From my first email, to their introductory call, reminder emails, tips and tricks for moving, and, of course, the move itself, Maison folks were extremely helpful, informative, and pleasant to work with. Although our temporary move into storage was known for a long time, I waited a bit long to reserve my team. Not a problem for Maison. They came prepared to work. We were mostly done packing (but not completely) and the guys pitched in for the assist.
If I ever move again (back from storage to the house), I'm calling Maison. You should, too.
Five stars does not do this company justice.

I had a really mixed experience with Maison Moving. First off, when I had to move my date because of nonsense with my apartment, they went above and beyond to make sure they got people to my apartment when and where I needed it. Which I truly appreciated. 5/5 experience with them on the phones.
A little bit of background to explain why I get frustrated: I had permission from my apartment to use movers the day after my move out date as long as I got my keys to them by 9:30 AM. Otherwise they'd charge me an extra days rent: ~$65. Now I had told the company I only wanted 6-10 heavy/unwieldy items moved and
I had moved or would move everyone else. The plan was to have them move the big furniture pieces and then, worst case scenario, I'd pay the extra rent and take the rest of the day moving the small stuff.
Now when the movers got there, they said they called me. They had the right number, but I had no missed calls which was odd. So we're already starting off on a bad foot. I tell them what I want to prioritize and I even had a whole white board with the items in order of importance! So the company knew, the movers knew, and there was a visual aid. The movers proceed to move everything instead of the things I actually need moving. And instead of calling it after an hour of moving furniture so we can make it to the move site, I'm held hostage by still needing the furniture moved. The move time at the original location is double what I hoped even with me and my girlfriend eventually moving a lot of the little stuff to try to keep them focused on the furniture. We have to rush to turn in the keys in time to get out without also paying extra rent for the day while they're moving the last 3 pieces. There were a couple other minor issues, but they were mostly resolved and not worth mentioning.
The whole day went from something that was supposed to make my life easier to extremely stressful and ruining the whole day.
We eventually got to payment, which was $200+ more than what we expected. Again, the idea was to stay on budget by closely watching the time and having them stop with smaller stuff we could move on our own. So I pay an extra $90 cash that I had on hand and then talked to Daniel (I think) on the phones afterwards before paying any more. I can't, in good conscience give Maison 5 stars because the moving aspect was so stressful the whole time watching them not do what I clearly asked them to do and then trying to charge me for doing more than I wanted them to. But Daniel waived the extra $100 or so. So we met in the middle and I really appreciated that he was able to listen to my story and meet me halfway and not charge me any more than I had in cash. Another aspect is that the workers did work that long and should be paid for their work, so I understand. I think I could bump it up to 5 stars if they were able to not charge me the extra $90 I had to pay. But I feel like Daniel was already stretching his capabilities with what he could do.
The beginning with the several people I worked with to make sure I had the movers at the right time and Daniel at the end bump this from a 1 star review to a 4 star experience. I just wish the movers could have listened to my instructions and needs and this could have been a glowing review.

Maison Moving and Storage did a very good job from beginning to end. They were responsive to my emails and phone calls and the team they sent on moving day was very professional and friendly. Thanks for a well done job.

I would highly recommend Maison Moving. The weekend before my move, I hired another moving company with a cheaper hourly rate to move my girlfriend from her house. That was a big mistake on my part. They worked 40% slower, didn’t have the needed equipment and damaged my flooring and furniture. What should have been finished by 5:00 took until 10:00. At the end of the move, the cost of moving with Maison Moving was less expensive and better service. The crew they sent out, Robert, Gilbert and Buddy were great!

I highly recommend Maison Moving. Stephanie was very helpful and patient, seeming to understand the stresses of moving. The movers (I regret I've forgotten their names) were terrific. They took care in packing my stuff, were friendly while efficient and very helpful. I am so appreciative.

I wish I can give no stars. I used their services for a move between houses less than a mile apart. While we had three movers, it took them 8 hours to load and unload the boxes. The disappointment was when we found few boxes missing. Sadly it was all religious festival stuff and Christmas stuff collected over a period of 25 years and hard to find them. We contacted the company but no luck. I am still hoping they return those few boxes. I absolutely would not use this company again due to the fact that they did not care to address my concerns.

This is a great moving company! Very professional business in terms of communication, invoices and moving methods. Please invest in the minimal insurance that is 75$ additional to be safe. We had one small break on an old cheap dresser so I wasn’t worried. But if you have big dollar items it’s better to invest in the insurance. Only reason for the 4 stars was the guys were late by 1 hour.

Wish I could give less than a 1 star review. They do Not care about how they treat your items. My sister used this company and they left her items damaged beyond repair, and the owners don't even have the decency to return a phone call to discuss the situation. All in all they handled the move, her items, and now her time very poorly. I would not recommend this company they are very unprofessional!!

If I could give Maison Moving 0 stars I would. Don't go through this moving company if you have any sentimental items because they simply don't care about your stuff. After 4 months from using their services to move things into my storage unit I found several things that were broken or damaged. My nightstand broken in the back. Box with glass cups broken. The most heartbreaking thing that they broke and seem to have no remorse over is my brother's and my dog's urns were broken with the ashes now mixed together. The ashes were also all over my couch pillows. Talk about being traumatized and having to relive a moment in my life I thought was laid to rest. When I called to let the company know on Saturday 4/20/24, I was informed that the person who handles things of this matter wouldn't be in til Monday........a matter like this should never be delayed and addressed immediately, which this company seems as if they could careless since it's not their family member. I paid a pretty penny to have my things moved and tipped extremely well but not to have received this type of treatment of disrespect. SHAME on you Maison Moving I hope you never have to experience what your dishonest movers have put me and my family through truly disgusted by your company!

I happened upon Maison by chance and have so happy i found them. Highly friendly and professional, great communication, and the gentlemen that did the labor where very nice, helpful, on task and completed the move much faster than i ever hoped. I would not hesitate to use Maison in the future. You wont be disappointed. Thank you Maison for making the difficult move so much easier!!
