I went to Petco in Turlock, to get some dog food for my Dog Pepsi. I just lost my dog Tucker this weekend, and Pepsi didn't want to eat. It's been days, so I wanted to buy something he couldn't resist. I spoke with Sara, and she mentioned a couple of different foods and then guided me to them. I bought the instinct Rawboost Kibble and Raw beef, and then I picked up an ice cream. I just got home, and Pepsi is eating the kibble. He's a picky eater anyway, and losing his sidekick made everything worse. I would like to thank Sara for the advice and great customer service.

my family and i just wanted to get a goldfish and the workers didint want to sell them to us and they just sold us a sick fish i think ill just stick to the one in atwater or ill go to petsmart

We moved here recently, and needed a place to get our dog bathed. Somebody recommended this place, and told me to ask for Chelsea. I was somewhat hesitant due to Petco being a chain store, but figured "why not". Let me tell you, I was not disappointed. Charlie came back happy as could be. Chelsea had him looking fluffy and fresh to death. We'll be back in 4 months.

Didn’t sell me shrimp, the lady that helped us said we were bad owners, even though she said half of hers died. Made me feel bad for the 99 cent shrimp. She said I live in a closet

I bought a parakeet on 05/26/2024 and on05/29/2024 the parakeet died. And I had called them to tell them the bird was sick. And they told me to bring it in. They said they couldn’t do anything about it. Supposed they gave me a paper saying no returns. So I lost $ 54.00 dollars on that sick bird they sold me.

The store aisles are kind of close together. I brought my puppy in to get a kennel and a few other things. We kept bumping into everything. There's not much room to shop comfortably with your pet, in my opinion, but if you're going solo, you're fine. No customer service offered to help either, so it's not my favorite location.

They are so nice and helpful! My autistic son was driving me up the wall as I tried to shop for new kitten essentials. One of the male staff came and help me get the small kennel to the the counter. And proceeded to assist in getting all my purchases out to the car. Leaving me hands free to take boy and kitten safety to my car and buckled in. He handled my online purchase for litter (that I forgot and made sitting in the car) in timely fashion and brought to me curbside. Thanks Petco!

I spoke to the manager yesterday regarding the person at the checkout and her unbelilveable response to me when I simply asked her a question regarding the size of bag food for small dogs. Her response to me was "if it was back there it would be obvious". No other assistance was offered. The manager indicated that she had spoken to the employee about her treatment of customers, but apparently this behavior continues.

Sold us fish with ick and have sold us several fish that have just died, every time I go in there, there’s either dead fish or a tank infested with algae, i will no longer be buying fish from here, ontop of it all aquatic staff is extremely rude to me and my mother
