The service is not bad, but they should hire more people to expedite the drop-off process! Standing in the line for 30 min…?!

Not that Costco care if their member are happy….
Shout out to Luis. You wasted two hours or so of my time.
Had appointment at 10AM and got all the paper workout sorted out.
Was green tag 3.
Was told I am good to go and then car will ready in an 1 hour or so. Waited nearby as I don’t have my car. Came back and found car left untouched. My tag is still on the cashier table.
And I saw tag 7 rolled in.
Luis told me to take the tag and talked to people in the back. Because my car supposed to be done.
Guess what? Ralph told me they can’t find my car becauseI supposed to put tag on my card myself, WHICH LUIS NEVER TOLD ME TO. And it was a miscommunication issue.
So Luis blamed Ralph, Ralph blamed me.
Kinda funny isn’t it.
So two hour of my life were wasted. I have placed to be too, now my entire schedule is scrambled

Short staffed.. Too much wait time and not worth the wait. They have just 1 staff in tire center and there are 10 people waiting at any point of time

This is the second pair of shoes that has gotten grease/oil on them after I had my tires rotated at Costco. The first pair is ruined. I cannot get the grease off. I’m so angry. They left the lug nut lock device in my center console, left my trunk net unattached and got grease all over my gas or brake pedal and apparently other places in there. This is unacceptable!

I have waited 3 hours just to rotate my tires, still waiting, if we always need to wait so long, what is the meaning for appointment?Update: it took 5 hours to rotate the tires, unbelivable.

FYI before you buy! This store does not do alignment after installation. I've never come across a shop that installs tires without an alignment, but this is it. Now I have to make another trip to a decent mechanic for more money and time wasted.I strongly recommend getting tire service done through any other company. I would have paid more to go somewhere else had I known how bad this place was going to be. BUT, if you need to get tire service through Costco, go to any other location than this one.If you have to buy through Costco:- Buy your tires online and ship them to any store that isn't this one.- Immediately schedule an appt to have them installed (the earliest available for me was 2 weeks out).- Plan for the possibility that Costco's shoddy work will require more effort on your part to get fixed.Other things to consider:- They do not have separate lines for walk-ins and appointments. Even if you schedule an appt, get there early because you will have to wait behind the walk-ins.- I highly recommend not showing up without an appt.- This store is really short-staffed and the poor employees are burned out and overworked (and it shows). Don't expect good customer service (especially without an appt.)

The new tires that were replaced in June 2023 were found to be leaking yesterday. The staff who went to repair the tires this morning told me that the tires could not be repaired and asked me to replace them with new ones. The staff told me that because I did not replace the front and rear tires, I could only replace them with new tires and the mileage was about 10,000. The tires cannot be repaired and can only be replaced with new ones. This Costco tire store really makes me angry ? The staff shirks their responsibility

Bought 4 Bridgestone tires online and got the $110 manufacturers discount. Selected the Costco Tire Center on El Camino Real for mounting and balancing. Luis checked me in and was very courteous and called me soon as my car was ready to be picked up. I like not having to get back in the drop off line to pick up my car. They are way more conscientious of my time than the District tire center. The whole experience was friendly and efficient.

I came to the shop today because of a slow leak tire. Eddie was extremely helpful, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. he inspected the tire, inflate it, calibrated it and told me if it's still leaking then come back. he is such a hard worker, it was very busy but he was nice to all the customers and always have a smile. Costco is so lucky to have him.

Not worth the little money you save. They typically don’t have enough staff. Have to wait for extended appointments to get tires. I had a flat and had to go around 6 days with spare until could get new tire and the. Appointment to open up. Would rather just pay a little extra and get great service love Costco for everything else

Costco touts customer service and they never come thru with their tire shop. This is my 2nd time trying to rush here to get service before 7 PM and it's always come back the next morning. The 1st time I had my car towed here and that was their same response. Terrible horrible service. They're not even busy and they have guys walking around ??♂️ zero stars

Walked in for a patch on my tire, paid and was told it will be a two and a half hour wait. I asked a mechanic when they could start working on my car after waiting for three hours. I was told it would be another two hour wait. After standing in line for 30 minutes to cancel and get a refund I started talking to other customers who were complaining about the wait times and delays. This seems to be a normal thing based on the staff who could hear us talking and having no reaction at all. This tells me it's a management issue and they can't do anything about it. Or they just don't care and know there isn't much Costco can do about the lack of bad labor. Either or I definitely would not come here again. These guys treat the place like it's the DMV. You stand in line for almost an hour just to get a number to stick on your car. And they tell people to go home and they will call them when the car is ready. The lady in front of me only needed one tire replaced and they told her she will need to come back tomorrow. That's how slow they are.I wasted my entire day because of the slow labor so don't make the same mistake I did. Go to a reputable shop. Even pay more just don't go here unless you don't care about taking an Uber home and leaving your car at the shop for a couple days.

Encountered some difficulties yesterday. My husband and I love Costco and it's friendly, efficient employees. We were in because a Michelin tire we purchased 10 days ago had a bulge. My husband was sent from the indoor line to the outdoor bay and then back to the indoor line TWICE. Communication and organization between employees needs much improvement. We were not pleased.

Worst experience ever. Came in on a Tuesday morning, and as other reviewers have mentioned- already long lines. I spoke with Diego and he informed me they did not have the tires for my car in stock because it's in high demand. Understandable. He said he wouldn't be able to get it in until a few days later, which wouldn't work for me because I need my car. So I asked if it would be possible to patch it up (just so I can drive it to another tire place that may have availability) and he tells me that they can try, but it's not guaranteed and told me upfront it would be 14 bucks. I told him I had to talk to my husband about it and he helped other customers while I was on the phone. So I tell him sure, let's do the patch work. He tells me to leave my keys and come back whenever they call me later in the afternoon cos they're pretty busy. Fair enough. I ask him to write down the type of tire my car needed, and he nodded while he printed out my receipt and took my payment. He gives me the receipt then instantly walks out with other customers to their car. I wasn't too bothered since I saw they were busy and he was multi-tasking. But when he came back I realized he never wrote down the tire type/model I need and he just dictates it to me verbally, super fast. Sorry guy, I'm not a mechanic or a tire person. You're throwing out random item numbers and names. So I took out my phone and had him repeat it slowly. He did. I yelped other businesses and spoke to one who said that the tire model I provided is no longer available/discontinued by Michelin and has been replaced by another tire model. Like wtf? Did you really not want me to shop with other businesses? Surely he would have known it was discontinued because he told me it would take a few days to get the tires in (which I opted out of) so I'm sure he would have known the info for the replacement model but he didn't bother to tellme this or inform me of the discontinuation. They called me at 3pm to tell me they couldn't patch up my tire (there was a nail and air is spilling out) and so I just wasted so much time with Costco. Lesson learned- I will always trust and read reviews. Because it was Costco, I went in blind and fully trusting. He was not friendly and was very flat like he wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone. Find other tire places in the area! I found one in Newport and they were friendly and willing to research to find answers to my BASIC questions. Steer clear of this place.
