Annoyed. Drive all the way from Waterford, called ahead to confirm what time they stop serving ice cream, spoke with Josh, and said "9:30pm or so" (At 8:35pm) Mind you I'm pregnant and this was my craving. Drove all the way to Turlock's Rite Aide on Monte Vista. We get there at 8:55pm. The guy said he closed everything down and when we said oh man we called ahead to confirm, they said 9:30pm. he responsed with they are short staffed and closed it. lol there wasn't one person in the line or in the store... we walked to the freezer section, did not find the one we wanted, left and went to yogurtmill. Just annoyed on driving 20 mins out of the way with confirming with the employee and to get there for no reason / couldn't help us simply because he didn't want to, and get one scooper dirty. 0/5 stars

We use this pharmacy quite a bit, and there is always a problem. We can be told one thing by one employee and then told something entirely different from another pharmacy staff. Having an issue once in a while is fine, but every time you go? We will be switching pharmacies. The customer service at the front desk has been good though, it's the pharmacy that has serious issues.

As Rite Aid as a Corporation continues its financial collapse, you would think the local store would ramp up its customer service to keep long time customers and maybe attract new ones. This store is acting to the contrary and the customer service is the worst it's been in the 12-15 years I've been a customer. The manager is clueless and acts as if she is just in a placeholder position. I transfered all my business/prescriptions to CVS. Good bye Rite Aid.

Never again will I have a prescription sent to this location. Worst experience ever. I had urgent care send two prescriptions for my son to this pharmacy. I called two hours later to check on its status and was told it was ready to be picked up. I arrived an hour later to pick them up and they only had one ready. When I asked about the second more important one they had to look for it and then said it had been put on hold and sent back because the dosage was not correct. I asked why it wasn't mentioned earlier when I called and they couldn't say. So they called and the doctor confirmed that the dosage was in fact correct but now I was told they had none and no other rite aides in town had any but that I could drive to Stockton or wait 4 days of a new shipment. I asked about finding a new pharmacy to transfer it to which she said could be done but the new pharmacy would have to reach out and ask for it to be transferred. I went down the street to CVS who had the medication in stock and they sent a request while I was there for it to be transferred and told me they would give me a call when it was ready. I called CVS after 2 hours to check and they still hadn't received the prescription. At this point it's an hour until closing. I called rite aide to see what was going on and the phone would ring and ring and ring. This was ridiculous, this prescription was needed that night, not next week! I will NEVER use this pharmacy again and you shouldn't trust them with anything important. Shout out to CVS for pulling through and doing the extra work to fill this for me!

Horrible customer service now. When they were first open, they were on top of it. Now there's always a new person at the drive thru and the wait time is about fifteen minutes. If you are in the second lane to the right, they will take you behind people in the left lane. They tell you a prescription will be ready by 1 pm the day after you order online, so you drive over, wasting time and gas because prescriptions are NOT ready. Why is is that customer service is a thing of the past?

I've been faithfully shopping at this store for over 10 years. I live in the country so when I shop I stock up. This location has gone down hill. It's still clean but the shelves are always empty, no baskets (they said they where all stolen) GET MORE. Bad attitude staff (wasn't that way a few years ago). I want to go to one store not 4 to find all the items I need. Sad our society and corporate heads are driving everyone to shop online. Good bye Rite Aid Monte Vista.

The reason I am writing this post is because of one amazing soul. Joseph was such a huge help for when I went in, he had such a soft voice that was welcoming and was always super kind with every sentence. Will always come back to this place as long as he is here, thank you again Joseph you made mine and my girlfriends day a whole lot better.

They locked me in their store. The closing person didn't announce they were closing over the intercom or check their restroom so when I walked out and realized I was locked in a closed store I just about had an anxiety attack. I cried by the door and a screaming alarm for probably 20 mins while my BF tried to contact Rite Aid to let me out. Thankfully I realized they have to have an emergency exit somewhere and found one in their back storage room freed at last. You would never expect that to happen to you and when it does let me tell you it is not a good feeling. I hate to say it but that was extremely lazy and inconsiderate of their staff. I avoid going to this store now when I can bc when I do all I think about is the walls closing in on me.

We've shopped at this particular Rite Aid a few times and the staff are very friendly and helpful including the pharmacists. One employee in particular by the name of Joseph who works in the front, gives excellent customer service (not just in person but on the telephone). We let him know that today in person when we were in there shopping. We believe in giving credit where credits due.

Horrible Pharmacy! I scheduled my Covid-19 vaccine and have been receiving multiple emails and texts reminding me for 2 weeks, I get there today and they tell me I'm not in the system and I need to schedule an appointment. I gave them my confirmation number and even showed them the emails and texts, still no. That place is for the birds. I bet they don't even have the vaccine and just trying to get people in the store.

I just had a HORRIBLE experience at Rite Aid Turlock pharmacy. I was able to schedule a covid test online and waited 3 days for my appt. I arrived on time and the employee at the drive thru mumbled instructions to me and pointed to which end of the stick I had to insert into my nostril. I say mumbled because she was wearing a mask and I could hardly understand what she was saying. Anyway, after I placed the stick into the tube to give back to her I realized there was a fuzzy side. I asked her if I did it correctly and she said yes. I said thanks and drove off. I had a strong feeling something was wrong so once I got home I called the pharmacy and spoke with an employee who told me that I did in fact do it wrong just as I suspected but there was nothing she could do to help me. Basically I have to make another appt. online and wait another few days if I'm lucky enough to get another spot. How is this professional in any way? It's great that Rite Aid is offering this service but if your employees aren't trained to handle something as serious as covid-19, what's the point? If I was running the pharmacy I'd apologize and ask the customer to come back and take another test. A member of pharmacy should NEVER say, sorry I can't help you. Then what is the point of your establishment to begin with? And how hard is it to clearly say, fuzzy side up????

Went there today for my CoVid_19 test at the drive-up and it went really smoothly. The sign, when you drive up says that at that point, it is an hour wait...thankfully, I only had to wait about 30 minutes. And the test went relatively quickly. So now I wait for the results.

I’m super disappointed in Rite Aid and Rite Aid Pharmacy. We are going through a pandemic. Employees should be wearing masks. They are not. Employees are also publicly posting nasty comments about how they refuse to social distancing, wear masks, etc. If the vulnerable have to come in your store, you expose them? Looks like a lawsuit to me and we can see exactly where it’s coming from. Pretty stupid Rite Aid!! I’d encourage anyone with a prescription to transfer it because the pharmacy department is not wearing publicly posting about not wearing masks / social distancing. D**** uneducated people. It never stops!!
