Pet Care
Veterinary Neurology Center
3051 Edinger Ave, TustinAfter calling so many places between California, Arizona & even Mexico I was so grateful to come across Veterinary Neurology Center. When I initially called, Michelle was super helpful and friendly. She was able to get my boy Crixus scheduled to be seen. We met with Dr. Dillard, she was very kind, thorough and explained everything to me, sadly a few things she had to explain a couple of times. The stress was not helping in retaining anything she said. While I do not wish to have to see Dr. Dillard again, for the sake of my boy and his health, I am glad to have found a vet that I like. She seems very good at what she does and truly cares. She explained my options and I decided to move forward with MRI & tap testing. We are now anxiously awaiting results. The office was clean, everyone we encountered was super friendly. The cost was fair. I had prepared myself for far worse and was pleasantly surprised that it was on the lower end of what I had found online for "average" costs. The location was easy to get too and there was ample parking. Should my boy need to continue with a neurologist, we will definitely make the needed trek out to see Dr. Dillard.

Animal Dermatology Clinic
2965 Edinger Ave, TustinAbsolutely wonderful experience. Dr. Mendelsohn was amazing. She explained all of the issues in very clear and understandable language. She also has a very holistic approach that properly values pharmaceuticals while considering their potential impact on the body's immune system. Staff was equally outstanding and, as always, all charges were clearly explained and quite reasonable - especially considering the treatment and work done.

Tustin Legacy Animal Hospital
15100 Kensington Park Dr Ste 520, TustinAs I'm waiting for Spookys test results, I decided to take a min. to leave a review because I've never felt so calm and reassuring of a place more than Tustin Legacy. As you walk in it's the cutest place, very warm and welcoming they had spookys room ready and on the door they had a welcome sign for him with a spooky house/a ghost and a spider web?. From staff to the vet not once did I feel pressured to paying for things I didn't want. They give you a few options and you chose what you want done. I have found his forever hospital.

Veterinary Surgical Specialists
2965 Edinger Ave, TustinYears ago, I met Dr. Craig after a board-certified surgeon in San Diego abandoned a case that had a lot of complications. I did agility with my dogs and Dr. Craig was highly recommended by several people. Dr. Craig was conservative on treatment and the dog recovered. Years later, my dog needed a surgery consult and I trust Dr. Craig. Dr. Craig was very detailed and honest. Dr. Craig recommended to wait and if if the issue got worse. About 7 months later, the issue got worse so I asked a few RVTS in Temecula who they would recommend. Those RVTS recommended a mobile surgeon in San Diego and also a Veterinary Surgical Specialist. The mobile surgeon is great but he won't do this type of surgery as he told me it needs to be done at a specialty hospital due to the risk of complications. For a surgery that needs to be done by a board-certified surgeon, I would trust the mobile vet and Dr. Craig. I post an update if a surgery happens........

Home Pet Euthanasia of Southern California
360 E First St #109, TustinHome Pet Euthanasia is a thorough and caring in-home euthanasia service. You can tell from the amount of time and effort put into their website. I appreciate the page that covers pet pain as pain manifests differently in pets, and can go unnoticed by the untrained eye. Dr. Annie and her team have certainly gone out of their way to make sure pet owners are educated on the process of euthanasia, and are as prepared as possible to help provide a peaceful passing for their pet.

Animal Diagnostic Laboratory - Lab For Pets
15052 Red Hill Ave Ste E, TustinAfter suddenly and very unexpectedly losing our young cat, we reached out to Lab for Pets and were able to bring him to the facility on the same day for necropsy (postmortem) services. The pathologist was very kind, communicative and transparent about the entire process (our first time going through this type of process). The final lab report was emailed to us and I received a phone call from the pathologist on the same day the report was emailed, where he spent time explaining the findings and making the report easier to understand. The pathologist also offered guidance and recommendations for the surviving littermate, given the results. The remains were then Fed Ex'ed overnight to us because we live in a different county and so we wouldn't have to drive back up to get them. They were beautifully and thoughtfully packaged as well. A lot of love seemed to go into that final part. I would very much recommend Lab for Pets for their necropsy and other services. They are professional and caring, especially during a very emotional process such as this. Thanks again

VCA Animal Hospitals Urgent Care - Tustin
631 E 1st St, TustinI have been here for 2 different urgent care needs for my sweet girl Stella. The location is great! It's amazingly clean and welcoming! Their check in and payment process is super easy and quick. The staff is top notch! The Vet was so patient with her and explaining everything to me. They were so good with handling her and her nervous energy. I had to get her leg wrapped for an injury. The Vet, Dr. Ahn came out to demo the wrap. One of the nurses sent me a video so I could also see it step by step. By the time we were leaving Stella was so comfortable with all the staff she was playing around with them while I was getting all her paperwork and meds. I cannot thank this team enough for how they treated Stella and I. Sometimes it's hard finding a Vet office that can be patient with Stella, she gets very nervous and jumpy at the vets office. You all are angels, I appreciate all of you so much. Highly, highly recommend this place when you need urgent care services!

Echo Vet Cardio
2965 Edinger Ave, TustinI drive all the way from San Pedro to see Dr. Jung. My Vet referred me to him. They are so Professional. It was a hospital for animals. It looked like a human hospital. I was so impressed. When we went to sign in, they already knew our fur babies name. They even had his name on the room door. That made us so happy and we felt special. My Spanky is 16 years old and has Congested Heart Failure. Mr. Jung was so warm and inviting and so is his staff. They made Spanky and I so relaxed and happy. He took several test for him. He put Spanky on 3 medications. He is doing so much better than the first day we came in. We have had to adjust the medications. But, Spanky is still kicking. When I call for appointments or advice they are so warm and caring. They go way out of their way to make you feel special. Thank you, Echo Vet Cardio!

Animal Dental Services
3029 Edinger Ave, TustinMy 14 year old chihuahua had an infected carnassial tooth and a slightly mobile canine tooth, which caused her sudden swelling and a visit to the vet. Our vet gave her antibiotics for the infection but communicated to me that in time the infection would return. He recommended extraction, but due to her age and the required anestesia, he referred me to a specialist for the surgery. He assured me that Dr. Van Nice at ADS was someone he really trusted. I have been taking my dog to our vet, Dr. Fanous in Newport Beach, for over 10 years so I really trust his expertise and opinion. I called ADS and made an appointment. Honestly, I was terrified of the possibility that there could be a complication. I overthink everything and I started to panic that she could die during surgery (ridiculous, I know). However, I knew that I would feel worse to let her deal with the pain and sensitivity she was experiencing for the past few weeks. I made the decision to go through with the surgery. Bella had 8 teeth removed, due to loose and rotting teeth mostly in the back of her mouth. This was all explained to me at her consultation, where they were able to examine her and give me an overview of what to expect. On the day of the surgery, I was updated throughout the process and that gave me some relief, as I was very worried and stressed. It has been 6 months since Bella's surgery and she is so happy. She is back to being playful and does not look miserable or sad anymore. I wish I would have done the surgery sooner. If anyone is reading this wondering if they should take the risk- I highly recommend this team of professionals to help your pet have a better quality of life. Thank you so much Animal Dental Services! I am so grateful for your help.

Golden Days Pet Services
1443 Georgia St, TustinMichael is great with all the dogs and all of the employees seem to genuinely love each of the animals. This is the only place I’ve ever left any of my dogs where they almost seem to want to stay there instead of coming back home with me. The home is set up in a manner that caters to the animals and along with whichever other pets might be staying there at the time, Michael’s dog Bella is such a sweetheart and you can rest assured your dog has a friend with them at almost any time whether they prefer another 4-legged friend or a human companion to pass the time while they eagerly await your return. I would recommend Golden Days to anyone who needs somewhere safe and fun for their pet to stay whether you’ll be gone for just the day or you’re taking a long vacation but can’t bring your pet along with you. Give this place a try whether you need it or not, your pet will love it and will thank you for taking them somewhere special.

The Parlor at Stafford Prime
15771 Red Hill Ave ste 100b, TustinThis is the best pizza I've ever had and I've been to Italy, lived in NYC so I think I have pretty high standards. The key is they use such fresh ingredients and pay such close attention to detail with their style of cooking. I've been here 3 times already and have ordered: Fiori e Limone Pizza ($18) - texture of the squash blossoms is amazing mixed with generous amounts of fior di latte. The lemon is something you'd never expect but it goes so so well Margherita ($16) - again, generous fresh portions of fior di latte. It's my go-to Margherita pizza and I've tried Sal's, Brooklyn's finest, Fuoco, and that neopolitan pizza place in CDM that's recognized by the neopolitan pizza society and this still takes the cake! Clams Linguini ($20) - egg noodles with lots of clams, my husband said "I could drink a whole bowl of this broth". Well seasoned, but would've preferred a bucatini or sturdier pasta. Maybe I'll ask for a pasta substitution next time Vesuvio ($15) - excellent flavor with sausage, rapini and Calabrian chile. A classic that they've mastered. Wish they were open on weekends! There are a couple high tops you can sit at in the ordering area (that's the only place you can have alcohol) and then across the hall there's a huge workspace / dining area that reminds me so much of Brooklyn. People are chatting, small kids get to walk around, students are studying or working from home, there's an outdoor seating area on the other side of these garage doors -- just all around good vibes. Casual setting with upscale quality food - what more could you ask for!!

Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii
17243 17th St, TustinFirst time here. I love getting coffee while visiting Hawaii so I closed my eyes and pretended I was back on the island Anyway. Real cute store! Great merchandise and great drinks. I read from other reviewers that their ice cubes are made out of coffee! We love that. I got the seasonal island pumpkin pie iced latte. It was yummy! Not too sweet which I was concerned about. Didn't get greeted while walking in or while picking up my drink. But once I said thank you the barista responded thank you have a good day. Si that's something. I'll probably come back and visit with my husband he loves macadamia flavored coffee!

The Taco Station LLC
16471 McFadden Ave, TustinWhen I heard Taco Station was set up inside of a liquor store, I knew it was going to be good! Tacos range in price from $2.99 (asada, pollo, chicken al pastor) to $3.49 (cecina, lengua, birria, cabeza) each. They take your order (service is very friendly) and then you pay for it at the liquor store register. I got three tacos - chicken al pastor, asada and birria - all topped with cilantro and onions. I've never seen a chicken al pastor, only pork. It was so flavorful that I was pretty sure the other tacos would pale in comparison. Boy was I wrong! The asada was even better, especially with the red and green salsas added. and the birria was very tender. Burritos and tortas are also on the menu, along with carne asada fries and chilaquiles. There's a carniceria attached, with a variety of meats, some marinated, and even fish. As far as seating, there's only a few tables outside. I was lucky to get there before the lunch rush and scored a table with shade.

17292 McFadden Ave # C, TustinI got the caramel smoothie with extra drizzle (among other things)… if you’ve ever gotten extra caramel in a drink and thought “I can’t taste it”, that is not a problem at this place. There is also a tablet at the front to order, so you don’t have to worry about awkward interactions. I like things sweeter than most people, so keep that in mind. If I have the chance, I’ll come again.

Joghurt Frozen Yogurt Haus
17395 17th St # C, TustinJoghurt is a solid frozen yogurt spot in the area. They offer a wide range of flavors that are mostly all good. My favorites include their tart, Georgia peach, and salted caramel. They even have specialty flavors for an additional price. For example, they have dole whip but you do have to pay an additional $1.50 I believe. Joghurt also offers a wide range of toppings including fresh fruit, candies, and all types of syrups. The inside of this place isn't that large but there is plenty of seating outside. The staff is really nice and if you want to sample they have some sample cups behind the counter that you have to ask for.
