I ordered from their website and my payment went through just fine. The very next day I got a cancelation email without any explanation. I sent an email to their customer service email and no response. Now, I am looking at his reply to his customer and it explains everything. Stay away!! And don't believe what he says on YouTube and Facebook too :)

I saw one of HookahJohn's videos on YouTube about bowls and had to try them. I'm a Hookah amateur and still learning but I'm heading in the right direction with these bowls. They are amazing. I've used the Alien Bowl and Werkbund Lettering Bowl and can immediately tell the difference from the cheap bowls I bought before. I also had no problems with ordering from the site.

Have spent over $10,000 with HJ. Always stellar customer service. Great selection of only the best quality items. Fast shipping speed, orders are always correct even when quite lengthy. If a problem ever arises, it’s solved almost immediately.

Placed an order and they told me my payment method is flagged. Then they asked me to ZELLE them money if I want to make the purchase. I contacted my credit card company which is Apple/Goldman Sachs and they told me multiple times I have no flags, no fraud warning or any kind of issues with the payment to them and it’s on HookahJohns end. I even asked them if they will accept PayPal or Venmo as payment as I have security and protection behind that transaction and they again pushed and said Zelle only. Furthermore I said can I try a different credit card and see if it goes through. At this point they stopped replying after I sent three emails in a row. During this time I was looking for another seller for products and found a much better hookah master and he even talked on the phone with me for over an hour talking to me about the different hookahs and shisha flavors I would be interested in based on what I like.Anyways to me this is a very sketchy/shady thing to ask to pay with Zelle while being a very well known hookah influencer across the world. Take your money elsewhere to someone who does know how to run a credit card transaction and does not ask for payment via Zelle which has no security behind that.

After placing order received the email to zelle. Responded to the email and ended up speaking with John directly to resolve the issue. This is my first order, and while after speaking with John I understand his side, still hope that the process can be enhanced so similar situations can be avoided. Look forward to receiving my order. UPDATE: Received order and subsequently placed and received another without any issues

Best hookah shop in the world! Not sure what the bad reviewers are smoking (probably not the good stuff HJ sells lol). I ordered multiple times and had zero issues. They always ship super fast and only sell quality products. By law, they have to verify your age one way or another, though my verification literally took two seconds through their automated system. Do not hesitate to order from these guys.

So I have ordered from this company several times. Great prices and fast shipping speeds. Until this time my order was not delivered as according to tracking. UPS delivered it to the incorrect address. So I wasn't upset with hookah john at 1st because it was UPS error. I went back and forth and the only solution they gave me was to have the seller contact UPS to file a claim. I reached out to HookahJohn via phone and email and no response back after one email of them telling me to check with my neighbors. If my neighbors got the package they haven't bought it to me UGHHHHH. I'M UPSET AND SAD. So they have lost a customer and I have lost money and no product.

I’ve been ordering from here for a little over a year now. Never had any issues with quality or online order/ Scam or Fraud encounters with Hookah John. I definitely prefer this shop over any other ones in OC as they always have my order ready to go, and I never am left waiting on staff. Great customer service, super fast, helpful, and respectful.I do wish they were open on weekends or at the very least, on saturdays. Still the best place though.

This company is canceling credit card payments and requiring payment through Zelle, which is a friends and family money transfer service with no payment protections. All of their responses indicate people trying to scam them but it sounds more like they're either trying to scam their customers, or they are committing fraud. Do not pay for goods and services online through Zelle. You can not get your money back if you're scammed, and if they're committing tax fraud, they should be reported.

Horable costumers services, they accept my order than requested a zelle payment, after my credit card went through, saying I was a scam! Very inappropriate behavior!

Placed an order for a bunch of things today. Like others that have reviewed I did get an email with an issue from my credit card with the OPTION to use zelle. At first I was concerned and emailed John and he very kindly explained that it was legit and why. I am thankful they went the extra mile to double check the legitimacy of my purchase. I emailed with Customer service a bit and easily found a solution and verified my identity. My order was shipped with in a couple hours. I am sorry some folks had an issue but in the orders I placed, and even doing research on what I wanted to order, John and the entire team were nice, helpful and I felt trying to do the best the could to make sure I got what I wanted and was satisfied. Rare to find this kind of customer service now days.
