After hearing so many people rave about Pardon my French, I decided to give it go as it was close to my work and was looking to get my nails done for my bachelorette.
Once I arrived for my appointment on time, I was told to sit at a table and my technician would be right over…20 minutes later the technician finally came over to start. She was sweet but had to ask me multiple times what I wanted as if I wasn’t clear. The appointment felt completely rushed, the lengths of my gelx were not even remotely close to being the same length on both hands, which I had to mention more than once. The shape was not what I asked for and once the technician somewhat corrected them, they still looked odd and crooked. Not even 2 days later my nails started to chip, lift, crack, and look terrible. I’ve been to many other places for gelx and have never had an issue and they last for 3-4 weeks. For $90+ dollars I expected a better quality experience and gelx that doesn’t peel or lift after a few days.

I received a gel pedicure today and was extremely dissatisfied with the service. Lucy did not greet me (the customer) nor ask if I was satisfied with the shape or length she chose without asking. She spent about 5-10 seconds doing all 10 cuticles which shows zero effort. I asked Lucy to clean up some of the polish on the side of my toes. Before I could finish my sentence, she cut me off and said she would file it later. At the end of the pedicure, Lucy did not say she was done. She just got up, threw away trash, and went to go sit with the receptionist. Extremely poor customer service and unacceptable from a staff member that should be professional and welcoming. When you spend $45-50 on a gel pedicure, you would expect the nail technician to take their time and be detailed oriented. I received the complete opposite today.

Not worth it.
Expensive
Chipped off little bit within 24 hrs
Did almost 2 hrs!
On a hard ugly uncomfortable tall chair,
No basic English understanding, she just couldn't understand how and what I wanted, literally asked me to confirm shades of polish up to 15 times.

Julie did an amazing job on my nails! So for a bit of a backstory, I had gone to Lush Nails across the street the day before and the nail tech REFUSED to do my nails. I had left with wet powder on my nails. I had brought water decals from etsy and she couldn't figure it out. So after time I figured it out and she didn't like it saying it won't stay. They showed me stickers but it wasn't the same. So she refused me and when I asked if someone else there could do it she said no one will. The secretary then told me to try at home. I tried watching youtube videos when I realized this is what Lush's nail techs should be doing (watching youtube videos on water decals). So anyway today I went here and Julie has had experience with water decals and it was hard but she was able to do it! She told me I definitely would not have been able to do this myself at home. I'm just so thankful she was able to do it. Definitely going back to her again!

Be aware of them overcharging you. They provide their prices up front and then after the services are complete and you are ready to pay they add extra costs for "fixes". I went on 4/1/24 to get a full gel x set and gel manicure they didnt even put the "gel" on my full set just polish over the nails yet charged me $88 for the ful set and $61 for my pedicure which was a CLASSIC with callus remover total $147 before tip! A week later a nail broke and I went in to have them fix it they did for free. I went on 4/18 for a fill only which should have been $45 they charged me $65 before tip! Another nail broke that week and I waited till I needed a fill to fix it I dont have time to go there every week. I went today for a fill and pedicure. They again charged me $65 before tip for my fill I asked why so much they said the technician had to "fix" all ten nails. I said thats because the previous technicians did a poor job, why would I have to pay for those charged? $51 for my $39 pedicure total $119 before tip! Insane over $300 in less than a month for my nails over charged by at least $100 before tip, they think they can rip you off when it comes time to pay. I paid it all because that is morally the right thing to do but I will not be going back. so disappointing to feel taken advantage of.

I've been here a few times and everytime they are running behind and my mani / pedis take 2+ hours from start to finish . Overpriced for hard gel. A mani with my design was 100$ for a basic flower and check boxes (which does not look like the picture that was shown). I won't be going back. Don't go if you need/want anything different in style.

I love the atmosphere, but I wish they'd play a different show on the TV. I don't enjoy selling the sunset.
But the real thing I'd like to mention is that my nails always last a long time. This is my nails at 4 weeks

Trisha at Pardon My French Nails is a true gem! Her expertise with Gel-X nails is unparalleled, and my nails consistently turn out exactly how I want them. The salon is impeccably clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend Trisha for her skill and the fantastic results she achieves!

I had a gel-x manicure done 11 days ago and it was $80 + tip. Unfortunately, 4 of the nails have already fallen off in the last 3 days and the rest of them are totally coming up on the edges. I have not done anything excessively harsh or used any harsh products on my hands in this time. I have had many gel-x manicures elsewhere and they have always lasted 3-4 weeks, so I am very disappointed. I will say, the staff was very sweet and the nails looked nice while they lasted, but for the service and price they should have lasted a lot longer than a week.

when it comes to customer service, Ashley (receptionist queen) always goes above and beyond to make me and whoever I come with feel like family. She always makes sure to check in and see if we need any help selecting colors, and checks in regarding design choices! She makes every experience enjoyable, and miss Trisha (absolute nail queen) always leaves me feeling beautiful and amaizing with each visit. I can show her any design, and she always does it better than the picture, and let's me take my time choosing the perfect shade of pink! I always look forward to coming because both of these ladies make me feel welcomed!
