My wife and I are very regular Costco shoppers and frequent the Tustin warehouse mostly for the convenience of being so close to home, although it's not our favorite due to the realtively smaller size and fewer items there. We were there recently and in line for some returns. We had just stepped through the small door and were already inside when I decided I needed to go to the restroom whilst my wife stayed in line. I had walked about 10ft when the elderly Asian receipt checker started yelling out LOUD at me to STOP! At first, I didn't know she was calling out to me, but eventually turned around out of curiosity. She went on and on yelling at me, telling me that I had to go throught the front entrance! For goodness sakes, I was just going to the restroom!....we hadn't even begun our regular shopping yet, and had fully intended to exit after our returns were done, and go through the front entrance after we picked up a cart from the outside anyway. I told the lady that I was just heading to the restroom, but she insisted that I had to go throught he front entrance. How ridiculous! Firstly, if we are standing in line, inside the warehouse, it stands to reason that we are Costco members and not just strangers off the street. Secondly, I understand that this may have been Costco's policy and she was just doing her job and following it way too strictly. However, the exit was very crowded, as usual, and I felt so embarrased to be yelled at so loudly in front of everyone, as though I was a little kid at school. She could have use some common sense and better judgment on how to handle this situation much more discretely, like coming up to me, being courteous and professional, and telling just me. Being in initial shock, I just got back into the returns line with my wife and held on to my bladder till we were done. Needless to say, I was rather embarrased, angry, and disappointed with the way this lady spoke to me, and this lingered for much of the day and into the evening. However, upon further reflection on what happened, I started to change my feelings toward this checker lady....whom I had seen at this Costco many dozens of times already. It occured to me that perhaps she was having a bad day at work, at home, and this likely caused her grumpy, rude, and disrespectful demenour. I get it, the world is desperate need of more love, compassion, and understanding, but unfortunately, this not the direction we are heading......it's sad, but this is now the world we live in. So, I am not going to harbor bad feeling toward this checker lady, but would just like to hope and wish that the problems causing her grumpiness, whatever or whereever they may be, are soon lifted, and that she moves on to be happy and enjoy all the wonderful things this amazing world has to offer. A simple smile and being nice and understanding toward others goes a very long way these days.

I went to costco to try their snacks. The churro probably my favorite. The cookie was good totally recommend it. When I tried the pizza it was not good it was not good quality and not good cheese. I shared the milkshake with my friend but it was not really creamy. I don't recommend costco's snacks but they have awesome products you can buy.

If the overall low star review continues to drop at this Costco, then I wouldn't be surprised. If you have gotten poor customer service here, please hit the like/agree button. More-so if you've been poorly helped by a particular employee named Flora then also hit that same button. I thought a gentleman was going to help me and I waited like 10 minutes until Flora stepped in. I was with my family trying to get price adjustment on a couple of shirts that I bought a couple weeks ago within the 30 day period policy. The moment she came to assist, I already knew something wasn't right. The looks and tone I got were very rude. To which made me feel like calling upper management to provide better service but at that point she was already handling it or as she said in her own words in front of me and my family "I got to make sure I'm doing my job duties" to which I don't know why she would even say that in front of a customer. Not only that but when I walked over to the clothing section to take a picture of the price drop of the shirts, another employee who followed behind who was directed to also check out the price said "oh I think it's expired" which was odd because there is nothing on the price tag that says expire date. The experience ended horribly when Flora said to me with attitude "just so you know, I messed up on the price. It's not normally a price that ends in 0s" (which I researched what 00 means it's a manager's discount see picture below. Again her comment threw me off), gives me the money in cash and as I thanked her, there were no positive exchange of acknowledgment for helping me out. I mean "you're welcome have a nice night" goes a long way but okay. Maybe someone had already complained about her previously or maybe having a bad day but you don't take it out on other customers. It's super disappointing because this is the closest Costco to my house and have hardly had any type of service like this. Couple weeks ago when I bought my shirts is when I had picked up my prescription glasses and want to give a shout out to their employees at the optometry department. Customer service like Flora and the other red vest employees that were involved with assisting Flora is just a huge example of having robots step in and take over so this doesn't happen again. I could get the same customer service from a robot. I'm sorry you had to do your job. If this long review doesn't convince you then I was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Store is great despite it being smaller than others. The pharmacy department at this location not the best in service. They answer the phone quickly compared to other pharmacies but are nearly not as helpful.

To the people who work at the tire center sales area, you should sue Costco corporate for making you work in that warehouse with no airflow and the off gassing of all those tires. No one know what the long term health effects of that brings to customers, not to mention employees.

This Costco is great for your daily needs but the one in the district (about 1.5 miles south on Tustin ranch road) is bigger and has more variety.

Parking is a nightmare around all Costcos but this is ridiculous. The seating area for food is too small and the fact if you want some more napkins you have to go all the way through the front again is horrible.

I love this Costco but the customers are rude. These two people took cuts in front of me and another customer in the returns line. Way to teach your son values and manners, lady. They're returning a cart full of clothes which they probably wore. Costco should ban these people for life.

Costco is always my one of the favorite places to shop. There is no stock for my shopping item sometimes like other stores.

Last Thursday, my mom and I went to Costco. We were shopping for groceries and sandwiches. When my mom asked an employee for help, he got mad. However, another employee, a girl, was very friendly and nice. Unfortunately, our cashier wasn't nice or friendly, which was unexpected. The manager should speak with the Costco team about improving their customer service. I work at Sprouts and we're never rude to customers, always greeting them even when tired. Next time, we'll choose a different cashier.

I would avoid the manager Casey if u need help with anything. We're at Costco every week and buy everything we need from here including gas for all 3 of our vehicles, and even have the executive membership. We never have returned anything and was trying to inquire about one with a new TV we ordered not that long ago. Casey was super unprofessional and clearly doesn't know the meaning of customer service. She just had a blank stare and just rudely told me that we can't return or get an adjustment (mind you it's $200 cheaper now!) no apologies, nothing. We had even waited in line for 30+ mins just to get denied. It doesn't make sense to me the whole Costco return policy! It's like they pick and choose who they want to do returns for because I have heard they have great return policies. I will be avoiding this location from now on.
