We took our dog Debbie for her first ever appointment here this morning and it was a great experience. The whole team is very friendly and welcoming and our dog was very comfortable. Very glad we found this spot.

Had a wonderful experience here after bringing my dog in for teeth cleaning. Most places just automatically wanted to charge for putting the dog under and conducting what is considered a medical procedure. Newport pet clinic was able to clean my dog’s teeth without using anesthesia and for way less money than I had been quoted by other clinics. I’m super happy with the service and will be coming back for cleaning every six months. Thanks!!

Disappointed with attempts for a pets nail trim. I have been a client for just shy of 2 years. Paid a lot of fees for visits. Early in association it was NO problem to get a nail trim for our dog. After 3 visits it was recommended to tranquilize our Pet. Next 2 visits told us unsuccessful. Then 3rd X it was recommended adding tranqualizer night before in addition to am. I arrived for appointment time. Within 1 minute staff walked my dog out to say it could not be done. My dog is at home like a deer in headlights from so much medication. Sadly, I then telephoned office mngr said I could not speak to a Veterinarian as to requested. I was so disappointed & uncertain how to move forward. ( BTW , I did pay almost days ago for a Vet visit...) Loving staff here ; but protocol needs to be addressed. If you care for animals; additional solutions should be addressed. For an office mngr to state that I was not allowed a phone call with a Vet on sight that I just payed for a visit 2 days ago is unacceptable. So sad since it seems like not positive for care.

Friendly doctor and staff. They also provide a goodie bag for a first-time patient. My cat was very happy to visit here about four months ago and received excellent care.

My boy has had some scary vet experiences in the past, which made him all that much more scared to go to the vet. Newport Pet Clinic and all of its lovely staff made us feel so welcomed and helped my dog feel safe and loved. They put so much thought into every detail of the whole experience from checking in, to the exams, to checking out and it felt like a v.i.p. experience! This place and these kind people are a true gem and I'd recommend using this clinic for all of your pet needs. Can't wait until next time!

Took Pistachio in for his first even VET check up and second round of newborn shots! The staff were caring, supportive, informative and most of all loving to our new addition to the family. We were allocated 1 hr for the full appointment and the Dr gave us ample time to ask any questions. We highly recommend this vet. We did have the first appointment of the day at 9:15 but had to wait until approximately 9:40 to be seen, however.. Maybe they had an emergency case call in, I'm not sure. Pistachio did an amazing job and we can't wait to go back for our final round of shots!

Everyone here is so amazingly helpful and friendly. My wife and I have a sick kitty, her kidneys are failing in her old age. The Newport team has been nothing short of incredible helping us get the right medication, educating us on best practices, and generally being awesome. Thank you!

TLDR; they seem more experienced with dogs than cats, so if you have a cat that doesn’t like to be touched all over, might be better to consider another vet. The stars are for respecting my choice of asking for a refund.
Brought my cat in for a physical and the first time I waited for 30+ mins then the doctor wasn’t able to examine my cat because he’s stressed out and tried to hiss and scratch. It’s the first time that a vet can’t examine him but I’m not sure if he has changed or the waiting time has added up to his anxiety or both? Not blaming the vet but I was just a bit surprised. Because they want to do their job well by giving him a thorough exam, they asked me to reschedule the exam and gave me seductive medications to feed my cat before bringing him back next time.
Battled to give him the medications, and then I was late for 10 mins and was told that since I was late, they will need to cut my exam time short because there is a patient after me. It’s my bad arriving late, but after waiting for 30+ mins the first time and needing to go through medicating my cat and bringing him back and forth and then was told that just makes the overall experience stressful…

We recently starting bringing our new puppy to Newport Pet Clinic. The vibe in this office is so wonderful. Not only are they nice, but they are extremely appreciative. Let me explain. We brought donuts for them the first time we visited them. As one would expect, they thanked us profusely. They don't need to know that it was really an excuse for my kid and I to get donuts for ourselves, so please don't mention that to them. We got a courtesy follow up call from them asking if our puppy was doing OK after his first visit. By the way, we didn't know our puppy had lungs the size watermelons until they attempted to take his temperature by poking that neck of the woods on his little anatomy; but I digress. In the call they again thanked us for the donuts. That just made us so happy. THEN, we got a card thanking us for visiting and AGAIN they thanked us for the donuts. So that is why I specifically noted that they genuinely show appreciation. What individual or business will thank you 3 distinct times for a random act of donuts? I know it may seem like a small deal, but it's not to us. It just reinforces the fact that their culture is bussin'.....that's Gen Z lingo for "pretty dang good" I believe. I have to confirm with my kids if I used that term correctly, or if I just exhibited some "sped" behavior.

I'm truly grateful for the Newport Pet Clinic staff. As a mom to two dogs - one just over a year old and the other nearly two months old - I discovered Newport Pet Clinic on Yelp, and I'm thrilled with my decision to visit! The staff's friendliness and exceptional care for both my dogs were outstanding. Additionally, scheduling appointments was incredibly convenient. I would highly recommend if you have pets that are in need of care!

We love Newport Pet Clinic! Everyone here is so friendly and caring. Both doctor we have seen have been so sweet and gentle with our dog Gunner. They take there time and really care about your pups best interest. We take our dog here also for non anesthetic dental cleaning. Don’t forget to get your pups teeth cleaned! We highly recommend Newport Pet Clinic!

I was looking where to take my Frenchie for a check up on her rashes and wanted to go somewhere I could be comfortable and know that my Frenchie is in good hands, after looking on yelp I came across Newport pet clinic and I'm glad I did. Because from the making an appointment to going in person everyone is so nice and treats every dog/cat with care. Dr. Beaudet was so nice and informative about my Frenchie Luna. Devanie the receptionist was so nice and very helpful with what we needed for Luna she also was able to get in Luna for a groom even though they were super busy. Lisa was also super nice and helpful. Glad I picked this clinic for luna and going to keep brining her here.
