I am writing this today as it is the year anniversary of our move with the Right Movers. For a year now, Tim and Martina have been stringing us along on reimbursing us for the damage they did to our last property. Their movers caused over $1,000 in damage. For a few months, they looked like they wanted to help and would reply to emails. Eventually, they just stopped responding and never paid us back. Needless to say, I would not recommend anyone use their services.

The right movers are the "WRONG MOVERS". Do not hire this company! They were going to move us on a Sunday and be here at 10:00. They did not show up. We got a text that they would not be able to make it that day. REALLY!!! A new move date was set for the next Wednesday. They were going to be here at 9:30 (and the owner even said he would be here so that nothing could go wrong). At 9:35 on Wednesday, the morning of the move, they let us know they could not move us again. And they did not even have the decency to call us (either time), we had to hear it from our realtor. This is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to use. What they don't realize is that I am a customer service and sales trainer. They will now be front and center of every client I see as an example of the worst customer service ever! WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVE!!!!!

I hired Right Movers off the recommendations from our neighborhood Face Book page. Martina was helpful and was prompt to respond with any questions I had regarding our move. The day of the move started great, the guys were on time, packed mostly everything, and got to our new home in a timely manner. Unfortunately that is when things went south. The lead on the job and myself had a discussion as to getting the refrigerator through the doorway. He asked if handles could be removed, I requested they remove the doors so no damage would occur. The lead and helper decided to not listen to my request and forcibly pushed my fridge through the doorway, causing damage to my doorway, flooring, and refrigerator. To make things worse, they did not say anything about it and moved on to another room of unloading. When I walked back in and saw the damage I brought it to the leads attention and he said that he would let his office know of the damages occurred and I would just need to follow up with the office for the claims end. They also fully disassembled a bed frame and could not reassemble correctly and lost some of the screws. At the end of the move, the lead stated that he was going to call the office to let them know they were done and to give the damage information. He came back into our home and again apologized for the damage they caused and to follow up with the office. They seemed to be truthful so I thanked them and gave them a very nice tip.
Well then the real headache began. Once the office finally called me back, the office is not open on weekends, but does not state online or voicemail that they are unavailable, they told me the lead made no comment of the damage they caused. Tim, the owner emailed me stating he would have his employee come back to paint the damaged doorway and to glue our floor. After speaking to him on the phone he requested I get a quote for the replacement of the damaged flooring on 04-11-2024. The estimate was done 04-16-2024, no response from Tim until 04-19-2024 and at that time he stated he needed (3) total estimates and he would arrange it. I am still waiting on this to occur. I had to hire a painter to patch, sand, and repaint the doorway. The least the owner can do is cover the cost of the damaged flooring. I haven't even asked them about how they would rectify the refrigerator damage. April 25th was the last contact from Tim, I sent day last follow up 9-2 and still no response.
If Tim can stick to his word and make things right then I will update this review, but at this time I would say proceed with caution and keep close eyes on the employees as I should have stood there to make sure they did as I requested and remove the fridge doors before moving it through the doorway. (The previous owner had an oversized fridge in the same spot and their movers had no issues getting it out of the space)

We requested Right Movers provide us with 3 strong people, and a truck to assist in moving our large, heavy items from our old home in Fullerton to our new home in Yorba Linda. After an Facetime interview and walk through our house, we were provided with an estimate. They moved everything carefully, and only managed to break one item, a 24" dia. catch saucer that went under a large plant. They placed all the items where we requested, and carefully assembled the beds and other items that required disassembly to move. It took a total of 6 hours to move, down from the 8 hours that was in the initial estimate, and they adjusted the price to reflect the real moving costs. The office manager,Martina Kaplan, did some research and found a replacement for the broken item within the allowance they quoted for it, and we are very pleased with the quality of the overall move.

The movers were okay, but the management was awful and overcharged me compared to the estimate. I wouldn't recommend them.

Adrian & crew receive my highest rating, which is i will use them again. Good communication prior to move. No guessing if the crew will be on time. Polite, friendly with strong backs. There is a science to loading trucks and they know it. No damage in transport.

Big shoutout to Art, Ben, and Liu at Right Movers for the wonderful job they did for us. Had everything wrapped up, loaded and delivered on schedule. Totally professional and caring. They work extremely well together and were very pleasant. This was our second experience with Right Movers. Very happy customer here!

DO NOT HIRE! I would give zero stars This was the-most nightmarish move of our lives! After over 20 moves between my husband and I in our lifetime this was by far the worst experience! Excuses, defensive and a poor business man cannot manage his company he does not deserve your business. His mantra on his website is not truthful. He promised to pay for and reimburse us fully to cover severely damaged and destroyed items. Our totals about $5k and that was conservative, we didn't even charge labor or our time to sit around and wait on deliveries after over a week of waiting on him and laundry piling up clothes everywhere with no dresser drawers to put them in. The entire move was so unprofessional. We were promised 4 movers 3 showed and then one came 3 hours later to help. They were behind and probably rushing since they said they had another job after ours. One of his staff was acting erratically and was found riding our daughters bike in circles in the parking "lot, the two of the staff were checking out my husbands personal pictures in his office and spinning on his office chair, multiple times we asked them to be careful and had to watch them like a hawk. Running into door jams , not careful with all our items , footprints all over our things. I sped. Two hours cleaning their greasy dirty handprints and cleaning and vacuuming our furniture, walls, staircase that was not cared for properly. Adding insult to injury we reported all of this and all the damages immediately to the lead and it was all acknowledged and recorded, pictures taken included. After not hearing from the owner for days ( we thought we would expect a call based on the reported damages and destruction) he finally responded and agreed to come to our home. He viewed all the damages and admitted he had an issue with one of the staff prior. He stated he thought he may have been drinking on the job. Yet he still had him on our move! He stated he could not understand multiple things they did or didn't do including strapping down our 10 k mattresses in half ( it is clear in the pictures) it is ruined and cannot be used as it is reversible. They did not cover or protecting out items properly. Tim proceeded to look at our dryer which we could not use as it was smoking and severely damaged( this is why he finally came out after I complained I smelled smoke and rubbing noises never heard before and contacted the gas company before using) . Tim tried to fix it for hours, and using iTunes videos he showed me ! I was so concerned and nervous I told him to stop and then he admitted we needed a new dryer and told us to order one plus all the items damaged. He asked if we wanted him to pick one up but couldn't do it until possibly the next day and deliver it on the evening. Not trusting him or his word he gave us the option to order it too. After after his non response for two days saying he was busy , we did order it ourselves. He told us to Submit all the receipts for reimbursement. These pictures are only a sample of the damages done. Now after 7 weeks of waiting, sick of delays, excuses , non responses ( a full two weeks of non response from him and his company regarding all the receipts and damages submitted. Now he claims to only offer us 50% and NOT for all the items damaged. He even had the nerve to state they did not damage our bed who hos own worker admitted it was damaged and Tim saw it and said the same! He states he told us this among other lies. If you feel your hard earned money for your purchase of items years ago are worth 50% today to fully replace them he is the mover for you. If you value your items and want an honest reputable man and company who cares and can communicate timely, do not hire his company. My husband and I feel his staff turnovers and poor recent reviews are a direct reflection of the company he is running. We even were so nice to the guys buying pizza and sodas for their lunch, we tried to work with Tim but we were tired of his promises, excuses, and finally his refusal to reimburse us properly.

The worst experience of my life. 8.5 months pregnant, scheduled my move well in advance and received TWO confirmation phone calls the day prior. Move was supposed to happen at 9am, then I was asked if noon would be ok. I agreed as it gave me an few extra hours in the morning to finish things up. At noon I'd received ZERO communication so I started calling and of course no one answered. Around 1 I received a phone call from one of the movers himself letting me know they'd be there at 5:30PM!?! Obviously I flipped out--I emailed the company and FINALLY received a call back from Joy, the woman who was scheduling me all along, and all I got was an apology. The movers finally showed up at 7:30PM and they moved us through the night. The compensation I was given was to waived the $25 shrink wrap fee. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you need to be out for certain on a specific date. It wasn't cheap and caused me a lot of unnecessary stress.

I'm honestly very impressed by the way they work. They made the process run so smoothly. They're so careful of your things and they make sure to wrap and carry your belongings carefully. Fernando was one of the guys that helped and he was so friendly. Would highly recommend. Very professional and will be using them again in the future.
