We have been sending our 3 kids to the CBI CDC since 2017 and have had a wonderful experience. The teachers are caring and foster wonderful socio-emotional development as well as authentic learning experiences. My kids have made wonderful friends and always look forward to going to school. We highly recommend the school.

Our family joined the CDC in 2019, specifically choosing it for our daughter because of it's warm, loving, and great environment for learning. Since then, we have also put a second child in school there, and plan to enroll our third in the fall. They focus on teaching kids how to be good people. We appreciate the hard work and dedication of the director and the teachers who make such wonderful memories with our children and we couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

My son has been at CBI's preschool since 2019, and we came to the preschool because my siblings have had their children begin their eductional experiences there, too, and they loved it. Across the board, the teachers, director, administrative assistant, and community at CBI is everything we could have hoped for.Physical Space and Enviornment: The preschool is always clean, organized, and safe (inside and outside) for learning and creative, exploratory play. The classrooms and the outside play area are just awesome. As in I wish I could hang out in the garden, play in the dino dig, experience the fun agility course, play in the castle, create plays and song concerts from the stage area, and make pretend pies in the mud bar. From intentional stations that are developmentally appropriate and that spark movement and a love for learning, our kiddo loves going into school. He has gained so much confidence in his motor skills, physical development, and social relationships within the space of the preschool.Teachers and Director: The team of teachers, led by the Director of the preschool are all amazing: as educators and as people who truly care about and love their profession as teachers. Experienced in child care and child development is baseline at CBI, but then you see how they lead their classrooms with care, love, patience, compassion, and positive energy. They have a command of the best philosophies and schools of thought when it comes to nurturing and enriching the children. My son feels safe, loved, and has learned some of the hardest things to learn about character, growth mindset, and most importantly for a school, a true love and curiousity for learning. Parents get regular (if not daily) updates on the day's activities with photos on the school's app, and a weekly newsletter. The team at CBI allow me, as a parent, to feel confident and assured that my son is happy, safe, and enriched while I'm at work. They are true partners in my son's growth and development.Structure and Safety: The preschool keeps a structured schedule and has been incredible at keeping safety protocols before/during/after COVID. I am beyond impressed and so grateful to have been a part of the CBI community during 2020-2021, knowing my son was safely back at school while i juggled working from home etc.Two notes to keep in mind: 1) CBI is the most inclusive and diverse Jewish preschool i've found, but if you hope to celebrate secular American holidays at your child's school (ex: Halloween, Valentine's Day, etc) these are not celebrated here, and 2) CBI accomodates allergies and is a peanut free, no meat (fish is okay) school. Although we celebrate these holidays and eat meat at home, these weren't deal breakers for us, and frankly did not make a difference at all for my family because of all of the other amazing benefits we receive, but i'm including it here in case these things are important for you.Overall, we just love CBI's preschool. We have made lifelong friends, both with the teachers and fellow parents. Best of all, my son is so ready (intellectually, mentally, emotionally) for TK and Kindergarten because of the amazing foundation he received at CBI.

CBI is the synagogue our family has been going to for years. It has an amazing religious school that has taught my kids a lifetime of knowledge about their Jewish identity. The classrooms are gorgeous and the quality of teaching is outstanding. No other temple in the county can prepare their kids for their bar/bat mitzvah like CBI. We have made lifelong friendships with many CBI families who have become like family to us. You definitely feel a sense of community when attending services and events at CBI.

CBI is a very warm community were people make connections that turn into lifetime friendships. Whatever your level of observance might be, you will feel comfortable. It is a safe environment where you will create many good memories.

CBI is a warm, friendly and participatory congregation. The different elements of the services and the Torah readings are done by the congregants. There are plenty of learning opportunities (children and adult education programs) and often multiple services (tat Shabbat, youth service, experiential service, etc.) are held at the same time to accommodate the needs of the congregation.
