They told me that I would pick the rental up from the repair shop. They didn't respond to my calls, they never showed up at the shop. Very poor communication

Had a bit of a mixup with my reservation after picking it up at Burbank airport.Came to the closes hurts to where I was andTheseus, was able not only to resolve my problem but was very professional and helpful.Will be using this Hertz location from now on, because of Theseus.Very smooth transaction and walking out satisfied with the 5 star service.

Spectacular service from everyone. Ashley is the Best Manager hands down. I have been renting here at this location for 5 years now. I want go anywhere else.

If I could give them "0" stars, I would. I am very disappointed with Hertz in general. Could not get a hold of an agent to confirm my reservation or get a pickup. I initially had the reservation at the costa mesa location, I gave up after 2 days of trying to contact them. I tried the Tustin location and I was readily put through to an agent who was very helpful and helped me transfer my reservation. However, when it came time for pickup .. the same! No one answers or voicemail or a recording telling us they are busy helping others, just rings and eventually gets disconnected. After an entire morning of repeated calls .. I get through only to hear there's no staff to do pick ups. not even an apology for the lack of service. If i knew that before, i would other arrangements and not wasted my entire morning. I cancelled my reservation and went with enterprise - much better service. will be picked up in 1/2 hr.

Would give them no stars. Do not trust them when they say just ignore the smell of Marijuana and cigarettes. They will charge you $400 and who knows how many times they do this. Car was not dirty but not that clean either. I will never deal with them again. I don't smoke so I am very disappointed in them as people. They lied and got away with it. So sad. Don't do business here. Wish I would have read the reviews first. Never again.

This location is terrible. The ONLY way to do business with them is to appear in person. They never answer the phone and when u finally drive over the attendant says she was "busy" that's why they don't answer the phone. You also can't leave a message. It just rings and rings. And the website and 800 number can't help either . . So next time it will be enterprise!

I was a victim of a DUI hit & run recently and my insurance gave me the option to get a car from an competitor that starts with an "E" or Hertz.The other rental car place does not have cars in the price range my policy gives me per day. Hertz has a wider selection and range of prices to choose from so I decided to give Hertz a go.They picked me up at the body shop and got me to the Rental office in one piece.The female employee was very friendly and empathic to the situation (hit n run) and went the extra mile to make things as painless as possible for me.I told her my insurance policies per day rental budget and she was able to make it work for me. Even upgraded me to the next size up.As we were walking out to the lot - I saw that they had an Polestar 2 and I asked how it was to drive one of those. Her response was "you can see for yourself, we can do that car for you".YES YES and YES! I'm already set up for an EV with my current car that is in the shop. So, this works out great!This office is actually on the Tustin Mazda dealership and they seem to have a great fleet of newer cars.The employees are nice and go the extra mile to make sure you're taken care of.Once I returned the vehicle, they were able to drop me back off at the body shop.I hope I don't get hit again, but if I do - Hertz has earned my business!

I made a reservation for a van four weeks in advance to be told they didn't have any vans available when I showed up. Customer Service tried to provide an alternative but it was too small for my needs. Hence the need for a van. Make sure you call them before heading there and wasting your time and money to not find the car you reserved. My bad luck with Hertz.

Customer service is horrible. Car availability is poor. The manage, a woman, wasn't very helpful. I told her I had been calling and left a voicemail and no response. She said she was in charge of the phone, I confirmed their number and call them in front of them and the phone didn't ring.
