Just like any other TJ Maxx, they have good and affordable options when luck is with you. What I mean by this, is that if you come on the right day you’ll be able to find multiple things you’ll like, but on a bad day you might not find much.
This recent trip, I was able to find 5 t-shirts I liked. However, as a man, there is very little options for us to shop for. There were 4 or 5 racks of clothes for men, so there isn’t a lot for us. I got lucky on my visit, but I believe this only occurs occasionally.
It would be nice to have more clothing options for men, although I doubt it would happen due to the store’s small size.

Love T.J. Max in Turlock! I always find awesome clothes, household items, spices, toys for animals, all beautiful holiday season items there! I love the customer service at checkout, especially Anthony, he's the Best and makes you glad you were there! Thank you T.J. Max, and thank you Anthony! ?

One thing iritates me. Your policy on purchase and return locations keep changing. At various times jewelry returns must be a front cashiers, other times only at jewelry, other times either location. Decide what your policy is and leave it. Last week I waited in a long line to return a piece of jewelry at front cashiers only to be told I could only return jewelry to jewelry dept. Then I had to wait again while jewelry cashier waited on clients already there.
Then yesterday, I found two solar lights I wanted and then went to jewelry and found a beautiful necklace to purchase. However the cashier said I would need to purchase the lights up front. There was a very long line at that time so I told cashier just to forget it all. Then she had the nerve to tell to put the solar lights back on the shelf. I left them sitting there.

Was looking at makeup and manager felt like I was taking up his time!! I felt like he didn't think I was snobby enough to be in the store or good enough stood there cause I was looking felt like I was gonna steal or sumthing or taking his time up!! Won't be going in there for awhile!! I'm a regular in there and just read other reviews with this customer service!!

Stopped by the location in Turlock to help my mother find a necklace. My mom is 80 years old so she takes a little more time to be helped and I just wanted to say thank you to the service she received from young lady by the name of Fatima. She has a great smile and in this day and time due to many challenges its hard to find people who have a kind demeanor. Thanks to TJ Maxx for choosing a great representation of kindness.

Okay, first things first, I love TJ Maxx. The stores are great, and I always find too much, lol. I had gotten a pricey necklace for Christmas that wasn't my favorite because it was gold, so I decided to return it so the money wouldn't go to waste. On the way in the store, a lady who worked there said we couldn't return it if the jewelry didn't have a tag on it, even though we had the original packaging and receipt. She sent someone over to the jewelry counter to help us. He was very nice and called the manager to help him out because our return was over 200 dollars. She ended up letting us return it for store credit, which was nice. Now, to the bad part, about halfway through our shopping, we had to use the restroom. The first thing we noticed was the smell. It was awful, but it is a bathroom, so we understood. I go in one of the stalls and it was dis gus ting. Someone had wiped their butt and put the soiled toilet paper on top of the already overflowing trash can. I wanted to throw up. My mom and I were talking about how gross it was, and then an employee walked out of a stall and gave us the dirtiest look ever as if us talking about the disgusting bathroom offended her. If it offended so badly, she should've done something about it... Overall a good store, we found lots of stuff, and our cashier lady was super friendly, but we definitely will NEVER use their bathrooms again.
