This is the best local record shop. Tom, the owner, is friendly and great to chat with. The items are reasonably priced based on condition, and you can find anything record-related too. It's addictive!!

Great experience walking in and very comfortable just window shopping. Good for just wanting a place to just breathe and live a rare experience that isn't common anymore which is being in a record store. But I was passing by the area and noticed the record store from my car so decided to pass by and visit it. As I have never been there. Walked in the gentlemen in the counter I'm guessing the owner very kind very helpful to help me search for particular records. Although I didn't purchase this time as I only went to look, I might go back as he has great collection and diverse genres of records. Appreciated my experience not rushed or judged. Calming to be frank.

Who would have thought this gem was in Old Town Tustin? It's funny because with their name "Rasta Cowboy", you just figure the owner should have dreadlocks (which he doesn't). The store reminds me of the great old used and new record stores of the old days (anyone remember Music Market in Costa Mesa)? Eclectic but excellent selection of items. The owner, Tom, has a good knack for bringing in albums you would want to buy yourself. The prices are very fair - some downright cheap. By the way, he does buy old albums in good condition. Bring them in and he'll let you know what he would like to buy and give you immediate payment. We were able to sell off a large number of 70s and 80s music for a fair price.

Was visiting a friend in Irvine (I live in NYC) and wanted to do some record shopping in Cali, as the record stores in NYC are pretty picked over. I got a LOT of great finds, including some albums I didn't expect to see. Unfortunately, the After Hours record I picked up for $30 had a pretty severe error. The album had two copies of Disc 2 inside, missing the entire first half of the album. I usually examine the records themselves before purchasing to check for any errors, but I most likely wouldn't have noticed this in the store as I didn't notice it until I started playing it on my turntable, and I don't think it was an intentional error on the owner's part. Overall just disappointed it wasn't inspected properly given the price I paid for it.I feel 3 stars is appropriate given that I had a pleasant shopping experience and no issues with the other vinyl I purchased!

I had come here some years ago pre-pandemic but wanted to leave a comment that this is my favorite record shop in OC! I was driving down the street one day and it's amazing how a name of a store can suck you right in!
