Don't send your black child to this school. They held up my daughter's degree and refused to give it to her until I threatened to take further recourse. . My daughter had been so hurt after she worked so hard and then was denied what she worked for. They finally put it in the mail. My daughter cried when she saw her degree. Don't send your black child to this school. Teachers and staff are racist.

Did my undergrad here. Great professors, great friends. Close enough to home so I stayed with my parents so I can't comment on living there. Really pretty campus.

I'm surprised by the negative comments. I went to stanislaus and it enabled me to become a professional and multi millionaire.

My B.A. at CSUS was next to worthless. I was a Organizational Communication major with a Journalism Minor. I didn't learn any more than I would have on YouTube and the only highlights of my 4 years were learning tips from a Modesto Bee journalist who taught 1 class (then they ended that) and being on KCSS. But the thing that bothered me most is when I became successful, they'd call me for donation$ (which I sent) but when my dad died & I moved back, I tried volunteering at my Alma Mater. The Communication professors had zero interest in having a free club, or workshop to teach their students how to get jobs in media. Isn' that crazy? Then, a month later I got a call to give a donation. Uh! So in other words, they were interested in my money, but nothing more. Also, they spend $$$ on speakers like Sarah Palin. NO UNIVERSITY SHOULD PAY A POLITICIAN TO TALK. EVER. No wonder they hate the name "Turkey Tech" ... it fits them.

Beautiful campus. Has opened paths around campus to walk and go around your bike. Very nice to have a photography session in the afternoons.

Amazing University with great professors. I am thankful for the kind people in this school they're always finding a way to help you. You'll make friends fast and the campus is beautiful. the walk to Dutch bros is always fun with friends and I love how there's always something to look at on the way there!

I have heard so many rumors hat this school is know for racism but I had to experience it myself.. I think it's a very great school I made many new friends ! The school doesn't have a football team but that was not a problem for me. Im majoring in physiology and I always receive the support from the professors and the counselor as well! I recommend this school if you want to make new friends, enjoy the hot weather and the beautiful campus!!And no it is not racist, the school has a mix of all different types of people and we all respect each other

Want to screw your life beyond repair and get scammed? While this school is not a diploma mill, it might as well be one almost on the quality of Trump University especially if your doing business which will always feel like Trump Univerisity no matter where you go. We got the college for you. Go to a vocational school before going here or else you will be left without a job and no room for FAFSA, however, there will still be some cheap community colleges that can provide some training and can be paid for out of pocket. Thanks to this joke of a university, I became poor along with my two brothers.Pros:-It's cheap and affordable-You will get an education-Some programs (Nursing, Econ, Math) are decent.-It actually offers STEM programs unlike some online schoolsCons:-You likely will not have a job-Your job will be automated, outsourced, or not in demand.-There is no engineering department-The education you will get is too general-You will not pay back your student loan due to interest-You will end up in debt if you couldn't find a job or didn't go to MJC before going here.-It's a waste of FAFSA money and your better off dropping out for a college / trade school with more connections. Look up the SAP policy so that you can realize that you need to spend your time wisely, do not be a dudebro and waste your time partying. The main reason why this place is bad is because the material for all majors (Yes - Even STEM) is due to everything being not hands on or being specialized enough to get you a job. In any university no degree guarantees a job. Some programs are great like Nursing and Math while others are a complete joke. If your looking for a quick way into med school, this school could work too, but if your looking for a job go elsewhere. What does this place have? Teachers that don't care about their students other than progressing an agenda to make the students corporate lapdogs. Meet the firms night which is designed to make you a corporate lapdog where you attend networking events just so they can laugh at you for having no skills or the same skills as everyone else. Primerica often comes to the business school to get students knowing how worthless their degree is in the real world. Accounting and Finance are pretty much a jokes. In fact most business related careers are automated, being nothing more than button pushing. Even if you do STEM, your fate is getting hired by Galileo Wine Company (who funds this college) as a contract worker only to then be tossed out in the capitalist fashion. I saw a man on linkedin who took 9 years for a math degree as a part time student and what does Galileo do. Galileo decides to only hire him as a contract worker for 6 months and then throw him out. A lot of people do not understand how the corporate environment works. Do you really want to go corporate, there is no money to be made with companies that ask absurd requirements like job experience as a fresh graduate. It's a nightmare of progressive credentialism, tests, out of touch bosses, and much much more. How do you then pay your debts off? You simply can't in any feasible way since there are no connections which means no job although this university is cheap. Especially if you did nothing during your 4 years.Go to Sac, Fresno, Chico if you want value for a 4 year in STEM. They have real degrees and real connections. The environment is better and not a waste of time.Go to Stellar, Modesto Trade School, or some other trade school if you want a job. Go anywhere, but here unless you are looking for a get it done quick degree (in math, econ, or one of the ba degrees). Stan's CS program is only ok at best.Go become a trucker, NCCT, or Job Corps if you are simply only looking to be employed and do not want to pay money for a trade school, but have no real career goals.Go to Dehart, Modesto Trade School, and MJC if you want skilled trades.Payscale has shown that most grads have only landed in three types of job, software developer (you can get this with certs out of high school), staff accountant, and s

PROS:- Respected university in the inner suburbs of CA- Beautiful grounds at this school- Professors are highly educated and really care about their students success- Large parking lots (that you need a permit for)- Provides student housing for students close to the university CONS:- Area the university is located in, there isn't much to do (bad if you are looking for a nightlife)- Expensive (as any university)- Delay in getting a response to messages for professors and/or other staff members - Lots of people taking photography shoots on the property as it is so nice
