Okay I'm gonna out myself here; I have never been in a micro center. I had no idea what to expect. Like no expectations at all. I just knew that we needed a mount for my tv and my partner suggested we go to micro center. I found one on Yelp and off we went. This store is huge. I had no idea it would be this big. This is the place for all your electronic needs. Seriously they have all the devices and gadgets. A good amount of the electronics, I didn't even know what they were lol I'm outing myself really hard here lol But it seems like it's a one stop shop for any technology needs. Service was good, the customer service was nice. If you need help finding something, they are willing to help. And I found the mount that fits my tv. Yes! Score. Worth the trip.

This review is for the tech desk/repairs: This is rough to draft out because I got my first big gaming PC (custom build) from Micro Center and it was one of the BEST gaming PCs I've ever owned. Sadly, it was time to finally upgrade, and I had friends suggesting an Omen HP (which I DO NOT recommend) and purchased a new PC through HP directly. I've had issues with my device with random crashing, no error message to help find the issue of the crash, literally just hard crashes. Once I was able to confirm that it was a PC related issue and not a game specific issue, I decided to contact HP to go over my device warranty (which btw, this device isn't even 6 months old...). HP couldn't figure out what the issue was, so they gave me a few options; ship it to HP, take it to a local Best Buy, or take it to a Micro Center. Since I had such an awesome experience with my custom build, Micro Center was a no brainer. This is when my opinion of Micro Center UNFORTUNATELY took a negative turn. I brought my device in on a Saturday afternoon, and I TOTALLY understand that Micro Center gets hit HARD since they are literally the only true tech place around. I didn't mind the waiting for a walk up appointment, but the lack of communication throughout the whole process was *horrible*. When I dropped the device off, I had asked the rep (who I will remain nameless) "how long do you think it will take for my PC to get repaired?" and her response was "Oh, by today for sure!" I was surprised by this, but I took her word for it. 8PM starts to roll around, and I hadn't heard a thing from Micro Center. So, I decided to shoot them a text to get an update, and they told me that they had to order a part to fix my device. I didn't think this was a big deal, I figured "sure that's fair", but what was told to be *one* day turned into a full week. At this point, I was starting to feel the stress since this IS my personal PC that I do a lot of work on and being out for that long isn't pleasant. Once Thursday rolled around, I received a text message saying "the part we ordered has not arrived yet, we will contact you in four days or sooner" THIS is when I had to become pushy with the service. To be told one day, then about three days, and then an ADDITIONAL four was not okay with me. I was told that the issue was with my RAM, so I wanted to see if I could just buy RAM from Micro Center and pick my device up sooner. I was told that this wasn't possible because since my device was under HP warranty, they would not be able to finish the repairs until the part from HP arrived. This whole bit did not make sense to me and no one was willing to take time and explain it to me... not to mention, the text messages I would receive at this point were VERY slow, I'm talking... several hours of waiting. This is when I decided to contact the general customer service support line. This is *also* the only reason why I'm giving Micro Center two stars instead of one. I was helped out by a woman named Nicole and she was DESPERATELY what I needed to help find any answer or solution for my device. She called the store for me (since there is no direct line for this location) to see if should could get connected with a manager. Magically, the part that "had not arrived on time/on that day" was there and she updated me that the device would FOR SURE be available for pickup that same day. The chain of events, lack of communication, and total and complete inorganization of this location is truly disappointing. I understand that workers may be SWAMPED and I don't want to pressure anyone into doing anything. But if someone just took the time to communicate, update, and not be completely reliant on automated messages, this could have been handled significantly better. I was even COMPLETELY READY to bust out my wallet and make an easy RAM purchase, but my desire to do so was quickly taken away with how challenging this team was to work with. It's very apparent that the wor

Great one stop shop for PC parts and computers. The service counter was just ok. They were able to do everything I needed, but I felt like the pricing was steep. I think going to an independent shop may be better.

I only come here to recycle my electronics. It's in the back area and you can just put your stuff on a cart and wheel it up to them. Pretty painless and I found them pretty friendly.

I dropped my computer off 3/6/24 for repairs and I was told they would be finished in 3-5 days. It wasn't even CHECKED for diagnostic tests until the 14th. On Friday I got the automated message that it was ready @ 12:09 PM only for them to message me again that it was "Too early" and it'll take "another day or two" @ 3:21 PM Remind you, all I needed fixed was a CPU cooler. At this point I'm agitated, they end up messaging again and say that my case cannot fit the new unit and they have another part they can use; which is fine for being honest. But I stated that I prefer the first recommendation since I run pretty hearty applications. I stated that I'm alright with switching out my case, they tell me it'll be be moved to $200 (assuming that doesn't even include the part prices and labor) making this fix cost 3x more than necessary if I just did it myself at this point. Pretty agitated, having a computer in a shop for 13 days is really just not reasonable especially since it's a part switch out.

This review is directed specifically at the Tech Bar, they have provided the absolute worst service I've ever seen and are incompetent. I used to go to Micro Center whenever my gaming PC had an issue, they used to be good evening managing to fix issues in an hour. This most recent time has made me want to never return again. I left my PC with them on 3/4/2024, they give me the service number and I check it through their site. The estimated date of fix is 3/5/2024. A week and a half goes by and they haven't even bothered to run the diagnostic. Only after I make a complaint do they actually get started and diagnosing and fixing it still takes them about 4 days, and also they don't even fix anything, they tell me my motherboard is broken and say I should buy a new one from them. At this point, I don't trust them with anything and take it back before they try to pull some bullshit and make me pay for a new part that I don't need. I take it somewhere else and they diagnose and fix it in 5 hours. A 5 hour job took this useless tech service two weeks to not even fix anything. Fuck this place, if you're looking for someone to fix your computer, do not go here. They are completely unreliable.

No stars for this location. Do not take ur computer to be repaired. They kept my laptop for 2wks and did not touch it They had promised a 2wk turn around which I was happy with, the tech actually emailed me w the part needed. I gave him the go ahead to start and he "ghosted". I showed up this weekend to get an update. Surprised and disappointed, even the supervisor says he don't blame me to not leave it any further. They returned my service fee but I am done no more business from after more than 20 yr patronizing this spot

I've been a Microcenter customer for a long time, had an issue where my pc was fine one day and crashing the next day. Turned my pc into Microcenter on 2/23 for a general diagnostic and just got it back today, 3/9. The technician only tested a different cpu, and immediately concluded that what I needed was a new cpu. I just got this cpu (7700x) less than a year ago from microcenter as well so it was extremely concerning. I asked them to test the cpu separately but they said they have no AM5 test bench. They tried to sell me an extra 80$ replacement fee and $30 to flash bios, so I just bought another cpu to replace it. After I got home and flashed the bios, however, I decided to test the "faulty" cpu one last time for myself. The chip and the pc is currently working perfectly, WITHOUT the new cpu. I'm currently running more stress tests but nothing is currently amiss, but it was quite unprofessional that the technician did not even attempt to check the software side before trying to sell me more stuff. Microcenter has decent deals on PC Parts so I will be back more for that, but its service side is extremely sub-par and I will have to return the cpu I just bought.

I brought in my PC to fix the constant blue screens I had for almost a year and was helped out by Onaje. He was very helpful and recommended the best options for me and helped me fix the problems I had with my PC. Highly recommend asking for Onaje if you're looking to get your PC fixed at Micro Center!

This is the place to go to buy tech. I came here several times to buy 3D printers and other accessories. They have a vast selection and amazing customer service. I had to return one 3D printer and they made the whole process flawless. Highly recommended.

I spent well over 2500$ here over the past year. Micro center worker recommended that I buy an inland m.2. Micro centers home brand might I add. It failed after 6 months. I call after two hours of trying to get this figured out they say they ca replace it with a 100$ service fee. An m.2 is 2 screws. Least that could've happened is change our the m.2 since it their home brand. Will be sticking to new egg.com

We went on presidents weekend on Sunday and it was very busy parking lot was full. They were busy inside but it did not take long for them to help us at the build your computer area. They helped us super quick and was really helpful with all questions and then he got all the items together the line was long but moved very quickly. The cashier was very nice very helpful. We were very surprised with the great service for how busy it was we would definitely come here again for electronics needs.
