Bad Verizon cell and home internet coverage, limited 5g/LTE eg 2mb download speed all day, area code 92604 or 92606. Working from home was tough with constant video conference/FaceTime call drops. See screenshot.
Notified and wanted to close the account within 3 days of opening but was told by my rep Ruby to wait and try for a couple weeks.
Closed the account within a month of activation.
Billed for services that were never provided. Offered to buy the iphones outright but verizon phones are locked for 2 months. Paid $50 per each iphone for stocking fee.
Still get bills from Verizon after the account is closed. Reps in the store can’t help. Called Verizon multiple times said they would take care of it. Will to go to FCC to get their attention. Meanwhile credit has been hit.

Store has stolen my trade-in phones and I have been going back and forth for MONTHS while still getting billed extra. I opened a new line in September, gave them my phone in store, sent in my fiancés' through UPS as she was also on the new line, got our new phones, and never got my credit for the trade-ins. When we got our second bill, I noticed I was being charged for Game+ and the protection plan when I specifically said NO when asked if I wanted them while opening my account. I have spent over 6 hours in the last 3 months trying to find out where my phones are. After calling in several times, they finally said they received the one I sent in through UPS, but I went in store last month after finding my in store trade-in was never sent in and was told they do not have record of me returning my phone. After being told to wait for the manager, I left to get a phone call from Omar, the store manager, and said they found my phone in the back room and was never processed. He said he would return the phone and I would get credits, but was still charged an extra $100 right before Christmas. The manager has said "no need to worry, we will take care of this" every single month and yet I am still being charged.

This store did the worst and stole my old phone when I tried to do a trade in. The manager was no help and now I'm stuck paying for a new phone when the phone I traded in was paid off. Please don't go here

Writing a review on behalf of my boyfriend who came here and said that the team was unhelpful, provided more questions than answers, and didn't offer any solutions to existing problems my boyfriend had. He wanted to get off his mom's plan to be on his own account. We saw so many plans online that offered Hulu/Disney plus bundles for unlimited data plans and they said "this plan is no longer available" when it's STILL advertised online as an option. I would definitely go to a more attentive verizon store.

After being put through the ringer at a third-party Verizon store on Alton Pkwy, I left to see if the actual store new what they were doing and if they could actually get a phone for my uncle that was usable. (see review on their page) I came to the District location and Kyle helped me out. Needless to say, this was probably one of the best Verizon experiences I have had. He was efficient, knowledgeable, and got me in and out with a working, new phone in 30 minutes. All the staff was friendly. It was a great experience, thank you Kyle!

Having used the Verizon service for more than two decades now I've never seen such an unprofessional, lazy and incompetent staff as Jason and Omar. This guy Jason looks totally checked out and indifferent about his job and customers. I was at the store to upgrade two of my lines but for whatever reason he said he is unable to do it because there's an issue with the system and said I have to Verizon myself to resolve the issue, repeatedly saying "I'm just a sales guy." When I asked for other options such as paying for the new phone in cash he said he would have a manager come talk to me and then disappeared to the back of the store, leaving me there waiting for 30 minutes. The manager never showed up so I asked other staff to talk to one. When the store manager named Omar finally showed up he said he wasn't aware of this and told me he would put me back in line so I can wait again for a different salesperson and start all over whereas he was walking around, chatting with people about random stuff and cracking jokes. He was not any more helpful as he told me to come back the next day if I don't have time to wait longer. At that point I left the store knowing these people are useless and uninterested in helping me. I'll never come back to this store.

I don't normally write reviews unless the experience really impacted me. After being with AT&T for over a decade, I decided to switch over to Verizon because I heard good things about their service coverage. I had no issues with AT&T. I just wanted to try something different. Here's a BRIEF summary of my experience with Verizon: I made the switch on 9/10, and on 9/21, I decided to cancel my contract. I understand how Big Business works. But as business continues to grow, so do the customer needs. It's difficult dealing with multiple people and having to reiterate your issue. If I am being honest, customer service (on the phone) was very frustrating to deal with. I had to talk to so many different people. Some were helpful, but there was 1 or 2 individuals that gave me the impression they just wanted me out of their queue. In the course of 3 days, I spent over 4 hours talking to a customer service agent. The last agent I spoke to redirected me to a "porting department" in which they could not transfer me over to. I had to dial out, but get this- it was the number to a Medical Device company (wish I was joking! Verizon Corp, if you're reading this, Pull up my account, call are recorded, right?). I had to jump through hoops before Amal finally provided a resolution for me. Amal's service went above and beyond. Honestly, had I just gone in-store to set everything up. I wouldn't have canceled with Verizon. You know what's funny? I was on the phone with customer service when they actually told me that I could leave the store. They even went on to say, "they can't help you." Amal figured out the impossible! I don't know how, but I'm sure glad he did. I know we're moving toward a "virtual" work space/community, and online shopping/delivery is a convenience. But there's something about customer service and handling an issue in-person vs. on the phone. There is more human connection and empathy. It's a different vibe when you're on the phone. The other person can't see your facial expression or hand gestures. It makes it more difficult to empathize. Again, Verizon Corp:, if you're curious about my case, reach out to me and look up my account. I'm sure your reps left detailed notes. I just wanted to give another shout out to you, Amal, for helping me figure this out. It's on unfortunate terms, but nevertheless- I appreciate you being genuine and figuring out something Corporate couldn't!

Do not buy from this store. The most unprofessional manager who will lie and deceit you to start the whole process and will runs your credit multiple time. These people are very rude and worst kind of sales man. The manager should be fired as he is a disgrace to Verizon and community the way he treat people by his lies. Do not go to this store if you don’t want to be abused. They truly suck
