They have the basics stocked to get the job done. They are out of stock of some items frequently, so you’ll have to check back weekly. But there are supply chain issues everywhere.
The commissary app does not reflect the accuracy of their items in stock, so do not depend on the app for this. I shop here for common pantry items I go through weekly, and I’ll shop at other stores for speciality items and brands.
Staff are always friendly and welcoming. The commissary is always clean and organized.

Really great store. The workers are the best! Store is always clean and you can find what you are looking for nearly all of the time. You can also order things in bulk you just have to ask. Ms. Nicole helps me other my plantains. Her & her produce team are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend & I’ll return.

Great prices on produce and other items, but I can’t say the same about freshness.

This is a grocery store on a military base which means you must show identification to enter. To be eligible for grocery shopping individuals must be veterans or active duty service members.

USMC Veteran- I used to work at the Commissary. Terrible place to work. The meat manager allowed old meat to be rewrapped if it didn’t sell, the employees were constantly having issues with managers bullying them, expired items were left on the shelf, and employees were given a hard time if they took the time to clear those items. The commissary won’t listen to good employee input so they’ll receive trucks of goods even though entire pallets might be missing. HQ has unrealistic expectations, changing the store layout and products constantly so there’s no consistency for the Marines and Sailors. They had 13 pallets of rotting chicken stored in their coolers and freezers that they ultimately had to destroy because they never marked it down and over-ordered. The meat department had racks and racks of old frozen meat that had to be thrown away after I reported they were rewrapping it, and after I refused to participate. Some of that old meat, like gray ribeyes, we’re going into the grind. The Army Veterinary (Inspectors) are worthless because they are only concerned about their appearance; if you report something, they get mad because it’s something they should have caught, but didn’t.DeCA is only interested in their own bureaucracy and weirdly trying to make a profit despite their government status. This place could be great if it were completely overhauled and allow the base to have more oversight, and bring in County inspectors independently instead of Army. There’s NO WAY the Commissary could pass a health inspection based on County standards.
