This is the only place you need to go. I was helping out a friend to sell some gold that she had inherited and Ali was not only a pleasure to work with, but also gave me the best price by far after visiting three other shops.This is probably the third yelp review I've ever done in my life. That is how much I recommend them.

I was guided to this shop to get some information on buying gold and silver. My intuition led me into this shop. When I first walked in I was greeted immediately and kindly. I felt so comfortable and no pressure to make a purchase after the guidance I received. I definitely will be bringing people into this shop and will be making my first purchase here! The personal connection here is real and he even told me to do my own due diligence to make sure that I purchase right. The trust has been created and that is very important when making financial decisions such as buying precious metals to keep wealth within the family. This place is very special. The staff is very well educated on gold bouillon and other precious metals. Special shout out to Lamont who is always helpful! They also have coins, jewelry and can give quotes on value and change watch batteries. They are next to the Dana Point post office and easy to walk in and ask questions.

What a pleasant surprise to pop into our local coin shop! I had the pleasure of meeting Ali and Lamont and had the most incredible visit to such a beautiful store. The ease of parking impressed me from the start. Nice location! The sparkling clean minimalist decor sets the perfect backdrop for the precious metals. My daughter and I were instantly impressed. Ali helped us and answered my many questions. I appreciate all that I learned about sound money and this industry. It's a crucial time for us all to look into other investment options. We will be back and I am thankful we tried something new!

Such an enjoyable shopping experience at Royal Gold Group. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome and exceptional customer service. Both Lamont and Ali went above and beyond. Such an array of beautiful items to choose from including, but not limited to: silver, gold, bullion, coins, antique notes and jewelry. Royal Coin is such a wonderful coin and jewelry shop.
The owners are so nice, knowledgeable, and most importantly, honest to deal with.
One of the owners checked out my son’s coin collection for him and it was a fun experience. He also saw some unique coins that he wants to save up for.
The store itself is very clean and everything is clearly displayed and organized. They also seem to be able to do everything related to coins, jewelry, and watches.
I also liked how regardless of business hours, they can work by appointment, which made things easy for my schedule.
There is plenty of parking too, which is always a bonus in OC!
Overall, we would happily come back to Royal Coin to evaluate, buy or sell our coins or jewelry anytime!
