Bought 4 Bridgestone tires online and got the $110 manufacturers discount. Selected the Costco Tire Center on El Camino Real for mounting and balancing. Luis checked me in and was very courteous and called me soon as my car was ready to be picked up. I like not having to get back in the drop off line to pick up my car. They are way more conscientious of my time than the District tire center. The whole experience was friendly and efficient.

I came to the shop today because of a slow leak tire. Eddie was extremely helpful, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. he inspected the tire, inflate it, calibrated it and told me if it's still leaking then come back. he is such a hard worker, it was very busy but he was nice to all the customers and always have a smile. Costco is so lucky to have him.

Not worth the little money you save. They typically don’t have enough staff. Have to wait for extended appointments to get tires. I had a flat and had to go around 6 days with spare until could get new tire and the. Appointment to open up. Would rather just pay a little extra and get great service love Costco for everything else

Costco touts customer service and they never come thru with their tire shop. This is my 2nd time trying to rush here to get service before 7 PM and it's always come back the next morning. The 1st time I had my car towed here and that was their same response. Terrible horrible service. They're not even busy and they have guys walking around ??♂️ zero stars

Walked in for a patch on my tire, paid and was told it will be a two and a half hour wait. I asked a mechanic when they could start working on my car after waiting for three hours. I was told it would be another two hour wait. After standing in line for 30 minutes to cancel and get a refund I started talking to other customers who were complaining about the wait times and delays. This seems to be a normal thing based on the staff who could hear us talking and having no reaction at all. This tells me it's a management issue and they can't do anything about it. Or they just don't care and know there isn't much Costco can do about the lack of bad labor. Either or I definitely would not come here again. These guys treat the place like it's the DMV. You stand in line for almost an hour just to get a number to stick on your car. And they tell people to go home and they will call them when the car is ready. The lady in front of me only needed one tire replaced and they told her she will need to come back tomorrow. That's how slow they are.I wasted my entire day because of the slow labor so don't make the same mistake I did. Go to a reputable shop. Even pay more just don't go here unless you don't care about taking an Uber home and leaving your car at the shop for a couple days.

Encountered some difficulties yesterday. My husband and I love Costco and it's friendly, efficient employees. We were in because a Michelin tire we purchased 10 days ago had a bulge. My husband was sent from the indoor line to the outdoor bay and then back to the indoor line TWICE. Communication and organization between employees needs much improvement. We were not pleased.

Worst experience ever. Came in on a Tuesday morning, and as other reviewers have mentioned- already long lines. I spoke with Diego and he informed me they did not have the tires for my car in stock because it's in high demand. Understandable. He said he wouldn't be able to get it in until a few days later, which wouldn't work for me because I need my car. So I asked if it would be possible to patch it up (just so I can drive it to another tire place that may have availability) and he tells me that they can try, but it's not guaranteed and told me upfront it would be 14 bucks. I told him I had to talk to my husband about it and he helped other customers while I was on the phone. So I tell him sure, let's do the patch work. He tells me to leave my keys and come back whenever they call me later in the afternoon cos they're pretty busy. Fair enough. I ask him to write down the type of tire my car needed, and he nodded while he printed out my receipt and took my payment. He gives me the receipt then instantly walks out with other customers to their car. I wasn't too bothered since I saw they were busy and he was multi-tasking. But when he came back I realized he never wrote down the tire type/model I need and he just dictates it to me verbally, super fast. Sorry guy, I'm not a mechanic or a tire person. You're throwing out random item numbers and names. So I took out my phone and had him repeat it slowly. He did. I yelped other businesses and spoke to one who said that the tire model I provided is no longer available/discontinued by Michelin and has been replaced by another tire model. Like wtf? Did you really not want me to shop with other businesses? Surely he would have known it was discontinued because he told me it would take a few days to get the tires in (which I opted out of) so I'm sure he would have known the info for the replacement model but he didn't bother to tellme this or inform me of the discontinuation. They called me at 3pm to tell me they couldn't patch up my tire (there was a nail and air is spilling out) and so I just wasted so much time with Costco. Lesson learned- I will always trust and read reviews. Because it was Costco, I went in blind and fully trusting. He was not friendly and was very flat like he wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone. Find other tire places in the area! I found one in Newport and they were friendly and willing to research to find answers to my BASIC questions. Steer clear of this place.

Dropped by to get new site of tires for my SUV. No matter what day or time it is this place is always busy. As expected they didn't have my set of tires so they had to order it and I had to prepay They told me that they will call once the tires arrived to the store but I never got a call back. I made a conservative appt at least a week after and came on time for my appt. I was quoted for appts it will 1.5 to 2hrs max. So I waited inside the store. But my car wasn't done til almost 3hrs later. And when I got home some parts of my car like the toolbox were not properly installed. Overall not very happy about this service

I found that Costco tires are not discounted compared to my estimates from two other places.

Slow. 4 technicians only get 8 cars done in 3 hours. I've been waiting 3.5 hours and my car is still untouch . Last time the guy at the tire shop changed my tire in 20 minutes. FYI, WAIT TIME IS 3HOUR 28 MINUTES +40 MINUTES SERVICE. TOTAL 4HOURS 8 MINUTES TO CHANGE 1 SINGLE TIRE.

Big Shoutout to Tim! Came in after my tire pressure sign came on, (an ongoing issue I've recently had) and had taken the car to another Costco tire center with further solution other than adding air. He located a nail in the tire that the other location missed! Tim was helpful and kind so thank you for finally getting to the issue. I will need to go back to get the tire replaced (no longer taking in cars as it was the end of the day) but wanted to have his service be acknowledged.

We all love Costco... except for the dreaded tire center, right? I'm wondering, does anyone in the tire center ever answer the phone? Why do they open earlier than the hours posted on the front door and how do customers find out about these secret hours of operation? Sure, the prices are fair, and Costco is very trustworthy, BUT the attendants seem oblivious to the line of customers that extends out the entrance door. Would a little sense of urgency be too much to ask? Do I really need to wait 40 minutes to get to the counter even though there are only 6 people in front of me (this doesn't count the time I had to wait when I picked up the car)? They really need to come up with a system that allows them to handle customers more efficiently at peak hours just as they would inside the warehouse. Retail 101.The truth is there isn't as much advantage to using Costco Tire Center as there used to be. America's Tire has equally competitive prices, a much larger selection, but most importantly they respect the customers' time. When you arrive, an attendant comes to meet you at your car (think In-N-Out drive thru). When you go into the office there are 3 or 4 attendants to serve you. Yes, you can make an appointment. And by the way, they have real waiting areas--indoors and outdoors--with real chairs, not a steel bench that makes tic-tac-toe board impressions on your rear end! Get it together, Costco Tire Center! You're not the only game in town.

Went on a rainy day, there was only one guy working in the front and had the long line moving fast. Took my car in around 10:30am and got it back at 2pm. They called and updated me throughout the process.

The worker named Eddie was very polite and helpful. He explained everything to us very clearly, and was also very kind and patient with other customers. All the customers present there who were helped by him liked him. I think Costco should give him some reward for his fine services.
