Called today looking to buy additional X-Strap for a steel building. This is the exact response:
“You bought a steel building somewhere else? Then it sounds like you need to ask somewhere else. Good bye.” *click*
Look, all I wanted was to give them money for a simple product. I don’t refuse jewelry repair work if it was “bought somewhere else”. Absurd, beyond rude, customer service.
You guys do you. I won’t be a customer with any of my business. Thank you for the opportunity to see this ahead of time.
Update: Edited due to response from business owner below.
The literal first thing that I said on my call was that I purchased a building which was shipped to me with out adequate X-strapping material, and that I was looking to buy more if it was available.
The person who picked up the line literally hung up on me after the above quotation.
The explanation you’ve given me is completely adequate, fair and understandable. I didn’t get a chance to given dimensions, material or any other details regarding my needs.
However, I will not be misquoted as if I don’t understand what I needed. I had the engineering plans in front of me. I was literally hung up on by the time I turned two pages.
Thank you though, sincerely, for the offer to help. I reached out to a competitor and purchased the needed materials through them.

These guys were great to work with. They showed up wearing masks, they're friendly and they really know what they're doing. They left the job site very neat and I would definitely recommend this company if you're having any work done on a steel building. I'm very confident in the work they did.
