“Wow! This place had such a great warmth about it. I sensed it also by the taste of their food. The deviled eggs were amazing. I took those home and the jalepeno poppers, for a night in with my wife at Paxton Lodge. I put the poppers in the toaster oven on 325 for about 16 mins, they were extremely fresh and tasty! My wife and I ordered breakfast on our way out and some sweets to take home to the kids (I ended up eating them before I got home). The breakfast sandwich on sourdough was a good portion, eggs were yokey and bacon was thick. It was all A+ including the lemon cake, cookie nut balls, breakfast burrito. Thank you for taking my call early and having my order ready to go and freshly made. Note: This town suffered from a recent fire. “I’ve been buying Riley’s Jerky since the late ‘70’s, early ‘80’s. I could only find it in the camp market at Twain, CA., now I can order it on line and enjoy the best jerky in the WORLD!! I even made an order before their website went down due to the DIXIE FIRE that destroyed Greenville. That’s how much I like this company and having talked to a couple of the generations of owner/operators, I can tell you that they are good, honest people dedicated to producing the best product that they can! God bless them for rebuilding after the fire leveled their facility and bring back the BEST JERKY IN THE WORLD! No sugar, just meat and so much flavor!!!”

“Was in area for Feather Fest whitewater festival, and found this co-op. Nice selection of products, fresh, frozen, and prepared food. And the cashier even caught a pricing error on something I purchased that was going to charge me way too much. Would definitely shop here regularly if I was local and will be back next time I’m in the area. ?? ??”

“The Safeway in Quincy, it's probably one of the best examples of what Safeway started with and is still dealing with their butcher department is really friendly and always they give you a tip, even cooking tips, the vegetables and fruit are always impeccable. There's never any crates of anything standing around, it's always well stocked and maintained. There is always someone working the vegetables there, and so you never have to worry about it. Being fresh, they have great bathrooms in the back. So if you're driving in from Reno, like I do all the time. That bathroom is real handy. Thanks for leaving it open for us. And also the hot food service people in the back there are terrific and they really go out of their way to make sure that you get exactly what you want, and that it's what you really are looking for to e.
