is somehow not very often given the fact that the ingredients you want are in checked that they're actively looking at while making your sandwich. i ordered three sandwiches today and ALL of them were wrong. on one sandwich they added a ton of onion which was not welcome, on the second sandwich i asked for mendo mustard and they put honey mustard and added black olives that were unwanted and my son is allergic to honey and on the third sandwich the bacon that i paid extra for was almost forgotten, the girl making them had glasses, maybe she needs a better prescription.

Fabulous deli with made to order delicious sandwiches made the way you like them. It a favorite stop of ours whenever we're in Ukiah it is undoubtedly the best deli in town. Also the store itself is easy to access and has anything that anyone could want in regards to favorite foods. The best asset is that their stuff is very fresh if not homemade. This is why the Renaissance gets a five star rating. You will love it too, don't miss it on your next trip to Ukiah.
