I came in with an old TD14A bulldozer starter and they were nothing but nice and helped me out. This was lucky enough they had a like item to try and do the rebuild for me. At this point, even if it doesn't work I have to tell you the service will have me coming back for all my dozer needs!

I have an old "project car" that is proving difficult to find replacement parts since it turns out to be not so popular. Looking for an oddball alternator, I tried the dealer, online parts, and the chain stores. A customer there told me to try Vapex in Turlock. The help there were excellent, they knew the market, they knew how to find the difficult stuff, and were able to rebuild my original unit to my great satisfaction. They wee working on parts for trucks, tractors, boat motors, all kinds of engines. They are not a mass marketer, but a old fashioned "fix everything" kind of place, with surprisingly reasonable prices for some very unusual projects, a pleasant surprise !

Vapex is great! Everyone there is super nice and helpful!! They are able to find the parts that no one else has and for cheap. I was looking a new alternator for my car and everywhere I looked had prices over $400. Vapex found it for less than $200. These guys have saved me so much money and I will never go anywhere else. Customer for life!!

Love coming down here seeing all the different people working on cool different projects. As an employee it's always an adventure as one day someone will bring in a starter for a 1929 Cadillac. The next day it's an alternator for a Kubota. It's great to work in a family environment that cares about the people that Come through the door. Come down and see us.
