“BEST MECHANICS EVER!!! I actually can’t find enough positive adjectives to describe my experience with Alex and family at Alvarez Creations! I have a 2014 Camaro that never had any issues. One day it began shaking when I was stopped, violently shaking. It was early 2021, still during Covid. I couldn’t find any mechanics that had time. All they were doing were basics oil, brakes, plugs etc. I had another car so I had time. One mechanic had it 6 weeks and put gas in it and that was it. Finally I was convinced to go to the Dealership. Platinum Chevrolet. (DO NOT GO THERE!! The mechanics don’t understand the working of an engine they only can follow what a computer tells them no real working knowledge!) That’s a separate review! They told me it was some computer $400 then called back and said oh it’s also the ECU. $1200 total. I picked it up on a Sunday got on freeway and all the lights came on, check engine light, loss of power, something about windows… EVERYTHING! I got home and called them and they told me they didn’t really know and it “has a lot of miles and I should expect “… WHAT?? Has 120k .. has been serviced regularly. Only use 91 gas. I didn’t go back. Life happened, we moved, had two family members pass so the car sat until recently. At a car show my husband was given Alex’s name. THANK YOU IMPALA MAN FROM KELSEYVILLE CAR SHOW!! The car was towed over the outside is beautiful but inside full of dust and cobwebs. It was garages but with the top down. (Convertible) Alex immediately found the issue… THE CLUTCH!!… the MAF and MAP sensors (which may be a result of the ECU replacement). They fixed the car in a timely manner… oil change new plugs plus sensors and clutch. Then they detailed the car!!! The interior was all shampooed … engine bay steam cleaned.. entire car waxed!! I just drove it home and it is like a brand new car!!! I also have a 2014 Corvette that I will definitely take to them when needed… she has very low miles but eventually. My local Chevy dealership won’t even do oil changes on Corvettes and they told me they don’t have anyone to even read and understand the computer read outs for Corvettes… what’s up Chevy with your dealerships!!!??

“Great shop, great people. Brought my car in for a shaky steering wheel after hitting a pot hole. Turned out to be a minor alignment problem, which they fixed. Though they had quoted me an hour, they only charged me for 80% of an hour because they said it didn't take the whole time.”
