“Listen. It's a liquor store in 29 palms at the mouth of a military base. There weren't any crazy people outside or intoxicated humans stumbling around in the parking lot. The staff was friendly. The store was clean and they had a decent selection of wine, especially for the middle of nowhere. You're not gonna find anything organic here, but it drinks and helps you get your buzz on. Loads of late night and road trip snacks full of hydrogenated oils and added sugars but that's what this place is. It's fine, stop and get yourself a 40 and enjoy.”

“Have not been there since 2019. When I had to go to the MARINE BACE 29 PALMS to deliver stuff always stopped at Youngs on the way back to the yard most of the time the sandwich was so good it didn't make it to the 10 fwy! A lot of the time I would have to get 2 just to bring back home to the family the sandwiches are that good!!!!”

“you ever think you’re in great shape to fix your own flat tire and get your spare going and then realized you’re completely hosed? That happened to us today. And some angel pops out from the store connected to this gas station and helps us plug the flat take care of business. I can’t say it could happen for you if you’re in trouble here but this was sure a good place for us to be in trouble today. Thanks to the angel with the tools.”
