DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We are very disappointed with our experience working with this company and the dishonest and unprofessional sales rep that facilitated our service.Their sales rep, Sam, grossly underestimated the amount of time and number of people it would take to complete the job. And, more egregiously, after weeks of not returning my call and instead of owning his mistake, he 1) refused to refund us for the additional time it took, and 2) accused my partner of lying about the number of rooms that had to be moved despite knowing we were moving 30 minutes away (in other words, the entire house needed to go) and having gone out and surveyed the property himself. I suggest never doing business with Careful Moving or anyone affiliated with this company. If you choose to do so, all I have to say is be "Careful".

I am so impressed with everyone I've dealt with at Careful Movers. I had an unusual move because I was only moving out for 48 hours and was hoping to store everything either on my balcony or at a neighbor's. Sam outlined all my options, rates, and fees and was kind and informed me of any extra charges so I could budget the move. Cody and Tyler were my movers and I couldn't have asked for better! They were quick and kind and friendly. Moving is a pain and everyone at Careful Movers made it painless! A special thanks to Sam who went up and beyond for me. Can't say enough wonderful things about the whole experience! THANK YOU

We had a great experience with Careful Movers and Storage. I specifically wanted to give them my business because the owner donates time and resources to a community project for the local elderly that recycles durable medical equipment. They handled our stuff with care and actually listened when I requested they not drag anything across the wood floors. I would like to give a special shout out to Robert Smith, who was extra friendly and just generally went above and beyond to be helpful.

Our experience was top notch from the first call to schedule an estimate to the final piece being put in place. We used Careful Moving at the recommendation of the company, FlooringFX, we were using to replace the carpet in our 3 bedrooms. Clearly they recommend them all the time which in itself is a great endorsement. Wyatt was manning the phone/email and was very responsive, informative, easy to work with and friendly. Sam came out to bid the job and he was efficient, knowledgeable and friendly (and his estimate was just about spot on). We had one crew, David and Felix, on the first move day (putting contents of 3 bedrooms into our garage which included breaking down bed frames and a desk) and they were great. We then had Cody and Tyler on the second day to move/reassemble everything. All four were skilled, careful (they live up to their name!) and just really nice guys. Our desk is a weird, non-standard one and I didn't have the assembly instructions, but they figured it out just using their logic/knowledge. And we had a really tall piece that was hard to navigate but they strategized and did it without chipping any walls/paint. Very grateful to all for their awesome work. Side note...Wyatt was super flexible with scheduling. We had to postpone last minute twice due unforeseeable circumstances and he was nothing but gracious and accommodating. Delightful experience using Careful Moving & Storage!

My husband and I moved from San Bruno, California to Santa Rosa, California. Sam, from Careful Moving, came from Santa Rosa to San Bruno in person and gave us an estimate. That is above and beyond customer service. The movers, on moving date, Roy, Nate, and Jameal, were amazing, hardworking, and very careful with our furniture. They were at the San Bruno house at the promised time The next day, Roy and Nate, came to Santa Rosa to deliver our furniture at the promised time. They were again hardworking and very careful with our furniture. Again amazing! They placed the furniture where we requested. My husband and I can't say enough good things about Careful Moving and the hardworking and careful movers they have. We were very pleased from beginning to end. Thank you Careful Movers!! If you need movers, hire Careful Movers!!

Cody and Troy were amazingly helpful and friendly for our moving process and I can't be more thankful! These guys are worth AT LEAST $25/hr if not more I hope they're being paid fairly.

The office staff is good, but that is where it stops. Subpar move in January 2022. These delights awaited us when I got into our storage unit: Tables taken apart and thrown into a storage locker - not wrapped and placed on a concrete floor; bed disassembled and thrown up against the wall, nothing attached; heavy furniture placed on top of fragile boxes (marked); and, bicycles thrown on top like a junk heap. Has this crew ever done a move before??? Totally half-assed the entire move. When my sofa was moved they managed to gouge the molding in the kitchen - they did it in front of me and shrugged their shoulders and laughed. (I had to sand, prime, and paint over their mistake). This is service? The second part of the move required delivering some items (which I marked with a vibrant colored tape) to a short-term rental. The foreman tried to put that off until the next day when it had been all arranged in great detail with office staff. He huffed and puffed that he had to do the actual entire job. Then, of course, we were missing about 8 items, clearly marked for the rental. It was impossible to retrieve these items as they buried them under heavier items. I really think they are one of the most unprofessional moving companies.

The team at Careful Movers just helped us move a full house over 100 miles. The loading crew was on time, super pleasant, very careful with our belongings, and worked hard to get everything into the truck perfectly. The crew that came to unload were enthusiastic, communicative, and got our mountain of belongings into the house in what felt like a blink of an eye. Sam was great to communicate with, and the estimate was honest and fair. I highly recommend this team for your next move!

We hired Careful Moving and Storage to load our moving truck on 4/24/2021. They had previously moved some items from our home and put them in storage and brought those items back and loaded them onto the moving truck on 4/23/2021. Up until this point we had a great experience with them. However for some reason the movers installed the bulkhead divide in the center of the truck, and continued to load the rest of our items on 4/24, thus leaving significant dead space on the moving truck. We weren't aware of this until after the movers left on 4/24, saying they could not not fit all of our items on the truck. I thought I hadn't bought a big enough truck and was devastated we were going to have to leave behind our belongings. My son climbed up in the truck and documented the large amount of dead space in the center of the truck that was the reason that our items didn't fit. After many frantic calls to Careful Moving they unpacked and repacked the truck on 4/26, however they did not pack the truck well, causing the documented damage to the items. We provided many tie downs and blankets that were not used to protect and secure our furniture. See attached photos of bulkhead issue and damaged items. I asked "careful" moving to compensate us for the damage, which totaled about $1k. They refused, blaming everything under the sun for their poor packing and management, never acknowledging their awful behavior and damage to my homes items. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and they tried to seek resolve, however Careful moving again refused. If you hire these guys, you do so at your own risk and expense. We paid them close to $4k for professional movers and we weren't being unreasonable asking for them to repair the items they damaged. They're not responsible or careful in the slightest, a couple of high school kids would have been more professional. I can't help but wonder if these positive reviews aren't real.

We really appreciated all support we got, from the initial phone call to follow up phone call to move out. Our movers were Felix, Rasheed and David. They had us moved out in less than 2 hours, faster than estimated, and were conscientious and respectful with us, our children and our property.

My husband and I needed movers primarily to move our large furniture from our rental to our new home about 2 miles away. After calling 3 other moving companies, I felt Careful Moving was the most honest with timing and had the best pricing. I was able to easily set up a day and time as well (and keep in mind they are busy! So call ahead). On the day of the move, two young gentleman, Roy and Nick, showed up on time (even called when they were on the way), and first thing they asked was for an overview of what needed to be moved. They then carefully and efficiently proceeded to move all our things into their truck. We wanted our mattresses and box springs covered too and they did that without hesitation. After loading all our items they took a quick lunch and met us at our new home. Roy and Nick were courteous the whole time and I have no complaints whatsoever. It was a great and easygoing experience!

We had a tricky move with things going to three separate locations in Rohnert Park. The team showed up on time and were quick, careful and just delightful to work with! Everything arrived as directed, in one piece and without a scratch on it! I would definately recommend these guys to anyone moving! Can't beat the price either! I first used this company over 30 years ago when it was called Bastian's Moving. I have since used them several more times to move me. This most recent move on 1/26/21 was great. The movers, Roy & Cody, were so professional, pleasant, quick and went above and beyond. I have recommended these movers to other people.

When I first called Wyatt answered the phone. Very friendly, and knowledgeable. I set my appointment to move within a few days. They were able to make the move possible with little to no advanced notice. My movers were Rasheed, Alan and Troy. They showed up on time, did a walk through, set a plan and hustled. Awesome team... they had me moved within 5 hours from start to finish. I moved from a 3 bedroom townhouse that sits on the 2nd and 3rd floors, to a 2 bedroom on the ground floor across town. They were efficient, friendly and careful. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat. Absolutely would love the same team as well. You guys are the best.. Cheers to a great New Year to you all!!!
