I've been going here since they were the little brother to Frys, now they are the sole survivor and not resting on their laurels. The service is excellent, helped by a commission plan for the associates on the floor.
Mostly, though, I order online and pick up at the store. They're doing a better job of staffing that line and pulling items out while you're waiting so that there's a minimum amount of time at the cashier.
The prices are good also, their motherboard CPU RAM bundles cannot be beaten. The rest are competitive with and in line with online.
The selection is great, also. They expanded the store a few years ago and really made it a proper destination for anything you might need electronics wise.

Better products here than Best Buy plus the workers know more about components. You can sometimes score massive deals when they are trying to get rid of something

I recently purchased the MSI RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Trio OC from Micro Center — or at least that’s what I thought. The product was listed and marketed as the OC Plus version, which includes a slightly upgraded cooler with an extra heatpipe. But when I got home and checked the box and card, it was actually the non‑Plus version.
In fairness, the price I paid — $899 — is correct for the non‑Plus version, and the card itself performs very well. But the problem is the listing. It clearly said “OC Plus”, which is what I believed I was buying. There’s a meaningful difference between the two, even if small (cooling and resale value), and I would have made a different decision had the listing been accurate.
Micro Center acknowledged the difference but only offered a full return, not a partial refund or adjustment — which is disappointing when the mistake was on their end.
I’m sharing this so others can double-check the product name and box model number before purchasing, especially when MSI uses similar names. The experience left me feeling misled, even though I still ended up with a solid GPU.

Employs aren’t knowledgeable and you have a hard time getting help since they employees are talking to each other. The employee that helping me used chatgpt for something so simple. The store did have the things I needed.

I came in this afternoon to pickup parts to build my own desktop for the first time. One of the employees asked to assist me and helped pickup all the parts while ensuring that I would get the best deals. It was such a fun experience and it quite literally is tech heaven. Thank you to that employee, I didn’t get your name but you were awesome!
