Do NOT get their rebates it's a SCAM! We paid $750 for a toilet and faucet installation and the wrong company arrived at our house and tried charging us more. When we called Lowe's to clear it up, their customer service took an hour to look into it and said another company was scheduled to come to our house at another date (but we had never even talked to this other company). We are trying to get refunded for labor now since we got no work done and wasted our time.

So let me tell you about my experience with buying appliances at Lowe's. I went to them as it seemed like they had the best deal for me....but I guess there was a good reason for this! All I wanted was to buy four appliances (stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator), get them installed and haul away the current ones. Not a very difficult ask!
So I go online to order. I see no option for installation for the stove or refrigerator, and not option to haul away for the refrigerator. Ok weird. I guess on the Lowe's online chat...and God forbid, I spent two and a half hours with them trying to resolve this....and it still didn't get resolved (good forbid, I got so tired). Message responses were slow...they werent answering my question, and we were getting nowhere. Then they were saying things like, "will you already have your stove unplugged ". Like no! I'm not going to unplug my gas stove....that's why I'm paying for a haul away!!!
Then I go into the store. Turns out no appliance associate is there! So someone else tried helping, again running into the same issues as I did, and couldn't answer my simple question! I just need my appliances installed and the old ones hauled away! Not a difficult ask! As a store who has dealt with this on a daily basis for many years, this should be a simple solution!
Again I gave up, and then decided to call Lowe's customer service this time! After being transferred many times, I finally reached someone to talk to. This person then finally managed to clarify that as long as I buy an installation kit, the installation is included! Why couldn't Lowe's just specify that on their website like Home Depot does???
Anyway, I again went to the store again for the order, as even though the installation question was answered (after a long process), the haul away for the refrigerator wasn't. I finally found someone helpful. They finally figured out that there wasnt an option for haul away for the refrigerator as it was a special order and that samsung would just leave it at the door and not even install it. But then he found a work around where they could order the refrigerator to the lowe's warehouse and then a lowes person can deliver, install and haul away.
Ok sounds like problem solved! Now the lowes order receipt is not very easy to read! A while late I realize the refrigerator on the order is wrong!!! It should have been a counter depth, not standard depth! And the promotion period is over!!! I again have to have multiple calls, chat sessions and in person to see if they can change the fridge out to the correct one and still apply the promotion! But now the fridge i want is out stock!
So now my only option is to cancel the refrigerator! So I go ahead and do that! But, I had originally purchased a 5 year, 3 appliance plan (for stove, refrigerator, dishwasher), which I would now have to change to 5 year, 2 appliance plan (since I canceled the refrigerator). The lowe's person told me to contact lowes protection plan to get this changed. I called....they said to call Lowe's! Holy moly!
So I go back to Lowe's again who then said ok, they can cancel the 3 appliance plan and purchase a 2 appliance plan. So again I go into the store to do this! After making this change, I ask is the plan linked to the right appliances? Again he said to calm Lowe's protection plan and they can link it! OMG!!!! Now I have been on hold with them for over an hour!!!!!!
If Lowe's goes out of business, I would not be surprised!

BETTER VALUE ! Ever since my wife and I landed in the USA over 16 years ago we've been bigger fans of Lowe's Home Improvement stores than The Home Depot stores. Lowe's are usually neater, bathrooms are upfront and have better choices in some areas particularly in the Garden Center. THE PRICES ARE BETTER ! During the heavy rain and gale force winds in Irvine recently some of our stuff on the back patio was damaged. A cute potted succulent arrangement which was a gift to my wife a couple of years ago from a former work colleague was chipped badly. I needed to find an identical size pot which looked similar to replace it. And I looked everywhere with no luck until I popped in here on Thursday....found it in 60 seconds. HOW'S THAT ! In fact I had a choice of 3 patterns all for under $10...my max spend. TOO EASY ! I took it home and did a succulent arrangement transplant and it looks even better now. Friendly service at the checkout. MY WIFE IS HAPPY !

Nice clean store that is usually well stocked. Barely any registers are even open, but they have self checkout if you're impatient. Pets are allowed inside too.

Low sell Sherwin-Williams paint and that's the product I want and they had plenty of chips for me to choose my color and made it easy for me to buy paint
