Nobody is at checkout. Only self checkout is available. If you buy alcohol you’ll need to take it to a human and go back to self checkout for the rest items.

I am surprised that a lot of people have never heard about Aldi and the quarter policy so now I usually carry two quarters in case someone needs it. The produce is good, cheap and fresh. You can get a lot of things at a very low price. There are some organic products too. Customer service is pretty good considering the low price there. But I would recommend not buying meat, some of the Aldi brand snacks and frozen food. 4 out of 5 times the meat is bad even the sell by date is days later. Some of the snacks are cheap but they don't taste right.
