HORRIBLE experience. I am writing this review to WARN people. If you like being disrespected and talked down to, this is the place for you. Just awful people to do business with. Dealt with a very rude regular employee and an even worse supervisor. Stay away. The people at the Dino mart on golden state were more pleasant than these people. If you read all the negative comments on here about this place please believe them. They are right. This is my first negative review about any place in general. Worst experience ever. 0 out of 10, do not recommend.

Michelle went above and beyond to help me today, I was very upset about my U-Haul rental, other people were giving me a hard time and making EVERYTHING so difficult.I reached out and she did Everything and made my move so much easier so thank you again.?

NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE! they are so disrespectful and unhelpful!! Never have I received such awful service!! I rented the wrong size uhaul and the old man at the counter tried to double charge us a uhaul for one that we had for 30 MINUTES and used LESS THAN 10 MILES! absolutely ridiculous!!

One star is being generous. If I could I would leave none. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered. I do not like to play the discrimination card but here I will. This place and owner screams racism, homophobia, and transphobia. Eddie is the name of the worker and owner that I had the unfortunate chance of meeting. My mother ordered a vehicle that was much larger than needed. She is not very knowledgeable on the subject of vehicles. My father is who picked up the truck and brought it home. He knew it was large when picking up but did not know he could exchange then and there. My mother did not pick up the phone when he had called so he proceeded to drive it home. I understand he could have made the decision himself but my father is not from this county and does as told from my mother. When he had arrived I had told him it was large and for us to drive back to exchange. We only had the vehicle for 30 minutes and drove it a total of 10 miles. Myself and my girlfriend went with my father to exchange. This whole time my mother was at work dealing with Eddie over the phone. From what I understand he also was rude and unhelpful on the phone. I however cannot speak on that, I can only speak on my experience. When starting the conversation with Eddie I had mentioned that I would be doing the speaking on behalf of my parents as my mother is at work and father does not speak English well. When confronted with Eddie I already sensed prejudice through his initial facial expression but disregarded it. I do not like to assume that everyone that confronts me is prejudice. I politely had asked Eddie if there was anyway we could not be charged for both vehicles. I also offered to pay the higher price if we were not to be charged with both. He declined and explained that we will have to be charged for both as it is policy. I understood but followed up to ask why and if there was any way to get around it. I attempted to connect with him sympathizing that I understand he is only doing his job as I too work in customer service. I explained to him my frustration on this situation and in a calm tone asked if he could see how this is a "bull shit" situation to pay for both full price. He was offended by my choice of wording which I quickly apologized for and admitted I could have used a different word. I explained to him I in no way was meaning to be disrespectful or wishing to offend him but rather calling the policy itself bullshit. I continued to talk to Eddie about how we could resolve this situation but he was already hostile towards me. I asked if we could then proceed with purchase and if there was a number I could call to perhaps be refunded. He now speaking in a rude tone gave me the 1800 number. I asked Eddie if he would sell to us still because I could tell he was unhappy. He proceeded to lecture to me how I was disrespectful and that he does not tolerate such language in his shop. He also began to state that I feel the policy is ridiculous but he does not. I in no way shape or form was disrespectful but still apologized for the situation and choice of language on one word. My father was of course becoming angry and trying to talk to Eddie himself. My father does not speak English well or understand policies such as the right to refuse service. Eddie laughed at my father in the open and continued to look at and speak to me as if I was illiterate. I had mentioned this to Eddie and how I did not appreciate his treatment towards us. He continued to state his right to refuse which again I understand. I too work in customer service and continued to sympathize him on that part. My father had left the building and my girlfriend walked in to talk to Eddie himself. My girlfriend is, without bias, a young, beautiful, and white female. As soon as she spoke to him his demeanor changed. He was suddenly polite and willing to share helpful information. Keep in mind my girlfriend did not confront him as politely as I had did. If I could give negative stars to this place I would! This place is so racist and ignorant. I have NEVER experienced such rudely and disrespectful service from a couple before now. We rented to large of a uhaul and when my father-in-law and myself went back to get a smaller uhaul they refused to sell use another one and started laughing at my father-in-law who does not speak great english. we had the uhaul for no longer than 30 mins and they continued to attempt to charge up the full. The old man helping us out started to raise his voice and continued to yell that he would double charge us to get another uHaul, no matter that we only had it for 30 MINUTES and drove only 8 MILES in the whole timeframe. At the end he completely refused to sell us any type of uhaul because "It is our fault and maybe someone who understands better should rent the uhaul next time." NEVER rent from this place.

the lady who rented out to me lied about being required to get their Safemove insurance on the truck. called corporate to confirm this and was told the insurance is optional to get and is not required. would avoid here at all costs and go to the one on first off of goldenstate
