The staff was nice however I would not recommend this place for what they charge. 250$ for my German shepherd alone plus another 75$ for our terrier. The service was okay but I would never pay this outrageous amount ever again. I urge others to go elsewhere too.

The owner Catarina and her apprentice Meg did an amazing job with my cat. He is super difficult to groom. I was so worried about it, but they talked me through the process of what they would be doing with him. It was an all day event for him, but that's because they didn't want to stress him out and ease him into each step of the groom and give him breaks. They were awesome enough to also text me through out the day and give me updates. I had a great experience with these ladies and I will definitely be back.

I took day off just to take my dog in since hours of operation where not working with my work schedule, she cancelled that morning stating car issues, I let her know I stayed home and I had all day to let me know if she made it to shop or have someone else to cut my dogs hair, she didn't respond till next day, rescheduled me for a Sunday and cancelled Sunday morning stating car issues again. This was 2 days later from first apt! then stated she can refer me out or reschedule again but never responded to my message.

Cat is amazing with my boys! It can be difficult to trust someone to take care of your fur babies but my boys are always happy to be there and they always look fresh after seeing her. She also has the sweetest personality! I definitely recommend her to my friends and family that need a new pet groomer.

My dog, Lexi, had gone way beyond her normal grooming period. We recently moved and have had a difficult time getting any shop, in my local area (Madera), to respond with a call or an appointment time. In fact as soon as they knew the breed, Keeshond, they passed or didn't return my call. Imagine how pleased I was to have an appointment. I am physically challenged at the present. I am hard pressed to stand, bend, sit, or get up and down from the floor. All the more reason this appointment was critical.It took nearly the entire day to get Lexi groomed and I am glad we won't have to put her through that rigorous of a grooming session again. However, Lexi is in better spirits; cooler; and feeling better overall spending the time and energy. And, yes, the cost was commensurate with the job.I don't look forward to driving an hour each way - especially through the construction mess between Merced and Atwater. I do, however, look forward to knowing I have a groomer that is transparent, kind, and ethical. Plus she meets the three major pillars of sustainability - her practice is good for the people/pet, planet, and profit.

Kat truly loves what she does. She actually cares about my dogs and has helped them enjoy their grooming experience. Kat, listens to how I want my dogs to look and I can say they come home trauma free.I love that she sends videos and pics while my dogs are at her business and spoils them with treats and kisses.Finally a groomer that cares!

We have been taking our dogs to Turlock Pet Grooming for over 10 years. The new owner Cat is amazing, and I wouldn’t take our dogs anywhere else. I truly cannot recommend her enough. We have a dog with alopecia and other skin allergies he has been dealing with since we adopted him. Since taking him to Turlock Pet Shop his skin irritations are almost non existent, and he actually has fur growing in spot it never has before! He goes in for special treatment bath and Cat sends him home with a spray she makes herself that has really been a game changer! Our second dog, Jagger, is a soft wired hair doxie which every OTHER groomer has described his fur as very difficult to work with, but not Cat. She has honestly given him the best cuts he has ever had. He looks so much more like his bread, and she even adds some style with a little mohawk. Turlock Pet Shop genuinely cares for the animals they groom, and take pride in their work. I love the way they have remodeled the space and wouldn’t trust my dogs going anywhere else.
